There are so many great sets created over the past 20 years, hard to pick a "greatest/best of" HOF!?

I would vote for Death Knight II, Varsity, Maxx Power, and Akuma the Ninja

Sam Luptak would be another one with great bootleg depth, two of which ended up in the GWF, Theatre of Pain.
One of the greatest "lost" bootleg collections I ever saw was by Stephen Share, who also created the original GWF Financial Planner system that got re-shared here some time ago. Sadly it was before the real rise of the Internet, much less of "bootleg sets" for wide release, and it was just ones he used in his own fed. But he did his own artwork and had some marvelously inventive characters and storylines.

I know at some point I befriended a promoter named Adam Skepaniak who ran an entire fed of bootlegs and I was like can I get some bootlegs and he sent me like 30 cards that all were really cool including previously mentioned Crow, Dogma and others. And in real nice cardstock and everything.
Not sure what happened to him or if any of his bootlegs have been mentioned.

While I do enjoy the ease of use the internet allows there was always something special about the giant stuffed envelopes from fellow promoters. Between his mail and the large full sheets Jamie would send mail day was often a very fun day.

Let’s see.
Dave Schaffer’s set especially Solar Hawk.
The updated Akuma & The Decimator were great IP tag champs for me.
Obviously Varsity & Sabre.
Kati, TOP and Halcon Oro (official along w V & S but still counts to me)
the nGo
Tex Remington & the other guy who was doing a backflip over the top rope in his art (revolutionary at the time).
I learned a lot about other boots when we did the GWFZ. Crow, Xandar? Name escapes me at the moment but he had an awesome look.
Ray Rivas did a tag team that was awesome too. Might have been the first boots I ever had.

Tex Remington is another favorite of mine. Used him quite a bit back when I used bootlegs. So many out there. I enjoyed Todd's Cardinal Sin back in the day too.

Another guy I though was ground breaking and had a lot of fun playing was el Pantera Negro. A Tim Dalton creation drawn by, I believe, Paul Barnes. Thanks Pete! Yes, Paul Barnes drew both El Pantera Negro and Tex Remington at his kitchen table before we went to see UFC #3 in Charlotte. Good to see Akuma mentioned prominently, as Steve Minskoff really got the bootleg ball rolling with that. Another fairly early bootleg I recall being a hot property was Crow, although I never had the original and have no clue who was behind it. Wait....you created El Pantera Negro??

Tex Remington's an all-time fave of mine, and has done well in my bootleg fed.
Solar Hawk is yet another of my all-time fave's, and is also a legend in my bootleg fed.
Akuma is gaining steam, especially with the latest color rendition.
Now, here's a name some of you may remember: The Sensational Sonny Owens, from Dale Blomquist's sets. Sonny is arguably the greatest wrestler in my bootleg fed's history, and was just a fun card, from the stats to the great drawing. Hope some of you managed to get ol' Sonny for your collections too!
