But, I wonder, is Hayes getting money from the WWE currently, like on a Legends deal from merchandise, etc., or is he just a backstage guy? In which case, would the WWE care, since Hayes was never a "WWF/WWE ring talent" and really only Dok Hendrix was their creation. Hayes just got a figure as Michael PS Hayes, Badstreet shirt and all, in the Mattel WWE line.

Interesting. That's the first thing he's had done period I assume. I'm struggling with this. To be frank - because again, does it truly preclude them from doing anything else, with the Legends Contract? I'd love to find out - because to tell me that Don Morocco wasn't making money off his likeness when his legends deal was active, seems like a stretch.
I'd agree that Hayes working for the WWE might make it difficult for him to be a part of it, but if the Legends deals are still constructed the way that they are, WWE produces items for you, they pay you some up front, for your likeness, and then if they don't make back what you paid you it's like "lost money" - a write off if you will.

A lot of WWE legends deals aren't exclusive, which is why you have wrestlers who get action figures from Mattel who also have PWTees stores and doing autograph signings. They're not "we are the only ones who can use you" contracts. Bret has a legends deal and appeared on the first AEW PPV. Hayes likely has an actual WWE deal with merch and royalties thrown in where they have control of his likeness, not just a legends deal. He also had a figure in the Jakks Classic Superstars line in 2006 and appeared in the Legends of WrestleMania console game in 2009 and was in at least one WWE 2K game alongside Buddy and the von Erichs. They've also done Badstreet USA shirts and a Freebirds shirt in like 2007.

Yeah, I guess - it's been a long time though, less than one thing per year. I am just fascinated by all of this.

Cards showed up today and man they look great! Can't wait to get Riggs teamed up with Alexander and Ranger Ross is going to join my All American faction called The Patriot Act. Bob Sr will get a card swap and continue his singles run and then I will team him with Mike Dibiase and enter into the tag team division. My tag team division is rockin right now. Awesome job on these cards!

With only 5 Fridays until the HOF set release, we've only seen art for one and only 2 of 8 names confirmed.
Will there be any PP teasers for Q3? Wednesdays with the Indie set & PP teasers perhaps?
Or will the Q3 PP cards be released later in the quarter?

Although I don’t know anything about the LOW announcement schedule questions, I know the Indy Q3 Promoter Prime cards don’t get released until September as usual as it was announced on Roll Up the Indy tournament winner will get some say as to what card gets created for that quarter. I think the GCon/July releases are separate from Q3 (I know they are different at least for Indy.)

I'm pretty certain that all the Q3 Primes are going to be in September.

Thanks! That makes sense & if they were getting released in July it would make August, September & October very quiet around here. At least we'll have a PP teaser season.
I listened to the announcement on the Roll Up podcast and it just never clicked in my mind that the winners picked cards for this upcoming quarters set.
