I've had AJ in the past (Hooded btw) and I've toyed with Nigel but he's never quite fit into things where I would have needed him. Maybe in the future when I start my International fed.

Which AJ Styles card do you guys like better? I use the hooded one as more of a heel AJ and the other one as a face version.

How do they stack up? I know "back in the day", the Legends of the Future guys were not really capable of keeping up with Legends, which made them undercard fodder unless you kept them to themselves. I'm assuming the modern color indies guys are rated to be competitive among themselves, and also keep pace with the Legends.
I'm afraid that, if I allow modern guys into my fed, I will start to bias them, because I'm more comfortable with their characters. Part of the appeal of Legends for me is learning about, and developing plotlines for characters I -didn't- really grow up watching.

I had AJ in one of my indy feds, either PCW or ROH. Starting a new fed in my LOW NWA with the indy cards that I like. I picked the unhooded card to use.

Some are definitely fodder but most are probably in the mid-card to upper mid-card range, with a few venturing into what would likely be the upper card of any fed. The newest Willie Mack has a Rahl Rating of 40(43) so he's right up there with some of the biggest LOW names.

All of them. None of them have set spots on the roster and really just act as my revolving door of talent or filler tag team matches. But if they grab some big wins or there's a place for them, they stay around.

I've used a ROH Shelton Benjamin as a replacement for an injured Rocky Johnson to team up with Tony Atlas in The Soul Patrol.

I used Bryan Danielson's Chikara card (don't have the ROH one yet), having him team with Severn and Tragos as top faces. Kyle O'reiley, meanwhile, joined the heel group of Hutton and Roop to feud with Severn's team. Tim Donst (Chikara rookie card) formed an underdog group with Whipwreck and Regal. Ultramantis Black and Frightmare are a neutral tag team because I needed one more team for my fed. For the moment, Brodie Lee is a part-timer beating up members of Team Extreme (pretty much everyone with a DQ move).
I have a few wrestlers on stand-by: If John Pesek ever gets a color card, I'm going to have Davey Richards form a group with him of stiff wrestlers. Rhyno may join Crusher and Ox Baker to feud with Team Extreme (who has about 8 members so plenty of people to fight). I really want to bring in Adam Pearce and Shelton Benjamin, but I have no idea where to put them yet.

I've been mixing the top indie guys into my legends fed in an invasion angle with Styles, Danielson, and Steen leading the way. Just did a crossover ppv that was a lot of fun. I definitely want to add Mil Muertes, and James Storm as well.
