Solaris appeared and declared that the fed was not quite balanced. Two new teams appeared. On one side, the Flying Titans of Lord Nexus (87 alternate) and Titan Glory. In their universe, Lord Nexus is the nephew of the original Lord Nexus. He had planned on using a different moniker until his uncle and cousin convinced him to continue the tradition. Payback suffered severe injuries and had to retire leading them to needing a new leader. On the other side, a group of military wrestlers appeared. Daimyo, Thraxx and Tanck. In their universe, the Monolith experiment was a failure as the combination of Cleansing and Transevolving had an unexpected side effect. Zygon and Thraxx had a falling out shortly and Thraxx returned to his military roots. He rescued Tanck from the Greatest Show and convinced Daimyo that he would fit into the group as well.
In non tournament action Rhea upset Swarm with the Serpent's Catapult. In a shocking event, Swarm was just dominated here by Rhea who gave him no quarter. Finally she lifted up Swarm and finished him off.
Cosmos defeated Honos with the Masterlock. Cosmos issued an open challenge. Honos immediately accepted. Cosmos dominated most of the match as Honos would counter only for Cosmos to counter and counter and finally Honos passed out in the Masterlock.
Tag Tournament 1st Round Takeover beat The Olympians when Mensar got a quick pin on Actagon with the Star Destroyer. Tyranny and Proteus never got into the match as Mensar simply quickly dominated Actagon and then hit a Star Destroyer for the victory.
In a bloodbath Titan Glory took down The Mercenaries when Reckless pinned Tongsoon after a top rope hurricanrana. This was a barn burner and though The Mercenaries looked good, the Titans were just a little better and would not stay down. Eventually, Reckless managed to hit the rana and Tristan dropkicked Punisher to the floor to stop a pin save.
The Gladiators edged Sixth Law when Torment pinned Destructon after an Aethran Powerbomb. This was a war and both teams battered each other. Destrcton and Ultra however never could manage to hit a finsher and the Gladiators took advantage before a powerbomb by Torment scored the three count.
Twin Telepathy upset Desolation Factor when Warden used Invincible on Ruin. The upset was less the win over the giant team and more that they dominated most of the match. Rack and Ruin did nearly take it after Racked and Ruined but Warden made a pin save. From there though Cool and Warden just started dominating the match and Rack and Ruin had trouble stopping them until Head Bangers followed by Invincible finished Ruin.

Great to see a Titan team in the mix... And very cool that Reckless & Tristan were able to defeat the Mercs to advance to the next round of the tag tournament... Fun stuff!

Mornin TTX me bro! Really cool to see Reckless and Tristan in action and with the win. Will have to research Solaris more because I'm not really to savvy with him. Also dug the Cosmos victory - especially masterlock style. In the words of Pariah - I'm buying what you're selling my friend. Thank you for taking us to Kronos brother!

Thanks for the comments, Bri and Pariah. It's been a lot of fun and though Christmas is keeping me busy, I'm looking forward to rolling the dice again this week.
Singles Tournament Part 1
Solitude bested Lord Nexus with the Spike Piledriver. Lord Nexus gave it a good go but Solitude was just too much in the end as he battered down Nexus and finally a Spike Piledriver finished things off.
Nikolai handled Daimyo after a pair of Curb Stomps.Daimyo was overwhelmed by the leader of the Survivors. Nikolai battered him around the ring for a while before a Survivor Slashing set up a Curb Stomp. Daimyo managed to escape but Nikolai simply delivered a second and scored the victory.
Pegasus finished off a game Honos with Wings of Pegasus. Honos battled hard and nearly pulled off the upset but in the end, Pegasus just had too much going for him and he trapped Honos with Wings of Pegasus to score the victory.
Spike pinned Density with the Megadestroyer. Density frustrated Spike for a bit but once Spike managed to hit the Megadestroyer it was all over. After the match, Infinity-plex attacked a prone Density until Infinity made the save.
Infinity-plex finally put down Avalanche with the Infinity Superplex. While Infinity stood at ringside, it really took Infinity-plex off his game and Avalanche came very close to pulling the upset a couple of times. Finally, Infinity-plex managed to gain control and dropped the big man with his Superplex and he took the three count. Infinity left without incident.
Infinity held off Olympia with the Stability Plex. Olympia hung in there for age and frustrated Infinity but he never put the superstar in danger as Infinity just took a while to figure an opening and once he did, he hit the Infinity Plex. Olympia raised his shoulder one moment too late as Jupiter chuckled from the back.
Tauran edged Bad Dude with the Vampire Blood Drop. It looked like Bad Dude might have had it after using Meet Arsenal as he had toughed out many Tauran hits but as he went to put his chain away, some blood fell into Tauran's mouth reinvigorating him and from there Tauran used a powerful knee blast and then the Blood Drop for the pin as Bad Dude just seemed to cackle despite it all.
Jupiter narrowly avoided an upset by Rune Larrs winning with the Champion Super Drop. While Olympia watched his brother, Jupiter just could not seem to concentrate for the longest time. Rune Larrs took advantage of it by nearly taking the upset many times. It looked like Jupiter might fall but somehow he managed to come through in the end hitting the Champion Super Drop to win.

Stoked that Vampire Tauran was able to send Bad Dude packing... Infinity and Infinity-Plex are no doubt the favorites, but I'm hoping a few good upsets will level out the playing field... Fun stuff!

Psyclone edged Prodigy with the Hardcore Titan Drop (+3). Prodigy should have had the match won but a late Krakan distraction turned the tide and that allowed Psyclone who had failed his finisher twice before to finally lift Prodigy into it and then cover for the winning pin.
In a revenge match, Swarm got his revenge on Rhea for an earlier defeat quickly pounding her down and finishing her with the Venomous Stinger. Swarm was angry as Rhea had dominated him in their previous match so he was all business here and Rhea could do nothing to keep up with him. He quickly dropped her with a backbreaker before applying the Venomous Stinger. Rhea did not respond and Swarm took the victory.
Avenging Force stomped Vyper with Alpha Force. Avenging Force was all business here and Vyper simply could not keep up. Avenging Force quickly clamped on his finisher and Vyper was down for the count.
Nightmare finished off Bobby Lee with the Dark Night. Bobby Lee got an early advantage but Nightmare's shadowy skills were just too much in the end and Dark Night took the match.
Cupid knocked off Blazing Holocaust with Cupid's Arrow. Cupid was not expected to beat Blazing Holocaust and a few times he seemed like he was going down for the count but somehow he survived it all and came back to score the victory.
Cosmos squashed Thraxx after a Gamesmaster DDT. Thraxx did hold control for a bit but when he attempted a top rope shouder block, Cosmos caught him and dropped him with a superplex. Cosmos then locked on the Masterlock but Thraxx grabbed the ropes. Undeterred, Cosmos hit the DDT and covered for the victory.
Tanck edged True Blue with Tancked. This was a fun battle and both wrestlers had chances to win. Tanck took advantage of True Blue missing a dive from the top and then hitting Tancked. It was close but he held his opponent down for the win.
Raven overcame Thriller with Dethroning. Thriller gave Raven a really good challenge and nearly pulled off the upset a few times. Eventually, Raven managed to take control. It took a couple tries, but finally a Dethroning took Thriller down and Raven advanced in the tournament.

Mixed the two tag tournament matches to break things up a bit.
Raven came back to finish off Solitude with Dethroning. This was a great match as Solitude dominated early but Raven managed a key reversal and from there he simply wore down Solitude until Dethroning finally finished things off.
In an amazing brawl, Infinity squeezed past Psyclone with the Infinity Grip (+3). For a long while it looked like Psyclone was going to grab the upset but Infinity would not stay down. Eventually, he managed to grab a timely reverse power cauda gave Infinity control before clamping on the Grip causing Psyclone to pass out.
Infinity-plex avoided an upset by Nikolai finally using the Instability Grip to put Nikolai down. Nikolai hit two straight Curb Stomps but somehow Infinity-plex managed to survive them. At another point, Infinity-plex hit three straight Infinity Superplexes from three different corners. Eventually, Infinity-plex grabbed on the Instability Grip and Rack and Ruin stopped Bobby Lee and Thriller from getting involved.
Avenging Force put away Tanck with Alpha Force. This was short as Avenging Force toyed with Tanck before using his finisher.
Twin Telepathy bested Takeover when Warden used Invincible on Tyranny after Mensar accidentally clotheslined his partner. This was a war. Mensar dominated for quite a bit but eventually was forced out after a couple double teams. Tyranny picked up the slack for a bit but Warden managed to tag Cool and they hit Parallel Dimensions. Mensar tried to make the save but that went awry allowing Warden to dive on to Tyranny for the three count.
In a long battle, Spike finally got Tauran down with the Megadestroyer. This was quite the battle as Tauran dominated for a while especially with the Blood Super Drop but Spike would not stay down before the Aethran star managed to catch Tauran with the Head Rammer and then Megadestroyer.
Pegasus squashed Cupid with Wings of Pegasus. Cupid just could not keep up with the more athletic Pegasus here. He gave it his best shot but eventually Pegasus hit the Wings for the win.
The Gladiators edged Titan Glory with the Gladiator Piledriver on Tristan. This was surprisingly close as Titan Glory dominated early but the Gladiators would not stay down. Eventually Torment managed to overpower Reckless. Tristan managed to get in but was quickly taken down and the Piledriver finished things.
Jupiter bested Swarm after The Overmen distracted the referee allowing Olympia to use a Champion Super Drop and put Jupiter's arm on top. This went back and forth as Swarm hit an early Venomous Stinger to set the tone but in the end, Jupiter's brothers saved him after another before Olympia's interference spelled the difference. After the match, Olympia bragged not only was he the Master of the Gordian Knot but also the Champion Super Drop. Jupiter just glared.
Cosmos crushed Nightmare with the Masterlock. Cosmos basically dominated the entire match and Nightmare could do nothing to fight back. Eventually a Gamesmaster DDT set up the Masterlock and Nightmare could not escape and was forced to tap.
