hang in the foggy air, this is the era of...." GANGSTERS & GRAPPLERS! MEET "BIG TUT" BARKOLLI! "It has been rumored that Mr. Barkolli got his nickname from possibly funding the excavation of King Tut back in '23 however some inside
Howard Carter's camp are skeptical of just how much money he really put into the cause. Heading back state side, BIG TUT began a
heated one up mans ship with rival gangster LITTLE ZEUS from Detroit. Barkolli loves sports, namely Boxing but especially pro wrestling
and has helped secretly fund promoter Art Caylins AMERICAN WRESTLNG CIRCUIT! But how long till he butts in on Promoter Caylins duties
and wants to take control of the AWC!"

* RADIO CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT: Gorgeous George (d) Tiger Conway Sr. via "Foreign Object" - " It was a packed Madison square Garden as a 14 man world title tournament took place to crown the first AWC Champion!
The field of talent on display tonight was remarkable Not too mention Gorgeous George captured the vacant WOLRD RADIO
CHAMPIONSHIP from Tiger Conway in the early bout of the evening. In the main event of the tournament finals saw bitter
and hated rivals LOU THESZ take on the NATURE BOY BUDDY ROGERS. The match was a classic for all times but in the end one
man came out as the WORLD CHAMPION and it was LOU THESZ! Promoter ART CAYLINS awarded THESZ with the title belt and big
prize purse for his herculean efforts on this night." Chicago at the end of the month. "BIG TUT"'s charge The Sicilian is set to challenge Thesz for the crown. The Short, cigarette
smoking Zeus tells his stooge to get on the horn and make contact with his inside man to foul up Tut's boy or the Champ if needed." |

* Bobo Brazil (d) Stanley Harper via "Coco Butt"
* MAIN EVENT: (WORLD CHAMPION)Lou Thesz (d) The Sicilian Lou Albano via "Thesz Press" - It was a near packed Chicago Coliseum on this night as Tiger Conway Sr defeated his opponent with a devastating Flying dropkick that near took the head off Mr. Peelman! Tiger is set to challenge Gorgeous George for his RADIO WORLD TITLE BELT at the night fight card via a special radio broadcast in Pittsburg in the coming months. BOBO BRAZIL knocked off "Gentleman" Stanley Harper with his patented Coco Headbutt, as he moves up the rankings in the circuit. In the main event of the evening, The world champion LOU THESZ soundly defeated The Sicilian Lou Albano, though there was some controversy as a young wrestler ran to ringside and grabbed at Albano's boot causing the end of the match for the Sicilian. Police flatfoots had to take the young playboy away to the back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BEHIND THE SCENES... Inside a smoke filled back room of the Chicago Coliseum, the two police flatfoots beat up the young blond haired kid!
The door to the room busts open as three men enter the room, Little Zeus and his men take hold of the kid as Zeus hands
the coppers a stack of fifty dollar bills. The crooked cops take the bribes and leave. You did real good Bobby! I'm hearing
BIG TUT BROKOLLI is really mad that his Albano didn't win. Come on we gotta plan for that Radio Special...I got ideas." NEXT: "AWC SPECIAL RADIO FIGHT CARD!" |

the crowd. Lastly in the main event of the evening, The WORLD RADIO CHAMPION GORGEOUS GEORGE retained his precious title belt versus TIGER CONWAY SR,
although controversy surrounded the ending to the bout (with George using Gorgia Pins handed by Miss Cherri Dupree to gain the tainted victory). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Behind the scenes... - In the thick foggy air just behind the Pittsburg arena, close to a back alleyway two heavy toughs rough up LOU THESZ! A third man enters the area. "Looks like your gonna miss that interview with that fatso promoter Caylin eh Lou?" It don't matter cause when Little Zeus calls ya' people had better answer, and from here on out, so long as your the WORLD CHAMP I'm gonna take a percentage of your prize winnings, let's be fair and make it fifty-fifty. Make sure not to get lazy in the ring cause I'll know buddy boy, will see ya around Thesz!--After several minutes Thesz picks himself up and walks away to the train station his head filled with revenge! MEANTIME high above in an abandoned building Big Tut watched these events unfold with a pair of binoculars He whispers to one of his flunkies, "Eddy you go contact Albino! Tell him I gotta' job lined up for him...That Little Zeus is gonna pay for knocking around MY world Champion!" |

AWC CARD #4...AMERICAN WRESTLING CIRCUIT...YEAR 1...FROM: THE OLYMPIC AUDITORIUM, L.A., CAL, USA * Playboy Bobby Heenan (d) Maul Mason via "Knee Drop" * Fred Blassie (d) Archie Nolan via "Pin w/ tights" * MAIN EVENT: Jonny Valentine (d) Buddy Rogers via "Atomic Skull Crusher" It was another packed house in the Olympic Auditorium as ring announcer ART CAYLIN made the nights introductions. In the opening bout
saw young BOBBY HEENAN get the slimmest victories over journeyman Maul Mason, however after the match saw an unidentified man in the
crowd STAB Playboy in his side while leaving to the back locker rooms! Police have yet to find the culprit. CLASSIE FRED BLASSIE beat
his opponent in a technical affair then then degenerated (mostly him using illegal maneuvers!). Blassie demanded management to book him
on the NEXT big fight card next month in DALLAS at the SPORTATORIUM versus Johnny Valentine! Speaking of which, in the vibrant main
event, saw two stalwart greats battled intensely but saw Buddy Rogers fall again to the three count versus favorite JOHNNY VALENTINE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BEHIND THE SCENES... The young Playboy BOBBY HEENAN is stretchered out on a gurney into a slender white ambulance as reporters buzz around following
the automobile, as the building dies down a pair of echoing footsteps approach the back area showers to a sad and deep in thought
BUDDY ROGERS. "Cheer up Nature boy, it could be worse...that could have been YOU getting stabbed that bad. HEY I know your still
smarting over the loss ta' VALENTINE. If you want a prayer ta' make it at all at the BIG TICKET EVENT at MSG in 2 months, use these
in your next bout in DALLAS! (BIG TUT hands Rogers a pair of iron cast BRASS KNUCKLES!!)--"Geez BROKOLLI, These things are illegal in
nearly all the states! The Athletic commission would string me up if I get caught with these!" "If you want a rematch for the world
crown against your friend Thesz, you may want to keep em'...for good luck that is". BIG TUT leaves the Nature Boy to ponder this
