You know me - I can't resist the endless "what if" possibilities of all of these product lines smashed together. Blows my mind apart. The Terrible Trio have their own suite here and it's definitely no questions asked when it comes to...well you know 😊 we didn't see anything... Very glad that Gotch and Hackenschmidt seem like an interesting pair. More to follow on how that pairing came about for this fed. You're aewsome - but I bet you you already knew that! |

Card #2 will be posting Monday night at 8pm EST - however due to some recent inspiration, I am going to start making a companion post Thursday nights at 8pm. (These "timed" posts helps keep me on the rails and focused). I was pulling for Frank Gotch personally however Murdok was just to much of a well oiled machine for him in this bout for sure. The Man With No Name will have his hands full when it comes to picking number one contenders - hopefully he won't start a riot or anything. A thousand thanks for being a part of this my man! |

End of Days and The Basilisk are going to be the tag team to beat. I call future champions! Evenin brother Crossbones! They are one hell of a team. (Although there are still a lot of doozies on the roster). But I hear ya - If they get on a roll - who could stop them? You've gotta think that they are solid contenders for the inaugural title matches (especially considering who they beat right?). In catching up on your fed from earlier today I felt inspired by your "Colby Vignette" in the early stages. When I was slowly thinking about this idea (and it was a long broken timeline) - I had many thoughts as to how to present and what to present). As a result - there will be a weekly companion post for this fed targeted for Thursday nights at 8pm. I'm not sure it's going to be every week but I'm going to play this "second post" by ear. Rock on with your bad self! |

EoD & Basilisk... For the love of all that's unholy in the universe! Possibly the only pairing that could make two guys like Andre & The Sheik think twice about stepping into the ring. And of course, I'm looking forward to the next show... You know why, my brotha... AJ all the way! PHENOMENAL! Evenin brother Pariah! No doubts about it - two monsters. Going to try to start posting some companion information Thursday nights at 8pm EST. The main idea behind this fed started with something that Quinton Tarantino said. (Did I spell that right?). He said that The Good, The Bad & The Ugly was his favorite movie of all time. I had never seen it - but if he said this was a good movie - then it had to be - thought me. I saw it and it blew me away. These "Thursday posts" are in two parts. The first is presented out of order (it's really out of orders - actually) and the second part takes place in the present. I hope these are diggable. Wasn't going to try these - but what the hell. Let's see how it goes. Muchas Gracias Amigo! |

A lot of great bouts! End of Days was just a monster back in the day but the eighth wonder of the world isn't anything to sneeze at! Solid card...while I'm here, I will drop in my predics for the next card: 1. Road Warrior Animal 2. (The Immaculate Nightmare) - Kenny Omega & Kevin Steen 3. Thrash 4. Chaos Supreme 5. (A Cast of Iron) - Frank Gotch & George Hackenschmidt 6. Sami Callihan 7. A.J. Styles Evenin Thomas (TK)! I hear that - for real. I was greatful with how that first card fell in place so far as who was wrestling who - some big names in there across all of the product lines. That's one thing that I'm really hoping for - some real dream match ups not to mention once we get down the line championship bouts & reigns. I like those picks too. Particularly Gotch/Hack & Styles. Thanks for being a part of this bro! 8pm tonight starts a possible recurring weekly post to the 8pm Monday main event. |

Howdy folks. Having absolutely loved the comments and apparent enjoyment (which is awesome!) I was stricken by the fact that a few of the wrestlers/teams from Card 1 were mentioned a few times more than others.
With that - I thought that I would dust off some ideas that I originally had jotted down and would start a semi regular (if not regularly weekly) companion post to Monday nights GBU cards...
So What's The Real Deal? - Volume 1 :

Adam Cole (2020) - A.J. and I are on to better things...and our team is called Phenomenal BAY BAY...and this place...is totally ours for the taking...they won't know what hit them...Britt needs a new pair of everything...in all colors...
Andre the Giant (1992) - I'm tired of being passed over for title shots all of the time...and The Sheik is a man who definitely knows...how to win...at any costs...and by any means necessary...this is...the partner for me...
End of Days (2130) - (Ghena) - I'm not going to let you die like this...a victim of Sur & Bex's will...I know a man...whose been looking for you...and I have found you one hell...of a partner...but I need you to get up...my friend...
Frank Gotch (1913) - I wasn't buying any of this shit at all...until this Man With No Name showed me on that...weird...magic little machine...he has...what was soon going to happen to me...to hell with that son...
George Hackenschmidt (1910) - I can't believe this...I was in training for my upcoming Comisky Park bout with Frank Gotch...and then there he was...with that mystery man and offer...Frank Gotch definitely...has my back...
Murdok (2120) - They should hand myself and Godsend all of the titles now...but as sure as I am that we will win...I don't completely trust Godsend...have to keep an extra eye open...so there isn't more here...than meets the eye...
The Basilisk (2136) - (Ghena peering into a forested cage with bones strewn about) - I've seen enough...I'll take him...there's only one man that I know that can control him...and will care for this fellow...damaged soul...
The Original Sheik (1969) - (The Man With No Name as he points to a blood splattered wall) - Whose blood is that?...The Princess Saleema (as The Sheik shruggs his shoulders) - Not important...you have take him...right now...

Blondie (lighting his cigar and saying to Tuco) - Relax...

Blondie (exhales smoke) - We are...

The Man With No Name (smiles slightly) - In a manner of speaking...

Angel Eyes (to Tuco) - Relax...
Blondie (to The Man With No Name) - That's what I figured...
Tuco (to Blondie) - What...what you figured?...
The Man With No Name (to Tuco) - Relax...
Tuco (to Blondie...nervously pointing to the lit cigar in Blondie's mouth) - Can I have...some of that?...
(Blondie takes a deep puff...and exhales an obscene amount of smoke in Tuco's face...as Angel Eyes emits a deep laugh...)

I'm proud of myself - I lasted a whole card LOL. I'm stoked you dug it me bro. I actually had multiple thoughts with this fed. One of them was to originally post (along with the names on the rosters), brief telling of the reasons/motives/circumstances surrounding the signings made by The Man With No Name. I wasn't going to go down that road until I saw the feedback from my fellow promoters. I saw that if I just so happened to post those particular wrestlers backgrounds that it might embody a Good/Bad/Ugly cross section of wrestlers. As well as tell their stories in as concise a way as possible. Each wrestler in The GBU will eventually have their initial story told. Telling these out of order seemed like a different approach for me so I tried it. Now the dialogue section I'm hoping will drive the overall narrative (and smaller group narratives) forward. Always appreciate you're input and continuing support my friend. P.S. I wait with baited breath re: The Terrible Trio 😊 |
