Anyone else had any delays in shipping on their last few orders? Not at all the fault of Filsinger as everything I've received has been stamped appropriately from the date I ordered to when it shipped, but my last order took 20 days to ship to me in Florida. I pre-odered this set with the priority shipping and still nothing in my mailbox. Just curious if other people are experiencing delayed deliveries as of late.

The post office has been screwed up nationwide. My job has been a nightmare because they have been losing so much mail lately. My friend mailed me a Christmas present before Christmas and it took 6 weeks to get to me.

Ok... I'm finding this discussion a little confusing... Why does there have to be ANY substitution for the deathjump option at all? As previously stated, every wrestler (including the vintage guys) have a deathjump rating... Therefore, high risk moves can be attempted against those wrestlers, even if they don't attempt those kinds of moves themselves... Just use the standard deathjump chart whenever a wrestler wants to attempt a high risk move against ANY opponent. I think the idea is, if you wanted to make a "pioneer rules" fed, and have some of the more modern guys compete in it, what would you do to modify their cards to make that work. Not just how to have Randy Savage compete against Frank Gotch, but how to have Savage compete LIKE Frank Gotch, if that makes sense. Eliminating the top rope stuff completely. Why can't you just roll on the deathjump chart and just say they are doing something that would require them to leave their feet. Maybe they are going for a knee drop or something like that. Since it's Pioneer that would be considered pretty risky. It's just a chart roll so you really only care about who goes on offense.

I know I'm biased, but I really think promoters are going to enjoy this set, perhaps more than they even imagined. These are really fun wrestlers we're getting...I mean, the Great Gama alone is so underrated, and can fit in any fed in a number of ways! Chad, Tim, and Cory did an awesome job with the stats, and the charts too, which will add a lot.
Have fun folks, this is an interesting crew of wrestlers!

I must agree. Guys like Gama have reached more or less legendary or even mythical status, and make for fun characters to work into our feds. I've already debuted Ed Lewis, Rod Fenton, and Henry Irslinger... Looking forward to using Gama and Gotch soon!

Some thoughts on the game: Gotch: slight improvements to defense, just enough to help him tear through threats. Also like the little boost to power. Hackenschmidt: Offense is slightly improved. I’m looking forward to how his new finishing rule works. Irslinger: could score sone surprising wins, if he can reach Level 3 Offense. Also best art of the set. Turk: Defense is slightly better. Evan Lewis: Defense boosts make him a credible threat. Ed Lewis: Defense boosts make him a monster. Gama: Already a monster! Fenton: Going to be a fun card, but like Turk, I’m not a fan of his DQ move. At least it’s based on moves and not weapons like the hardcore wrestlers.
Oh and while I do love this set, there is one thing I don’t quite understand. 1. George Tragos locks Bob Roop in the Arm Lock and Scissors. Roop taps (I know he didn’t tap out back then, but I’m just using it for the example), and the match is over. But Tragos refuses to let go and Roop ends up with a dislocated shoulder.
2. Evan Lewis locks the Stranglehold on Roop. Roop taps but Lewis refuses to let go. Match is over but Roop suffers an injured neck.
3. Terrible Turk locks the Stranglehold on Roop. Roop taps but Turk refuses to break the hold. Turk gets disqualified; no injuries.
Is that right?
