The deathmatch theme continues into Indies Prime in Q3, as all 3 cards released this quarter will compliment that Indies Deathmatch 2021 game edition. When you think of deathmatches, one name that comes to the forefront is the deathmatch legend Mad Man Pondo. Pondo will be part of Indies Prime and will be bringing his saw bat, stop sign and cinderblock with him! He is joined by the previously announced new cards for Rickey Shane Page and Justice Pain. Between the new Indies Deathmatch set, Indies Prime and the Nick Gage special edition card, your Indie promotion is sure to get a whole lot more violent!

I can't believe we're getting a card for someone who came to my house to meet my parents before I made my debut as a manager on one of his first shows as a promoter at his hometown's county fair(and a man who years later goosed me when I was in the ring as an announcer!). Pondo's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and there's no doubt that he sacrificed his body to do the one thing he loves the most outside of his family--Professional Death Match Wrestling! I'm looking forward to reuniting Pondo with Necro Butcher. Congratulations, Pondo! You're a legend and you deserve it!

Is it just me, or does the Page art look kinda like Heath Slater?

So, Tasha Steelz was announced for the PP Indie 2021 Q4 set. I will have to eventually get those cards if for no other reason but to get her card. But the reason I bring this up is a possible teaser of huge proportions. At least for me. They mention her working for Impact wrestling. This is big because when talking about wrestlers they only use names of promotions that are already signed to Filsinger Games. If they are not signed it is mentioned as "a promotion on TV" or "large promotion on the East Coast", something like that. Could this mean there will be an Impact set coming out in 2022? My fingers are crossed that this is the case as I would LOVE one. If for nothing else but to have match rules for Ultimate X and maybe Lethal Lockdown. Something for Swingers Palace and/or Wrestle House would be uber cool too.

I think they mean the indy fed Impact Pro Wrestling from Iowa, which has been announced as getting a set (next year I think).

No, this is definitely the regular Impact. Does this mean there's something there, perhaps but I think they'd just announce it instead of tossing it in a teaser Sam wrote.

I can confirm Sam just tossed that in. We have no deal in the works with Impact Wrestling. Just Impact Pro from Iowa.
