This is funny because I was just comparing the golden age of television and the streaming service boom being similar in that someone was going to use wrestling to help fill the content hole. WWE to Peacock

So we pay less (or the same if you want no commercials) than we are now, and we get more content?
I'm down for it.

I have a bad feeling about this as it relates to classic content, but we'll see. If everything really does carry over and stuff doesn't disappear, I'm okay with it even if we don't see any more classic updates (which of course have slowed down considerably already, and the recent additions are stuff that's already circulating anyway if you know where to look).

Same. I don't see classic content being as big of a priority for Peacock.

How does this work for folks in Canada like myself for more content? I guess we will get updates but not everything that is on this new thing?

Its funny, my daughter was just getting into the Offcie and wants to get Peacock to watch past season 2. So now I guess we get that commercial free with the WWE Network stuff for the same price. Not bad. Good timing for me personally.
I could see some of the classic content taking a hit. I pretty much just watch PPVs and the occasional documentary, so for what I need this should work. But I see others that get it for old content and not the current stuff being worried.

See I want all the classic content, it's so good and I love watching the old mid Atlantic and want to see more AWA

NBC has got to be realistic about what they're getting and know there is a significant portion of the audience that only wants the classic content. I can't envision a scenario where they cut a part of the viewership out of the picture to live a false narrative about the current product (fan rejection and alleged low point ratings and all) being all that matters. After all, they of course feature their new shows but NBC and all streaming platforms keep "classic content" of their own in shows and movies from the 60s-onward.
That written, I would be a little wary of corporate influence on the current product, but that's a discussion for another time. Well, thinking about it, there may be some concern of someone from corporates "cancel culture" division trying to root out all of the "problematic" content. Keep those old ECW vhs and dvds just in case, guys.

Classic content additions are almost non-existent, so can it really get any worse? I do love the Wrestling Challenge adds that came in this month, so hopefully they will still do the once per month add 10-15 shows model.
