The show opened with the announcements that The Masked Superstar & King Kong Bundy will receive shots at the LWF World Tag Team Titles, Nigel McGuinness will receive a shot at the LWF Southern Heavyweight title and Don Muraco will receive a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title at LWF 6:05 Wrestling Presents Hell is for Heroes

1. The Powers of Pain Vs. The Long Riders
The Barbarian flattened Wild Bill at the opening bell and hit a cross body from the top for a two count. The Powers of Pain hit the elevated clothesline for the win.

Winners - Powers of Pain by pinfall

2. Buddy Rogers vs. Kenny Jay
Rogers made short work of Jay, taking him down with a piledriver and locking the Figure Four Grapevine for the win.

Winner - Buddy Rogers by submission

3. Shane Douglas vs. Manny Fernandez
Manny had Douglas in trouble early on but couldn’t take him down. Douglas took control and hit the Pittsburgh Plunge for a two count. Douglas focused his attack on Manny’s back and hit a back suplex for a near fall. Manny made a comeback on the outside and scored a near fall with the gut wrench suplex. Manny hit a scoop slam for the upset victory.

Winner - Manny Fernandez by pinfall

4. Al Snow vs. Chris Candido
Snow quickly took advantage and hit the Snow Plow for a two count. Snow hit a second Snow Plow but Candido got his foot on the ropes. Snow hit the Snow Plow for a third time for the win.

5. Ted DiBiase & Stan Hansen vs. The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke
DiBiase and Von Raschke started the match. DiBiase and Von Raschke traded the advantage back and forth until the Baron hit the backbreaker drop on knee for a two count. DiBiase made a comeback and tagged in Hansen. Hansen mauled the Baron and hit the Lariat but the Crusher broke up the pin. Hansen nailed the Baron with a second Lariat for the win.

6. Jack Brisco vs. Mad Dog Vachon - LWF Southern Heavyweight title match
Jack whipped Mad Dog into the corner at the opening bell and crushed him with a lariat. Mad Dog staggered out of the corner and Jack rolled him up with the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Mad Dog made a comeback but Brisco shut him down and hit a dropkick for a two count. Brisco rolled him up with the rolling reverse cradle for the win.

Looks like we're still on track for that Vader vs. Brisco encounter... As much as I like Muraco, I don't foresee him being the one to end Vader's reign of terror... And I really like the pairing of Blackjack and The Axe... That was a big win over the Powers of Pain... Wondering if we might see more of this tough team.

Riders On The Storm delivered the goods, as expected (superb title for a show, btw)... Nice work!

LWF 6:05 Wrestling 85
The show opened with the announcement that Bobo Brazil has challenged his old rival Johnny Valentine to a match at LWF 6:05 Wrestling Presents Hell is for Heroes. It will be their first time locking up since the black and white days. Since competition for shots at the top spot in the ratings are getting heated, Terry Gordy vs. Adrian Adonis and Shane Douglas vs. Bruiser Brody have also been added to the card.

1. The New Age Outlaws Vs. The Bolsheviks
Billy Gunn and Boris Zhukov started the match. Gunn press slammed Zhukov and made the cover but Volkoff broke up the pin attempt. The New Age Outlaws hit the spike piledriver on Zhukov and Road Dogg hit the pump handle slam for a two count. Road Dogg hit the shake rattle and roll knee drop and made the cover. Gunn held off Volkoff while the referee made the three count.

Winners - The New Age Outlaws by pinfall

2. Buddy Rogers vs. George South
Rogers made short work of South, getting the quick win with a Figure Four Grapevine.

3. Terry Gordy vs. Sam Houston
Gordy dominated Houston and locked on the STF but Houston made it to the ropes. Gordy picked him up and hit big power bomb for the win.

4. Manny Fernandez vs. Johnny Valentine
Manny started strong but Valentine shut him down with a sleeper. Manny made it to the ropes but Valentine drilled him with an atomic skullcrusher for a two count. Valentine hit a second atomic skullcrusher for the win.

5. Mulligan & Hennig vs. The Pitbulls
Larry Hennig and Pitbull #2 started the match. Hennig and Pitbull #2 battled back and forth. Pitbull #2 finally took Hennig off his feet with a gorilla press slam. Pitbull #2 hit a tombstone piledriver for a two count. The Pitbulls hit the Super Bomb on Hennig but Hennig kicked out. Hennig made a comeback and tagged in Mulligan. Pitbull #1 and Mulligan fought all over the ring area. Pitbull #1 hit Mulligan with the chain, earning the disqualification

Winners - Blackjack Mulligan & Larry Hennig by disqualification

6. Vader vs. Jerry Lynn - LWF World Heavyweight title match
Lynn attacked Vader before the bell but his punches had little effect. Jerry tried whipping Vader to the buckles but Vader reversed it. Jerry dodged a turnbuckle charge and Vader tumbled out of the ring. Vader smashed Jerry with a chair in full view of the referee, earning the disqualification.

Winner - Jerry Lynn by disqualification. Vader retains the gold in his 26th title defense.

As Vader walked to the back with the belt, Jerry Lynn got on the mic and called Vader a coward and dared him to come back to the ring. Lynn needled Vader until Vader turned around and walked back to the ring. Vader grabbed Gary Capetta and made him reintroduce both men and told the referee to stick around. Vader barked at the time keeper to ring the bell.

7. Vader vs. Jerry Lynn - LWF World Heavyweight title match
Vader tried hitting a dropkick at the opening bell but Jerry dodged it and went on the attack. Jerry unloaded on Vader and hit a German Suplex for a two count. Jerry hit another German suplex and Vader rolled out of the ring. Vader and Jerry battled on the floor and Vader came out on top. Vader pounded Lynn with brutal strikes and hit a Vader Bomb for a two count. Vader hit a bone crushing splash for the victory.

Winner - Vader by pinfall, his 27th successful title defense.

Vader walked to the back with the belt and the crowd gave Jerry Lynn a standing ovation as he hobbled to the back.

It was so close! Vader rolled 2-1 on that German suplex!

I had Jerry call Vader back to the ring because I didn't feel like booking a rematch somewhere down the line after the DQ since Jerry was on his way out anyway.
