Has anyone ever tried to do federations in other time periods? I'm kind of debating having Actagon & Proteus return home and start off a federation in Ancient Greece (contemplating other eras too up until the dark ages 500-1000 CE and say that the records were thought to be lost and this is why people didnt know about wrestling to the early 1900s)

I have a mythological fed called the CCF, Centaurus Championship Fighting. It's run by Archon. Full of barbarian, elves, beasts, giants etc...
About as close as you get! I've toyed with bringing in Heracles, Proteus & Actagon too. Still might!

I have an upcoming journey into wrestlings history with a complete reboot of Pro-wrestling... uncertain to when the exact start "date" will be, but it should be a fun journey... stay tuned for details...
I also have not so much an "era based"... but a "what if" type of things which springboards from Matsuda Sorakichi being successful at bringing Pro-wrestling to Japan almost a 1/2 century earlier... and being successful at maintaining a more "legit based" style of wrestling, eclipsing the USA in its success... Vince never managed to become the world dominant power he is... the JWA is the preeminent power in pro-wrestling

Now I'm thinking about a COTG supplement set in 10000 BC where abducted cavemen and artificially created human-animal hybrids fight in arenas all over the galaxy. This will serve to explain the proliferation of humanoids throughout the COTG universe.

So my current idea is the ANTIQUITY ERA, Actagon and Proteus accidentally find themselves in the year 1 CE and in trouble with the Roman emperor. That is until Proteus pitches the idea of "bread & circuses" and a wrestling federation as the greatest spectacle of entertainment that takes everyone's mind off things.
They will go all over Europe, Asia and even the Americas to bring in talent for their show knowing no matter what happens this story will get lost due to the DARK AGES that happen around 500 to 1000 CE.
I feel this opens up quite a bit and could see them wanting to recreate historical things up to this moment so I could include a great many things and then just be like oh well the DARK AGES that's why wrestling seems to go away until 1945 for me lol
