There is definitely no shortage of superb competition here... Great to see guys like Bockwinkel, DiBiase and DDP picking up some big wins... Fun times!

I'm almost out of the shows I've already played that I have in the can. Even I don't know if Jack Brisco wins the belt at this point.

LWF 6:05 Wrestling 98
1. The Armstrongs vs. The Texas Hangmen
Bullet Bob and Psycho started the match. Psycho got the drop on Bullet Bob and the Hangmen hit the Hangmen’s Backbreaker for a two count. Bullet Bob made a comeback and hit the Georgia Jawjacker on Killer for a near fall. Bullet Bob hit the Georgia Jawjacker a second time and tagged in Brad. Killer and Brad battled back and forth and Killer tagged in Psycho. Brad got the upper hand and hit the Russian leg sweep on Psycho but Killer made the save. Brad hit the Russian leg sweep a second time for the win.

Winners - The Armstrongs by pinfall

2. Jack Brisco vs. Robbie Ellis
Brisco made short work of Ellis, taking him down and rolling him up with the rolling reverse cradle for teh win.

3. The Spoiler vs. Ric McCord
The Spoiler overwhelmed McCord and hit a knee lift for a near fall. The Spoiler hit the rope walk and smash. McCord tried to make a comeback but The Spoiler turned things around and locked on the Bionic Claw for the win.

4. Mulligan & Windham vs. The Blue World Order
Mulligan and Nova started the match. Nova went on a tear and hit the Scream Machine for a two count. Nova hit the Sledge-o-Matic for another near fall and tagged in the Blue Meanie. Meanie and Nova hit the Blue Light Special but Barry Windham made the save. Nova hit Novacaine but Mulligan kicked out. Nova hit the sledge-o-matic a second time but Barry Windham made the save. Nova hit the Kryptonite Krunch for the win.

5. Mad Dog Vachon vs. Tully Blanchard
Tully got the early advantage but Mad Dog turned things around and hit a backbreaker for a two count. Mad Dog hit the Mad Dog Pounce and threw Tully to the outside. Mad Dog slammed Tully into the guard rail and rolled him back into the ring. Mad Dog hit the piledriver for the win.

6. Steve Williams, Vader & Valentine vs. Stan Hansen, Brody & Abdullah
Johnny Valentine and Stan Hansen started the match. Hansen and Valentine clobbered one another with hard strikes. Valentine threw Hansen out of the ring and drilled him with the atomic skullcrusher on the concrete. Hansen would have been counted out but Abdullah attacked Valentine from behind, distracting the referee. The referee forced Abdullah out and Hansen returned to the ring. Valentine hit a backbreaker and tagged in Vader. Hansen made a comeback and tagged in Abdullah. Abdullah threw Vader out to the floor and Vader slammed him into the timekeeper’s table. Vader hit a Vader Bomb on Abdullah and tagged in Steve Williams. Williams and Johnny Valentine hit a double football tackle on Abdullah. Valentine drilled Abdullah with the atomic skullcrusher for a near fall. Abdullah made a comeback and tagged in Brody. Brody and Valentine brawled on the outside. Brody hit a jumping knee drop on the concrete and Valentine was nearly counted out. Brody hit a second jumping knee drop for a near fall. Brody hit the jumping knee drop again but Valentine got his foot on the ropes. Brody clotheslined Valentine and made the cover and all four combatants on the apron entered the ring. Brody’s team came out on top and Brody tagged in Hansen.Hansen power bombed Valentine but Valentine kicked out. Hansen drilled Valentine with the lariat for the win.

The six men continued brawling as the show went off the air.

LWF 6:05 Wrestling Presents Mile High Mayhem
1. Buddy Rogers vs. Dick Hutton
Rogers and Hutton grappled back and forth. Rogers resorted to illegal tactics, trying to pin Hutton using the ropes for a two count. Rogers hoisted Hutton up and hit a piledriver for the three count.

2. Mad Dog Vachon vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Whipwreck tried to get in some offense at the opening bell but it just made Vachon angry. Mad Dog hit a backbreaker for a two count. Mad Dog hit the Mad Dog Pounce and whipped Mikey to the ropes. Mikey made a comeback with a piledriver but couldn’t follow up on it. Mad Dog hit a second Mad Dog Pounce and hit a running knee lift for the win.

3. Steve Williams & Jim Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase & Stan Hansen
Williams and DiBiase started the match. DiBiase and Williams battled back and forth. DiBiase rolled up Williams with a sunset flip but Duggan made the save. DiBiase tagged in Hansen. Hansen and Doc battled on the outside and Doc got the upper hand. Doc broke the count and he and Hansen continued brawlling. Hansen got the upper hand and plowed Doc with a Lariat but Doc got his foot on the ropes. Hansen hit the Lariat a second time and tagged in DiBiase. DiBIase hit a power slam but Doc kicked out. DiBiase hit a second power slam but Doc kicked out. DiBiase locked on the figure four and Duggan broke the hold. DiBiase hit a backbreaker and tagged in Hansen. Hansen hit the Lariat for the win.

4. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Ox Baker
DDP and Baker brawled outside the ring just minutes into the match. Baker got the upper hand but DDP hit a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere for a two count. Page hit a second Diamond Cutter but Baker got his foot on the ropes. DDP hit the Diamond Cutter a third time for the win.

Winner - Diamond Dallas Page by pinfall

After the match, Ox Baker drilled Page with the heart punch. The referee had to help Page to the back.

5. Don Muraco Vs. David Taylor - LWF Southern Heavyweight title match
Muraco and Taylor battled back and forth. Taylor got the upper hand and hit the British Suplex for a two count. Taylor hoisted Muraco up and hit a vertical suplex for the win.

WInner - David Taylor by pinfall. Taylor is the new LWF Southern Heavyweight champion

6. Johnny Valentine vs. Abdullah the Butcher
Valentine and Abdullah battled back and forth. Abdullah quickly opened up a wound on Valentine’s forehead with a fork. Valentine made a comeback and nailed Abdullah with an atomic skullcrusher for a two count. Valentine hit a second atomic skullcrusher for a near fall. Valentine hit a third atomic skullcrusher but again couldn’t put Abdullah away. Abdullah rolled out of the ring and he and Valentine slugged it out on the floor. Valentine got the fork from Abdullah and gouged Abdullah with it. The referee had enough and called for the bell.

Winner - Abdullah the Butcher by disqualification

After the match, Valentine got on the mic and challenged Abdullah to a rematch at LWF 6:05 Wrestling Presents End of Days in a falls count anywhere match. Abdullah responded by throwing a fireball in Valentine’s face and attacking him with the fork again. Security mobbed the ring and it took several minutes to restore order.

While things were settling down, the announcers took the time to announce the list of competitors for this season’s Turner Cup tournament with the winner receiving a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title.

Bockwinkel and The Crusher started the match. The Crusher dominated Bockwinkel early on but couldn’t get Nick in a pinning predicament. Bockwinkel turned things around and locked on the Figure Four but The Crusher made it to the ropes. Bockwinkel locked on the Bockwinkel sleeper but The Crusher fought his way out of the hold. Bockwinkel tagged in Stevens. The Crusher made a comeback and tagged in The Baron. Von Raschke hit a back suplex for a two count. Stevens and Von Raschke brawled on the floor. The Baron got the advantage and locked on the Brain Claw but Stevens escaped the hold. Stevens and Von Raschke battled out on the floor and the referee lost control and called for the bell.

Winners - double disqualification

8. Vader vs. Bruiser Brody for the LWF World Heavyweight title (If Vader wins, his reign will be the longest of any title in Gunslinger Promotions history)
The two bulls jockeyed for position early on. Vader took control and hit a front slam on Brody for a two count. The match spilled out of the ring and Brody took control, busting Vader open after repeated boots to the face. Brody hit a one hand body slam for a two count. Brody clotheslined Vader for a near fall. Brody knocked Vader down and hit a running leg drop for a two count. Vader made a comeback and hit a released power bomb for a two count. Vader hit a second released power bomb but Brody kicked out. Vader hit a third power bomb for the win.

Winner - Vader by pinfall, his 33rd successful title defense. Vader now has the longest reign of any champion in Gunslinger Promotions history.

1. Superstar & Koloff vs. The Blue World Order
Koloff and Nova started the match. Koloff squashed Nova and drilled him with the Russian Sickle for a two count. Koloff hit a second Russian Sickle and tagged in the Masked Superstar. Superstar hit a head butt for a two count and locked on the Cobra Hold but Nova made it to the ropes. Superstar hit the Superstar Clothesline for a near fall. Superstar locked on the Cobra Hold but Nova was able to grab the ropes. Superstar tagged Ivan Koloff back in. Koloff threw Nova out to the floor and gave him a Russian sickle, knocking him over the guard rail and into the crowd. Nova couldn’t beat the count and was counted out.

Winners - Superstar & Koloff by count out.

2. Larry Hennig vs. The Painkiller
The Painkiller got in some offense at the opening bell but Hennig got things under control and hit The Axe for a two count. Hennig hit the Axe a second time for the win.

3. The Dynamite Kid vs. Ox Baker - Turner Cup Round 1
Dynamite took Baker down with a vicious head butt and hit a superplex for a two count. Dynamite hit a snap suplex for another near fall. Dynamite hit another snap suplex and hit the Diving Head butt for a two count. Ox made a comeback and drilled Dynamite with the heart punch for a two count. Ox threw Dynamite out to the floor but Dynamite caught him and hit a snap suplex on a chair. Dynamite rolled Ox back into the ring. Ox regained control of the match and hit a body slam for a two count. Dynamite battled back and went to the top rope but Ox threw him to the mat. Dynamite made a comeback and hit a snap suplex for a two count. Dynamite hit a gut wrench suplex for the win.

4. Davey Boy Smith vs. The Iron Sheik vs. - Turner Cup Round 1
Davey and the Iron Sheik battled back and forth. Davey hit the Sheik with a running clothesline for a two count. Davey hit a superplex for a two count. Davey scooped up the Sheik and hit a running power slam but the Sheik got his foot on the ropes. Davey hit the power slam a second time for the win.

5. Randy Savage vs. Diamond Dallas Page - Turner Cup Round 1
Savage mauled Page and hit the flying elbow smash for a two count. Savage hit a second flying elbow smash but still couldn’t put Page away. Savage hit a third flying elbow smash for the win.

6. Mil Muertes vs. Tully Blanchard- Turner Cup Round 1
Muertes attacked Blanchard at the opening bell and hit the Flatliner for a two count. Tully and Muertes brawled all over the ring area. Muertes regained control and hit the Flatliner for the win.

Mulligan and Psycho started the match. The two Texans battled back and forth. The Hangmen made the switch but Mulligan took Killer down with a lariat for a two count. Mulligan hit the back elbow ram for a near fall. Mulligan hit a knee to the gut for a near fall and tagged in Windham. Windham hit the lariat for the win.

2. Mad Dog Vachon vs. Buddy Rogers - Turner Cup Round 1
Mad Dog got control early on but Rogers turned things around with a knee smash. Rogers got a two count after a series of dropkicks. Rogers locked on the figure four grapevine for the win.

3. Curt Hennig vs. Shane Douglas - Turner Cup Round 1
Douglas got the upper hand in the early minutes of the match and hit a piledriver for a two count. Douglas hit a belly to belly suplex but Hennig kicked out. Hennig got some momentum going but Douglas threw him out of the ring and hit the Pittsburgh Plunge on the concrete. Hennig was able to beat the count back into the ring. Douglas hit a power bomb but Hennig kicked out. Hennig made a comeback and suplexed Douglas on the concrete. Douglas was able to beat the count back into the ring. Douglas made a comeback and hit a back suplex for a two count. Douglas hit the belly to belly suplex for the win.

4. Adrian Adonis vs. Dan Severn - Turner Cup Round 1
Adonis and Severn battled back and forth. Severn got control and locked on the choke sleeper but Adonis made it to the ropes. Severn changed gears and locked on the armbar but Adonis rolled free of the hold. Severn locked on the choke sleeper a second time but Adonis got to the ropes. Severn clamped on the armbar but Adonis was able to escape the hold. Severn hit a German Suplex for the win.

5. Antonio Inoki vs. Terry Gordy - Turner Cup Round 1
Inoki and Gordy grappled back and forth. Inoki got the upper hand and locked on the Octopus Hold but Gordy escaped the hold. Inoki locked on the Octopus Hold a second time but Gordy fought his way out of hte hold. Inoki locked on the Octopus Hold a third time but Gordy refused to submit. Inoki manhandled Gordy into the middle of the ring and nailed him with th eEnzuigiri for the win.

6. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens vs. The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke - No Disqualification match for the LWF World Tag Team titles.
Stevens and Von Rashcke started the match. Von Raschke took control after a brawl on the floor. Stevens made a comeback and hit a double team attack with Bockwinkel for a near fall. Bockwinkel locked on the Figure Four but The Baron made it to the ropes. Bockwinkel locked on the Figure Four a second time but the Baron managed to escape the hold. The Baron made a comeback and made the hot tag to The Crusher. The Crusher hit an elbow drop for a near fall. The Crusher rammed Bockwinkel into the ringpost, busting him open. The Crusher wound up and nailed Bockwinkel with the Crusher Bolo but Bockwinkel got his foot on the ropes. The Crusher hit a second Crusher Bolo but Stevens made the save. The Crusher locked on the stomach claw and The Baron locked the Brain Claw on Stevens! The tag team champions submitted simultaneously!

Winners - The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke by submission! The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke are the new LWF World Tag Team Champions!

The new champions were celebrating when they were jumped by Ted DiBiase and Stan Hansen! Hansen and DiBiase put the boots to the new champs as the show went off the air!
