Show Notes: A spectacular day 1 of Clash of the Champions in the home of AEW! Eight out of 10 titles changed hands!

Early on really good matches between the Long Riders and Mexa Blood and Candi Divine and Mildred Burke set the tone for the evening.

The Patriot scored the upset in taking the U.S. title from Johnny Valentine. Mr. Saito ended the long reign as ECW champion by the Sandman.

Killer Kowalski was able to hang on and retain the Canadian title against Jack Brisco.

Vader and Race let each other have everything they could in a Finisher Match! It was a brutual war with JJ Dillon getting involved to help Race. This one was really long and both men took a beating but Vader regained the European title!

The Briscoes and the Kings of Wrestling seriously tore down the The Dome of Doom. Even though it was 2 straight falls this match was a classic.

Show Notes: a great opener with Brad Armstrong dominating Juventud Guerrera to retain the MWE Light-hvywt. title. A wild and brutal affair saw the Midnight Express come away as U.S. tag team champions for the third time, but the first time in over three years.

2 Cold Scorpio takes the ECW TV title from Mikey Whipwreck despite the efforts of the Sinister Minister. The Spoiler grabbed a quick win after Bull Curry seemed on his way to taking the All-Pacific championship.

Mike Quackenbush with a great match to beat the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger and keep the JWA Jr. hvywt. strap. Tommy Rich catches Blackjack Mulligan early wtih the sleeper and a Thesz Press to win the All-Asia title.

The Sheik and Don Muraco tore the place down trying to hurt each other. The Sheik gets away with the belt after getting a count out victory.

The Tolos Brothers and the Kangaroos turned in an all-time great match for the Canadian tag team titles. Tons of interference and reversals, plus managers getting involved.

Four tag team titles hung in the balance when RVD & Sabu met Doc and Gordy. This was another awesome battle as all four men threw everything they had at each other before RVD & Sabu came out on top.

Tyler Black battered Bryan Danielson to win two straight falls and retain the AEW Shaka Zulu heavyweight championship.
