Another great episode. I had a ton of fun listening to the 2088 chat - it brought back many memories. As I mentioned when you had me on, Bishop Hell was an early favorite and standout of mine. He captured the IP strap early on, had an epic run, and then bested Star Warrior for the Galaxian to become the first double champ. As for holiday cards, I have the Galactic Wars card every December in my GWF, Star Bash in July. I've done Halloween and New Year's shows before but not with the same consistency. Those are the mainstays - along with the Perennial, of course. For my legends fed, currently, I just ran "Christmas at the Kiel" and plan on making that a mainstay. But that's about it, actually. Nacho Berrera! Very cool addition. Always a big fan of the enhancement talent and was happy to hear about his reaction to being in the game. Always a pleasure to listen to you, gents. Already looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for listening and for the great compliments, Sam! You won't have to wait long for the next episode. It will hopefully drop in about 20 minutes or so.

Just a FYI: if you haven’t listened, The Creeper story alone is worth the listen.

Was able to catch the latest episode and this may be may favorite yet. Really enjoyed the breakdowns of each card and their mechanics as it made me get those original 2088 cards out and let them see light since probably sometime in the 90s. Few calls outs I had completely forgotten about or unaware of. 1) I never noticed Creepers arm being slightly smaller, in my minds eye he was just a mangled looking creature and that both his arms were twisted withered things. 2) Really interesting discussion on Spike and how several thought they reminded him of Sting. That's interesting as I always envisioned him as a face painted Nikita Koloff partner to his Aethran brethren the Road Warriors, I mean Gladiators. 3) I'm really surprised nobody discussed Mesmer's art. As a kid I always had a hard time rationalizing why this master of the occult was always coddling a cabbage. 4)Really enjoyed the discussion on Adam Blast and his whole arc and where he went as a character. And the X-Patriot is a pretty cool name, but as one we much prefer to say the quicker X-Pat so it feels a little less formal, but now that I say that in the wrestling context is pretty close to X-Pac... Also one last thing, now that I learned Stu is of Danish descent "Godnat amerika og god ferie" Okay, I'll take a swing at this....Goodnight America is (reasonably) obvious, and ferie is...holiday?? So, Goodnight America and happy holidays, or something to that effect? I'm sure I've butchered it! Yes, I am of Danish descent, so Denmark's a sweet spot for me. Will eventually get over and see my great-great grandparents' ancestral home, they came over to Minnesota in the latter part of the 19th century. Thanks so much for listening my friend, really happy to have you on board...cheap pop or not, I'll keep giving Denmark the love!

When I was young, my parents hosted a Danish student one year. It was quite interesting.

I finished listening to this episode today while playing out and posting results in my COTG fed.
As for the question of whether I play certain shows on holidays, the answer is yes for game time and no for real time. For example, in my LOW fed I have Survivor Series every year in game time on Thanksgiving the last Thursday of the month. But I play when I can so Survivor Series in real time could be on a random day in January or February.
Regarding the Bishop Hell controversy, Tom told me once when I was helping him at a a convention in Phoenix that a woman once demanded a refund from him due to the Bishop Hell character. In my color fed so far, Bishop Hell won the InterPlanetary Championship for 2 shows (#28-30) and he has also won Vegas Warfare 2089 but so far not the main ROV Championship as he failed to defeat Star Warrior.
Also, like Tim and Stu, I also briefly turned Mesmer heel which is unusual for me as for COTG I tend to mostly play by the book without any new storylines as my fed is very results driven.
Spike for me has also won Vega Warfare and he also has the record for longest reign as InterPlanetary Championship from Show #30-Show #41.
Also, my personal top 5 new LOW cards for 2020: 1) British Bulldogs, 2) Barbarian, 3) Adrian Adonis, 4) Baron Von Raschke, and 5) Fabulous Moolah.
Looking forward to the next episode.

Selvfølgelig forstår du dansk (and to be fair outside of a very confirmations, introductions and questions, that's the extent of my Danish)
