The NWA recently expanded when it recognized ECW as a new affiliate and territory. Now the world's largest professional wrestling governing body is expanding again. Deepest, darkest Africa will be home to African Elite Wrestling!
AEW has its roster set and the month of October will see the company determine their first heavyweight and tag team champions. The format will be the
Iron Man Tournament with 10 singles wrestlers and 10 tag teams squaring off in round robin competition.

Question: should I use the singles cards for Mark & Jay Briscoe in the Iron Team Tournament or stick with the original cards?
I've never used the two singles cards. Comparing, those have fewer defensive tags and the offense is mostly the same. Mark has Doomsday Device +4 which seems a tad much.
I'm starting to lean toward using the singles cards as then after the championship tournaments they can stay in tag team or go to singles with those cards.

Man I don’t know how you do it keeping up with all these territories but I am envious! Looks like a killer roster for AEW.
I say if you have previously used the Briscoes tag cards, then switch to the singles cards. That’s what I have done in the past after using the tag cards for awhile..like you said with the idea to split them off into singles.

This fed came about because I want to use some of the indy cards that I really like. It's become apparent that my 7 indy territories are not going to get played unless I run them at 1 show a game month or something. So I picked the major indy stars that have been in the WWE, or TNA-Impact, or maybe New Japan, etc. Someone that I might not feel bad if they beat someone in LOW or won a major title. So this fed is those big indy names. |

American Wolves & Chris Sabin def. The Briscoes & Jon Moxley Show notes: spectacular action to kick off AEW! The opener saw plenty of great stuff. Tyler Black hit a somersault to the floor and Kazarian was counted out of the ring. The Bullet Club were less than stellar in its loss. Bryan Danielson set up Kenny Omega for Shelton Benjamin to super kick him for the three count. Walter and Roppongi Vice looked good in their win. The Strong Zero double team move stopped Mike Braztik of LAX. The last two matches fought for match of the night. It's a close call. Matt Cardona was nearly killed in this match but he kept kicking out! The match was a war zone but PCO landed his moonsault on Brian Kendrick to get the win. Jon Moxley put a beating on all three of his opponents. Mark Briscoe took a lot of damage as this one went back and forth. Chris Sabin was beaten badly but his team won after Davey Richards' Ankel Lock put away Moxley. |
