Thank you for the Thumbs Up on_the_edge , Justin Case , and paul ! I've updated yesterday's post now that my image host is up and running again, and so here is today's action as well:   KRONOS Battle Lines Brand / KRONOS CARD #138
There was someone or something inside the ring as the night started. Mandrill Gorog was at the top of the entrance ramp and had this to say:
"You wanted proof of transevolved wrestlers? I give you --
 --SKAR KING!"
The lights came up and the fearsome ape was ready to pound some heads into the ground!
Out from the locker room stepped poor Red Talon. He was being fed to the big ape for a squash match! The Skar King destroyed poor Talon in just a few seconds, then after the "match", Skar King GREW to over 15 feet tall! The crowd was amazed at the now-giant ape!
"See? There is no stopping me now! Skar King is the wave of the future, and Kronos will tremble at his might! Wait till the Pay-Per-View! It'll be one... heck of a show!"
With that, Skar King vanished into thin air, and all that was left was Mandrill's cackle as he went back to the locker room...Purge VS Big Daddy Kash Kash could not stop the onslaught of Purge's attack, and it was lights out for Kash in the first bout. Purge won with the Finisher - BORDER PATROL in a time of 5:24. #1 CONTENDERS FOR THE UNIVERSAL TAG BELTS Dreggs & Warden (w/Destructon 3000) VS Massacre & Paralyze Dreggs was taking an awful beating, so he got himself DQ'ed to ease the pain in this one. Massacre & Paralyze won when Dreggs was disqualifed against Paralyze, thus Massacre & Paralyze receive a Title Bout against the Kronos Tag Team Champions (their fellow Gladiators) at the PPV! Mace VS Big Superstar Obviously upset over the last bout with his teammates, Mace got himself DQ'ed in this one as well. Big Superstar won when Mace was disqualified in a time of 1:59. #1 CONTENDER FOR THE KRONOS VICTORY BELT Cosmos VS Paragon Some clever moves led to a fairly quick win for Paragon here, as Cosmos seemed ill-prepared. Paragon won with his Finisher - THE BIG TIME in a time of 2:42, thus Paragon receives a Title Bout at the Kronos Victory Champion at the PPV! Actagon VS Blazing Skull Getting a taste of his own medicine, Actagon was injured after winning here by DQ. Actagon won when Blazing Skull was disqualified in a time of 9:50, and Actagon was injured for FOUR fight cards, with Blazing Skull getting a Suspension ruling soon! #1 CONTENDER FOR THE KRONOS HEAVYYWEIGHT BELT Storm VS Sectarian (w/M.Gorog) Ignoring the ref's call to break, Sectarian was DQ'ed to give Storm the victory in this one. Storm won when Sectarian was disqualified in a time of 2:36, thus Storm receives a Title Bout against the Kronos Heavyweight Champion at the PPV! BL Kronos Cage Wars Champion Raven VS Doomsayer - TITLE BOUT Although Doomsayer seemed to have the match in hand, Raven made a good comeback to win here. Raven won with a WAR Gun in a time of 5:19, thus Raven retained the Kronos Cage Wars Belt! Totalis VS Turmoil (w/Thrash) - Brand Cross-over Turmoil looked a bit lost since he was not in a tag match, so Totalis got the victory in this one. Totalis won with his Finisher - FINAL ROUND in a time of 6:40. BL Kronos Victory Champion Kill Prey VS Big Diamond - TITLE BOUT When it got to be too much for The Bad Guy, he got himself DQ'ed to end the match. Kill Prey won when Diamond was disqualified in a time of 7:28, thus Kill Prey retained the Kronos Victory Belt! Cupid VS Rush - TITAN DEATH In a match where it was obvious Rush would win, it only took a few minutes for this to happen here. Rush won with his Finisher - ADRENALINE RUSH in a time of 6:06. BL Kronos Heavyweight Champion Mensar Synistarr VS Proteus (w/Solaris) - TITLE BOUT A good bout here, but Proteus could not find a winning combination so Mensar squeaked through with a win. Mensar Synistarr won with a War Machine in a time of 8:52, thus Mensar retained the Kronos Heavyweight Belt! On the giant videoscreen was the instantly recognizable face of --
 -- SUPERMAN!

Skar King sounds scary. How is anyone, even a 7-footer, going to handle a man 15 foot tall?
I just hope that whatever Dark Menace is spreading around the multiverse is not just some rare Legos from his collection. That would be a letdown, but I do not think that is the case here.

I have contacted the authorities here on Kronos, and they have issued an arrest warrant with YOUR name on it! You will be arrested and thrown off Kronos for good, so don't think you will even make it to the first Pay-Per-View!
"Enjoy it while it lasts, D.M.! It's all coming to an end! Your fate... is sealed!!"
With that, Magnus stormed back to the locker room, and the night's matches got underway...Battering Ram VS Peacemaker This was a good match for Ram, as he pretty much kept control of the match and won the first bout. Battering Ram won with his Finisher - BATTERING RAM in a time of 4:50. Warden VS Encubus - Brand Cross-Over Fearing he would be outmatched, Encubus ended this by striking the ref and was DQ'ed here. Warden won when Encubus was disqualified in a time of just 0:58! #1 CONTENDERS FOR GEMINI TAG BELTS Captain Crossbones & Totalis VS Thraxx & Zygon It was a fairly easy match for Zygon, as he only used two moves before getting the win this time. Thraxx & Zygon won when Zygon used his Finisher - TRI-CLAW against Captain Crossbones in a time of 4:07, thus Thraxx & Zygon receive a Title Bout against the Gemini Tag Champs at the PPV! Badger VS Mechanos This was over before it began, as Badger was in trouble early and got himself DQ'ed to end this one. Mechanos won when Badger was disqualified in a time of 2:16. #1 CONTENDER FOR ARIES INTER-PLANETARY BELT Bex VS Muss It was a good bout for Bex, as Muss showed little offense this time around. Bex won with his Finisher - MORTAL MUTILATION in a time of 5:59, thus Bex receives a Title Bout against the Aries Inter-Planetary Champ at the PPV! Jupiter & Pegasus VS Ace of Diamonds & Exo-Knight A good bout with plenty of action, then Ace put an end to it and came away with a victory for his team. Ace of Diamonds & Exo-Knight won when Ace used a Diamond Shatter against Jupiter in a time of 8:43. #1 CONTENDER FOR ZODIAC HEAVYWEIGHT BELT Dreadnaught VS Apex A surprisingly quick bout, as Apex was defeated and looked shocked after the loss. Dreadnaught won with Heavy Artilery in a time of 1:23, thus Dreadnaught receives a Title Bout against the Zodiac Heavyweight Champ at the PPV! Valour VS The Bomb - PIN ANYWHERE Once Valour got on a roll, there was no stopping him as he steamrolled over The Bomb in this one. Valour won with his Finisher - VIOLENT OUTBURST in a time of 7:08. ToC Grudge Master Champ Bloody Marry VS Synthron - TITLE BOUT (Bullwhip) A back-and-forth bout here, with Bloody Marry overcoming a tough hill to climb and managing a win. Bloody Marry won with a Finisher - UNHOLY MATRIMONY in a time of 9:32, thus Bloody Marry retained the Grudge Master Belt! The final video played out. This time, it was a video that featured a familiar face from wrestling. It was --

Hi! Thank you for the support, Justin Case , on_the_edge , Crimson Cross , and paul ! Here it is, the moment you've been waiting for:  KRONOS Card #140-A: THE NAME OF THE GAME 2 PPV! 
"What are you doing, Dark Menace," Mandrill Gorog said in a matter-of-fact way, not posing the words as a question. "What on Kronos are you doing. Yeah, so you have these boxes. So what? I'm I supposed to be scared?"
"You don't have the Infinity Glove anymore, I made sure it's still in a safe place, along with the Infinity Gems. Well, I have had enough of this! Time to play your hand, Dark Menace! The Cubes are in a safe place, and you won't be able to get your greedy little hands on them!"
Just then, from behind the back rows all around the arena, spotlights appeared and there stood the nine beings that the Dark Menace had been contacting, each with a box in front of them.
"Yeah, yeah," Mandrill uttered. "Let's get this over with..."
Each of the nine opened their boxes at the same time. These boxes contained the Bajoran "Orbs" (more info HERE), and it was only once the boxes were opened that Mandrill realized what was going to happen!
Mandrill's eyes grew wide (ala his wide-eyed playing card art), and he yelled an epic "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
The Orbs resonated together and the Cubes were manifested, appearing above Mandrill's head! As the "nooo" still echoed in the arena, the light from the forces inside the Cubes slowly flickered out, until the Cubes were just pieces of glass, with no power inside them...
"But... but I was going to create an army of unstoppable atomic super-apes. I was going to turn every living being into an ape, and then I would truly be the Prime Colonizer...," Mandrill muttered as he picked up the now-useless glass cubes before him.
Tapping the cubes together, and then harder, the cubes shattered. Mandrill was defeated, and the nine beings returned the Orbs back to their boxes and simply disappeared.
Stunned, Mandrill looked up. The tears were ready to flow, but then --
"Do not worry, my friend..." It was --
 -- MAGNUS COLBY!
Magnus had this to say, "I have some good news for you, Mandrill: The Dark Menace has been placed under arrest, and he will PAY for what he did to you just now. Don't fret. Wait till the end of the Pay-Per-View, and you will have your revenge... and so will I, for that matter! Hahahaha!"
With that, Mandrill kicked at the dust on the floor that had been the Cubes, and slowly walked back to the locker room. What will Magnus Colby do now that The Dark Menace is in custody? STAY TUNED!!Captain Crossbones VS The Bomb A wild way to start off the PPV, as both wrestlers were DQ'ed in the first bout. This ended in a Double-Disqualification in a time of 8:15. BL Kronos Tag Team Champions Rush & Turmoil VS Massacre & Paralyze - TITLE BOUT Proving who the better Gladiators are, Paralyze took it to his teammates and got the win and the Belts here! Massacre & Paralyze won when Paralyze used his tag Finisher - TEAM PARALYSIS against Turmoil in a time of 2:32, thus Massacre & Paralyze are the NEW Kronos Tag Team Champions for the first time!! Dreggs VS Doomsayer (w/M.Gorog) When all seemed lost, Doomsayer surprised his foe with a quick move that got him the victory this time. Doomsayer won with a Spinning Spinebuster in a time of 11:06. BL Gemini Tag Team Champions Encubus & Helsin VS Thraxx & Zygon - TITLE BOUT Helsin struggled and could not regain his composure, as Zygon got the win and the Belts for his team here. Thraxx & Zygon won when Zygon used his Finisher - TRI-CLAW against Helsin in a time of 7:54, thus Thraxx & Zygon are the NEW Gemini Tag Team Champions for the first time!! Pegasus VS Ace of Diamonds (w/M.Colby) Although Ace was able to defend against Pegasus' offense, he did not last long and Pegasus got the win. Pegasus won with his Finisher - WINGS OF PEGASUS in a time of 4:43. BL Kronos Victory Champion Kill Prey VS Paragon - TITLE BOUT Paragon put up a good fight, but Kill Prey had a flawless gameplan and got the victory in this one. Kill Prey won with his Finisher - GO FOR THE KILL in a time of 8:17, thus Kill Prey retained the Kronos Victory Belt! Bounty Hunter (w/R.Guile) VS Big Diamond A solid bout here, with Bounty Hunter gaining the advantage once Guile interfered to give him the win. Bounty Hunter won with his Finisher - AMBUSH! in a time of 6:35. ToC Aries Inter-Planetary Champion Patch VS Bex - TITLE BOUT Patch was in trouble early as Bex threw him pillar-to-post, and Bex went on to win the bout and the Belt! Bex won with a Pain of Bex in a time of 8:21, thus Bex is the NEW Aries Inter-Planetary Champion for the second time!! Jupiter VS Mechanos (w/M.Colby) An easy bout for Mechanos, as Jupiter was low-energy throughout the bout this time. Mechanos won with an Alchemist Energy Grip in a time of 2:55. BL Kronos Heavyweight Champion Mensar Synistarr VS Storm - TITLE BOUT A very fine seesaw bout here, with Mensar able to capitalize on Storm's mistake and take home the win in this one. Mensar Synistarr won with his Finisher - STAR DESTROYER in a time of 14:28, thus Mensar retained the Kronos Heavyweight Belt! Mace VS Sectarian - HYDRA LUMBERJACK It was Mace that got the win by a constant barrage of offense that left Sectarian in no shape to fight back. Mace won with a Superplex in a time of 10:14. ToC Zodiac Heavyweight Champion Infinity VS Dreadnaught - TITLE BOUT A few pin attempts was all that Dreadnaught could muster before Infinity took over and got the victory. Infinity won with his Finisher - INFINITY GRIP in a time of 10:09, thus Infinity retained the the Zodiac Heavyweight Belt! 
"Before you do what you're going to do, Colby," The Dark Menace said, "don't think I have forgotten that you attempted to MURDER me right there in the very same arena you are standing in right now."
Colby smirked. None of this was of any importance to him, at all. "Time for you to go, and good riddance!"
"Wait. Final word?"
Colby scoffed. "No. Your time is done."
The Dark Menace continued anyway, "You say that 'money' is the Name of the Game. Mandrill says that 'power' is. I have a word for you then... Nora, if you will do the honors?"
Nora handed Colby a small piece of paper. After opening it, Colby smiled. He smiled a very Grinchy smile.
"Toss me back in my cell, Colby. You will need time to think about what I wrote on that piece of paper," The Dark Menace said.
Slowly, reluctantly, Colby agreed. "All right. I will think about this till the upcoming Pay-Per-View. Until then --"
What is The Dark Menace's plan? What was the "word" he gave Colby? How will Mandrill bounce back after the latest set-back? All these questions (or at least a few) answered on the next PPV, the Knights of the Squared Circle #7 that will posted TOMORROW! Be here!!

Great PPV. Action and intrigue. Captain Crossbones and The Bomb are FAR from being over, I think. As far as the mysterious ending... What is The Dark Menace's plan? What was the "word" he gave Colby?It is SO obvious I feel silly even answering. Bird  |

KNIGHTS OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE #7 PAY-PER-VIEW! 
"Oh there you are, Mandrill! I was wondering what happened to you," Colby said.
Mandrill replied, "I thought we were going to take care of The Dark Menace in the ring. That's what you said we were going to do today when we talked last night."
"Didn't you get my text two hours ago?" Colby asked.
"Mandrill don't text," the Prime Colonizer responded.
"Well, get yourself outside! The Portal will open in an hour or so! I will even let you toss The Dark Menace out of Kronos..." The camera expanded to show a hooded figure in chains, kneeling before Colby.
Mandrill smiled. "Yeah, that'll work!" Mandrill then proceeded to walk out of the arena. Mandrill did not see Colby's face on the viewscreen, as Colby smiled and his eyes looked directly into the camera as the viewscreen faded...
Was Magnus Colby up to something? Will Mandrill be ready for him...?KRONOS CROWN TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1 Bex VS Mensar Synistarr This was a good bout for Bex but not for Mensar, as Bex was able to get the victory this time. Bex won with his Finisher - GROUND ZERO in a time of 4:37. Dreadnaught VS Apex - DEIMOS DOG COLLAR Off to a rocky start, Apex was able to recompose himself and got the victory this time. Apex won after using his Finisher - APEX OF GLORY in a time of 8:55. KRONOS CROWN TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1 Infinity VS Kill Prey Once the ref was knocked down, Infinity took over and it was not long before he got the win here. Colby whispered something to one of his many bodyguards as Mandrill approached.
Mandrill, taking precautions that Colby was about to turn against him, Mandrill carried a large gun that Krakan had given him a long time ago. There would be no "monkey business" if Mandrill could help it.
"Mandrill, I will let you shove The Dark Menace through the Portal! You can berate him verbally if you want. I've already done so, and I am a bit bored now, so it's your turn" Colby said with his hands on his hips.
Eyeing the hooded figure, then butting the top portion of the figure with the weapon he carried, the hooded figure let out a, "Hey, that hurt!"
Yes, it was the voice of The Dark Menace under the hood. All seemed as it should, for the moment at least.
Mandrill stepped closer and pushed a bit on the hooded figure. And then --
The hooded figure sprang to its feet and wrapped its arms around Mandrill! It was now clear that the deception was going to work, and work all too well!
"HEY!! Leggo!" is all that Mandrill could utter! Colby laughed and explained:
"What you see before you, you dirty ape, is one of The Collector's magnificent ROBOTS! It has you in a mechanical grip that no weapon can break, and this robot has three times your strength. Don't you see? Isn't it clear to you yet? Mandrill, YOU are the one that will be going through that Portal! And the word that the REAL Dark Menace had written on that piece of paper at the end of the last Pay-Per-View was...
'TEAMWORK'!"
With that, the robot bearhugging Mandrill took itself and Mandrill through the Portal! Buh-bye, Mandrill! The Dark Menace removed the bodyguard disguise he was in and stood next to Magnus Colby, both now with their arms raised in victory!
And thus, the PPV concluded!
What is in store now that Magnus Colby AND The Dark Menace are working together? What of The Guardian and Hellsinger? Those two have been very quiet lately! Where was Mandrill sent to, and will he be able to make it back to Kronos? And what of the Multi-Verse? Has everything been restored to the state it was BEFORE Mandrill obtained the Cosmic Cube?
These questions answered (mostly) in the next season of my Kronos Fed!
