Mike Graham d. Ric McCord with an Oklahoma side roll

Steve Williams and Terry Gordy are out for an interview. Williams talks about all of the success that they have had in the NWA. They just defeated Barry Windham and Blackjack Mulligan at the WrestleWar PPV. It's time for them to take it to the next level and that's why they are officially challenging the Rock N Roll Express for the NWA United States Tag Team Titles.

Don Muraco d. George South with an over-the-shoulder backbreaker

NWA World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors and Paul Ellering come out for an interview. Animal and Hawk rant and rave about the Powers of Pain leaving them laid out and bloody in the middle of the ring at WrestleWar. Paul Ellering takes over and says that the Powers of Pain crossed the line with the Road Warriors. He says that this has become personal. This isn't about titles or who's the best now. This is about honor and pride. The Powers of Pain are heading down a road that he thinks they aren't ready for.

Mildred Burke d. Malia Hosaka with the Alligator Clutch

Mildred Burke stops with Gordon Solie for an interview. She's spent the last several months listening to Sherri Martel run her mouth about being the best in the world. She thinks Sherri needs to put her money where her mouth is and step up to the plate. If Sherri is so tough then put the belt on the line against her.

Barry Windham and Blackjack Mulligan d. Doug & Eddie Gilbert with the Blackjack Claw

NWA United States Champion The Destroyer is out for an interview. He talks about how good it feels to have championship gold once again. He talks about Diamond Dallas Page as being a great opponent. Diamond Dallas Page steps out and offers him a handshake. DDP asks for a rematch for the belt and The Destroyer agrees. DDP goes to step away when The Destroyer blindsides him in the held with the U.S. Title belt. The Destroyer puts the boots to DDP and then drags and rolls him into the ring. The Destroyer starts to stomp on the leg of DDP and then locks on the Figure Four Leglock. The Destroyer refuses to break the hold and security can't pry him off. Finally Barry Windham and Blackjack Mulligan hit the ring and The Destroyer finally breaks the hold and leaves. DDP appears to be in severe pain as he grabs at his leg. Windham and Mulligan call for medical staff. The medical team comes out and puts an air cast on DDP before taking him out on a stretcher.

Roddy Piper d. Lanny Poffo with the Foreign Object

Randy Savage comes out and argues with the ref about Piper using a foreign object to win the match. Piper finally has enough and attacks Savage. They start brawling until security manages to pull them apart.

Main Event:
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match:
Gorgeous George d. Danny Hodge (c) with a small package with tights

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Gorgeous George stops with Gordon Solie for an interview. George says that all is right with the world because he is once again a champion. He looks over the landscape of the junior division and he thinks he's going to hold this belt for a long time.

Adrian Street d. Mister X by count out

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Gorgeous George is out for an interview. He talks about how he is once again a champion in the NWA. He says that he is the best junior heavyweight champion in the world and obviously the most pretty and glamorous. Adrian Street appears on set about this time. Street mentions that he's been chasing that belt for a long time. He also mentions that no one is more pretty and glamorous than he is. He tells Gorgeous George to enjoy being champion because he's going to be gunning for him now.

Susan Green d. Ida Mae Martinez with the Texas Bulldog

NWA Women's Champion Sherri Martel is out for an interview. She wants Mildred Burke to know that she just defends the title against who the Championship Committee tells her to defend against. She isn't ducking anyone and if Burke has a problem she needs to take it up with them.

Roddy Piper d. Angelo Poffo with the Sleeper

Roddy Piper stops at the announce table. He's now beaten Randy Savage's brother and father. That's almost a complete set. The next person on his list is Randy Savage. He mentions how Savage cheated during their first match and he's not going to tolerate that a second time. He tells Savage to face him if he has the guts.

Flying Redheads d. Stan Hansen and Ted Dibiase by DQ
Note: This one quickly broke down into a wild brawl outside of the ring. Hansen started choking Lyons with a camera cord while Dibiase put the boots to Bastien. The referee had seen enough and called for the DQ. Hansen and Dibiase continued the attack until security managed to get them to the back.

NWA United States Tag Team Champions Rock N Roll Express are out for an interview. Ricky Morton heard what Steve Williams and Terry Gordy had to say last week. He tells them to bring it. The Rock N Roll Express have and continue to take on any and all comers. If Williams and Gordy want a title shot then they can name a time and a place and the Rock N Roll Express will be there with the belts.

NWA World Television Title Match:
Chris Candido d. 2 Cold Scorpio (c) by count out

NWA Commissioner Teddy Long is out for an interview. He mentions that Lou Thesz and Dan Severn have been at each other's throats for the entire year so far. They've had two matches and neither have ended in a pinfall of a submission. He's been meeting with the Championship Committee and they have decided that this will be settled with a cage match. They have a big show coming up in Charlotte, NC on April 18th and he has scheduled the match for that show. There will be a winner in this Thesz/Severn rivalry.

Main Event:
Tommy Rich d. Ox Baker with a sunset flip

Tommy Rich stops in with Gordon Solie. He saw what the Destroyer did to DDP on last week's show. If anyone hadn't heard, DDP suffered a broken leg and will probably be out a few months. Rich was disgusted by the actions of the Destroyer. He's going to take action here and get revenge for DDP. He warns the Destroyer to watch his back.

Both matches have been pretty intense. The Road Warriors got bloodied in the first match and the second match they had a couple of close class. Both matches were back and forth battles. I will probably give the Powers of Pain another shot before moving on just because the matches have been so good.

I would, just one more. They are a tough team. So are the Road Warriors. So I'd say the warriors are your babyfaces?

Yeah. Road Warriors have been faces. They won the belts from Brody and Hansen in December and feuded briefly with the Mongols before I started posting results.

Johnny Valentine d. Nacho Berrera with the Atomic Skullcrusher

NWA United States Champion The Destroyer is out for an interview. He explains that DDP disrespected him by asking for a rematch for the belt. If DDP had really respected him, he would have accepted that The Destroyer proved that he was the better man. As far as Tommy Rich goes, get the contracts ready and he'll gladly put the belt on the line.

Mildred Burke d. Beverly Shade with a backbreaker

NWA Women's Champion Sherri Martel is out for an interview. She again makes excuses for not defending the title against Mildred Burke. Mildred Burke walks on set and says she has a message for the Championship Committe and slaps Martel right in the face.

Stan Hansen d. Billy Lyons by DQ
Note: Ted Dibiase interfered several times which led to Red Bastien attacking Hansen which drew a DQ.

Both teams brawl after the bell rings until security manages to remove them. Commissioner Teddy Long comes out and announces that he's had Stan Hansen and Billy Lyons barred from the building for the rest of the evening.

Chris Candido and Justin Credible d. 2 Cold Scorpio and Jerry Lynn with a roll up

Commissioner Teddy Long is out for an announcement. To honor the memory of Jim Crockett Sr. and Jim Crockett Jr., there will be a 32 team tournament called the Crockett Cup coming up in the next few weeks. This will be a 2 night tournament and feature the best tag teams in wrestling today. The winners will receive a trophy, $250,000.00 and a title shot if they aren't already a champion.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz is out for an interview. He doesn't like the idea of a cage match but if it gets rid of Dan Severn once and for all then he will participate.

Miracle Violence Connection d. Rock N Roll Express (c) with a press slam

The NEW NWA United States Tag Team Champions Miracle Violence Connection join Gordon Solie for an interview. Steve Williams says that it's an amazing feeling to win a championship in professional wrestling. He and Gordy have been working to this moment for months and it feels great to have all of that work pay off. But they aren't done yet, these belts are just the start because they're going to win all of the tag team gold in the NWA. He's putting the Road Warriors on notice. Gordy and Williams are gunning for your belts.
