Very cool to see Johnny Valentine win the gold, although I would have like to see Bobo Brazil with a longer title reign. JV retaining in the rematch was good and it will be interesting to see who he faces next. I loved that six man tag on card #8 and the slick way we got to a Larry Hennig & Harley Race pairing. I love seeing old school teams revived so I'm hoping to see good things from Hennig & Race. Butcher Vachon with a huge win over The Crusher. I also liked that Adrian Street-J.J. Dillon pairing in the opener. When I first started watching wrestling regularly in the early 80's I remember Dillon briefly managing Street in Florida. I was fortunate enough to see Florida wrestling on TV even here in the northeast where it was carried on Tuesday nights on a local Spanish language station. JV makes an excellent champion - He was your first LOW World Heavyweight champ, I believe... Even though I agree that a longer reign for Brazil would have been pretty sweet... His time will come around again, have no doubt. What I like about that Race / Hennig pairing was that it came about so naturally... I'm a little over halfway through this first tour and I plan on crowning my inaugural tag champs in the near future... Expecting this duo will be a part of the scene. Always a great pleasure to read your input, my friend... Appreciate you taking the time to check in, as always... Truth!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
*** News Feature - Behind The Curtain ***
- Bobo Brazil will be taking some time off following the next show in which he will serve as a special ringside enforcer for a tag team main event pitting Ivan Koloff and LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion, Johnny Valentine against Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens. There is some speculation that this is the reason why Brazil dropped the title to Valentine so soon after becoming the inaugural champion just a short time ago. The reason for the hiatus has not been given, but insiders believe Brazil will return to the company before the end of the year.

For Every Action Tour (card #9) 01.Mar.03 - XL Center, Hartford, CT
GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/ Cherie Dupre) def. Kenny Jay via pinfall at 1:04. - George finished Jay with an airplane spin. Before the opening bell, George told the crowd that he would only face the best competition the company could offer. The fans were not buying into his production and loudly voiced their opinions. Jay tried to jump George while he yelled at the crowd, but Cherie warned him to turn around. Spinning around to meet the charge, George made short work of his opponent. -- Tokens: n/a
J.J. DILLON def. Billy Red Lyons via pinfall at 2:19. - Dillon finished Lyons with an ELBOW DROP. Lyons thrilled the crowd with his aerial expertise, but lost his balance while attempting a sprinboard maneuver off the ropes and Dillon instantly capitalized on the mistake -- Tokens: Lyons 2
BUTCHER & MAD DOG VACHON def. Johnny Saint & Mike DiBiase via pinfall at 1:56. - Mad Dog finished Saint with a PILEDRIVER. The Vachons were more vicious than ever as they bullied Saint into a corner and when DiBiase tried to intervene, they launched him over the top rope. When the match ended, Mad Dog called out Red Bastien and The Crusher. Since neither was scheduled to appear on the show, Mad Dog did not receive a response. Butcher laughed and told his brother they would catch the cowards at another time. -- Tokens: Saint 2 - After receiving some quick medical attention, Saint was able to exit without help. Pampero Firpo bumped Saint while heading to the ring for his upcoming match, leading to a wild brawl. DiBiase tried to separate them, but was shoved aside.
Joe Blanchard vs. Pampero Firpo resulted in a no contest. - When Blanchard arrived, Firpo was trading blows with Johnny Saint. Security arrived to pull them apart and both were escorted to the backstage area. As a result, this contest did not take place.
THE DESTROYER def. The Spoiler via pinfall at 10:50. - Destroyer finished Spoiler with a handstand knee drops. Both men displayed superb technique in what many people in attendance dubbed the Melee of the Masks. A perfectly timed reversal after being whipped into the turnbuckles provided Destroyer with the opening he needed to claim a hard fought victory. Destroyer offered to shake hands after the bell, but Spoiler waved him off and promised they would meet again. -- Tokens: Destroyer 2 - Spoiler 5
No Holds Barred Match ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER & BULL CURRY def. Angelo Poffo & Bob Armstrong via pinfall at 14:48. - Curry finished Poffo with a foreign object. The rivalry between these two sides reached a new level in this conflict. Despite a valiant effort, Poffo and Armstrong were unable to summon the aggression needed in this kind of warfare. Both were busted wide open as Abdullah and Curry unleashed their well stocked arsenal of hardcore maneuvers. -- Tokens: Poffo 4, Armstrong 6
HARLEY RACE (w/ Larry Hennig) def. Killer Kowalski (w/ Jackie Fargo) via pinfall at 12:51. - Race finished Kowalski with a back suplex. Interference played a major factor in this grueling encounter. Fargo was the first to get involved, smashing Race with a wrench while the referee was looking the other way. Still enraged by Kowalski's betrayal on the last show, Hennig pulled the referee out of the ring, interrupting a near fall and buying Race enough time to mount a comeback. -- Tokens: Race 5 - Kowalski 6
With special ringside enforcer - Bobo Brazil Ivan Koloff & Johnny Valentine vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens resulted in a draw via double DQ at 4:07. - Both teams were disqualified <snake eyes> when a wild brawl erupted and the referee was unable to regain control. Brazil made his presence known by refusing to allow Bockwinkel to enter the ring without a legal tag. Stevens started to argue and Koloff leveled him with a RUSSIAN SICKLE. Bockwinkel jumped into the ring to break up the cover and Valentine quickly followed, leading to absolute pandemonium. Bockwinkel was particularly unhappy, stating Brazil's jealousy prompted him to get involved without reasonable cause. He then baited Valentine by stating the LCW Universal Heavyweight Champion was afraid to put the title on the line against someone of his obvious talent. Valentine accepted the implied challenge. -- Tokens: Valentine 1 - Stevens 3

Bockwinkel baited the champ and he fell for it!!! Here are my predictions: Nick Bockwinkel for the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Ivan Koloff Harley Race & Larry Hennig - Winners advance to LCW Universal Tag Team Championship match. Red Bastien & The Crusher - Winners advance to LCW Universal Tag Team Championship match. Brass Knuckles match: Bull Curry Pampero Firpo Adrian Street Those are some bold picks, my friend... Business seems to be picking up and I'm having lots of fun with this Legends reboot... Introducing talent in real-life chronological order has provided a way to use every wrestler, even if it's just for a brief period of time. Would like to see Valentine hold onto the belt, but we all know Bockwinkel has a way of getting himself where he needs to be - Smartest man in the ring, and all that... Race & Hennig vs. Bastien & Crusher for the tag belts would be a superb technical match... Even though I'll secretly be rooting for Butcher & Mad Dog. Always appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Should have this show posted in a few hours (depending on how busy I am here at work)... Many thanks for staying tuned!

For Every Action Tour (card #10) 01.Mar.19 - Giant Center, Hershey, PA
ADRIAN STREET def. Tiger Conway Sr. via submission at 6:47. - Street finished Conway with a London Bridge leglock. After the match, Street tormented a group of fans at ringside by insulting their physical appearance. Johnny Saint arrived for his upcoming match and told Street to back off. Prancing up the runway, Street referred to himself as 'the fairest of them all' and told Saint that he was no daisy. -- Tokens: Conway 1
PAMPERO FIRPO def. Johnny Saint via count-out at 4:50. - Saint was counted out <snake eyes> after Firpo hit him with a running knee lift that sent him crashing into the metal ringside stairs. This highly anticipated match was the result of an brawl that took place between these two men on the last show. Saint tried to use his impessive technical skill to overcome Firpo's brutality, but fell short of the mark. Adrian Street stormed the ring after the bell and helped Firpo double team Saint until security arrived to halt the beatdown. Getting to his feet, Saint challenged Street to a match on the next show. -- Tokens: Firpo 1 - Saint 3
Brass Knuckles Match BULL CURRY (w/ Abdullah the Butcher) def. Bob Armstrong (w/ Angelo Poffo) via pinfall at 10:16. - Curry finished Armstrong with a SERIES OF PUNCHES. Both men were busted wide open by the end of this ferocious exchange. Armstrong tried to land a diving fist drop off the apron, but Abdullah caught him and slammed him onto the concrete floor. Poffo started trading blows with Abdullah while Curry leveled Armstrong with a chair smash to gain firm control of the match. It was announced that Poffo and Abdullah would face off in a Hardcore Street Fight on the next show and no one would be permitted at ringside. -- Tokens: Curry 4 - Armstrong 5

As a result, they will face the winners of the upcoming Harley Race & Larry Hennig vs. Jackie Fargo & Killer Kowalski match to crown the inaugural LCW Universal Tag Team Champions on the next show. -- Tokens: Butcher 1, Mad Dog 2
LCW Universal Tag Team Championship Qualifying Match HARLEY RACE & LARRY HENNIG def. Jackie Fargo & Killer Kowalski via pinfall at 3:53. - Race finished Kowalski with a PILEDRIVER. The heat between these two teams continued to build as Race and Hennig effectively cut the ring in half to isolate Kowalski and prevent Fargo from legally tagging into the match. Fargo managed to get Kowalski's foot onto the bottom rope in time to stop the count, but the referee failed to notice. This led to a heated dispute, but Hennig tossed Fargo out of the ring to the delight of the crowd. Race and Henng will meet Red Bastien and The Crusher on the next show for the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship. -- Tokens: Kowalski 2
IVAN KOLOFF def. Ray Stevens via pinfall at 8:38. - Koloff finished Stevens with a Russian backbreaker. A cheap shot allowed Stevens to gain the upper hand, but when he started to argue with the referee over what he perceived as a slow count, Koloff took advantage of the situation. The fans voiced their displeasure with Bockwinkel's cowardice while Valentine stared at his departing challenger in disbelief. -- Tokens: Bockwinkel 2 Johnny Valentine retained the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship for a successful version two title defense.

Shame the Bock/Valentine match ended how it did. Nice win by Red Crush. It was too bad that Bockwinkel couldn't hang in there, but I suspect the booking team still has big plans for the 'Smartest Wrestler Alive'... Only time will tell what trajectory he takes from here. Although I wanted to see Race & Hennig face off against the Vachons to crown my inaugural tag champs, there is no denying the compatibility of Bastien & The Crusher... At first, it was kinda difficult to steer away from the natural pairing of the Flying Redheads... But, the dice just seemed to lead me in this direction... Gotta go with the flow, my friend... And that's the TRUTH!
