I'm in the minority here but I really liked his Jeremy Su art! I had Scion as Lord Nexus's son and he won his fare share of tag and singles gold. What really should have happened was Scion Nexus taking over the manager spot from Lord Nexus during those "dark years". You know when the Titans weren't really headliners anymore (at least to me from how I read the books going from when Reckless, Payback, Tristan were around, that era of the Titans). Just my thoughts on it. I am too, in that I also liked the Jeremy Su artwork, for whatever reason. He also has performed well for me, gave him a World Title push/tour...very Rock-like in my mind. Will agree that Perfect Specimen took the Scion Nexus concept and made it better though!

I always enjoyed him. The first piece of art wasn't a home run, but I liked the second quite a lot. He got a big push and feuded with Bloodline over the Galaxian title for a few months in one of my bigger feuds/angles of the Takeover era. Much like stu, I saw him as a bit Rock-like. He fell down the card a little after failing to come up big in his Bloodline feud, but would still occasionally main event.

His team with Ursa Major did well for me. And once jumping to CPC & joining up with Jack of Diamonds is where he became a star for me.

He or Perfect Specimen never did anything for me. They ended up being more hype than anything.

I played him as written, step-son to Lord Nexus, and I also don't remember Scion Nexus doing anything special with regards to titles.
As far as The Perfect Specimen, I have not gotten to the years to play as him yet, but did have him at GalactiCon in a couple of tournaments, yeah he is the real deal, actually cannot wait to get to use him (along with a few others!).

I don't have my records (a key reason why I rebooted my COTG fed history using the color card sets and now posting my COTG fed results here on the board so I can have an electronic backup copy lol) but I seem to remember Scion Nexus dominating my cruiserweight division.
Right now in COTG, I am currently finishing 2127 (I am in November 2127) so I will be starting 2128 this week. I am not sure what year Perfect Specimen debuts but I think it is soon for me and I am looking forward to using him.

I played him as written concerning his relation with Lord Nexus..I must be in the minority when I say I liked his first card art better than the second...weird to say that as I am not a big fan of Bendis's art.
Concerning his career in my fed, I don't think he did much in the GWF but had a little bit of success in the CPC.
He just debuted in my son's fed and Titan Attack is 0-2 with Scion being the one being pinned twice.
Loved the character but...meh concerning career highlights.
Perfect Specimen is turning out the same way as he seems to be more hype than substance.

I kept him as the adopted son and didn't mind his art. He fared pretty decent after the upgrade. The part I didn't like - his name. Scion Nexus is awful name. I had it where people just started referring to him as 'Prince' Nexus.
