I can't imagine anyone having a problem with my having a chance to buy what he got for free. I thought the only way to get it was to pay for it with the virtual con ticket. Were there freebies handed out too? I missed that. Either way, I'm sure you can manage to get a copy in some way, shape, or form eventually. Seems like there is always someone in the community willing to help.

yeah you paid for the card basically. To me it's no different than going to most cons that have something for attendees that will not be available for the mass audience.

I got this card in the mail today and then shortly afterward my power was restored from a wind-caused power outage earlier in the day. Coincidence? I think not!

I do understand all that. I once purchased a numbered Randy Savage LE card that later turned up in a Best of Filsinger Games set as just another card. I hope Nacho likewise gets a second life, this time as an SE card. I can't imagine anyone having a problem with my having a chance to buy what he got for free. I personally HATE exclusive stuff. When I would collect figures, I hated those stupid chase figures that you could only find on eBay for three times the markup. I hope they do release it to the masses, especially if someone didnt start playing the game, say, starting yesterday (in which they’d never know about the virtual cons). But to be fair: they did give fans that currently play notice and did admit it wasn’t “essential “ to your fed

I had other commitments that weekend so I did not plan to attend but next time I will get a ticket just to get the exclusive. I did not know about the exclusive until after the fact.

I only started playing in 2015 so I’d be bummed to find stuff I couldn’t buy up- especially a ham n egger!

If you’re a completist and don’t get to attend the con, you still get a card and online version, so it isn’t that bad if I knew there was a legends card, and I couldn’t attend, I’d still definitely buy a ticket. My hope is after a year, they’ll offer it. Maybe charge $5 to get your choice of online or printed or $8 for the combo. As a legends fan, I love to see other fans have a complete fed

If someone started playing today, they’d miss out But see my last post. I think that’s a good way to handle it. I do think a certain amount of time should pass...

Ya know, you could make it event exclusive so next perennial you could buy two tickets and get the prior year and current year maybe?
I get the exclusives idea as long as it's not someone I really wanted. Like if there is a Chicago con and CM Punk was a one time exclusive I'd riot ...

This is a bit of a weird discussion to me. Exclusives have existed in every collectible and game genre for decades. It's a great incentive and makes something like a convention feel special. As a long time collector and gamer I know an industrious and motivated person can usually find a way to get it after the fact, but if something is advertised as an exclusive it shouldn't be "for a limited time to be fair".
It was silly a few years back, for instance, when Funko started releasing comic convention exclusive Pop vinyl figures to certain retial outlets after the fact. It cheapened the entire idea of an exclusive and made "the hunt" less fun, which to me has always been a part of the collecting experience.
Either way, it's Nacho Barrera, a guy 75 percent of the people here didn't seem to know existed until a few months ago, not Jack Brisco. I suppose if there's some overwhelming demand FG can release him again later in an altered form and this one will still be exclusive, but I'd hope they would at least change something about it to honor the integrity of the term "exclusive" (altered art/colors, second print denotation, something). Anyway, it's not like everything from the legends game is available permanently. In color King Kong Bundy recently sold out on the online store and it appears that many sets with cards like DDP and Rick Rude have been gone for years.
