They should just do what Disney did with the muppets and put up a disclaimer.

What are the odds ECW gets completely truncated but all of those DX segments from 97-98 get left in with a disclaimer

Will they even bother with ECW on Peacock? They might just put milestone events from the past and the last few years of WWE content on it and call it a day.

Would not surprise me if only those sanitized WWE DVD releases like rise and fall get put up.

Would not surprise me if only those sanitized WWE DVD releases like rise and fall get put up. Honestly, R&F and Blood Sport are the two least sanitized ECW DVDs that WWE put out and funny enough, also the best. No real crowd edits, most foul language left in (basically all of it as far as I recall). Everything that came after had massive, glaring edits though but I guess the trade off is those "Unreleased" sets, the third one in particular, came with a lot of stuff that was never made available anywhere in full, or in general. Will they even bother with ECW on Peacock? They might just put milestone events from the past and the last few years of WWE content on it and call it a day. Apparently there's like three ECW PPVs on there right now, and two of them are among the five best shows ECW ever did IMO (Anarchy Rulz 2000 and Massacre on 34th Street).

You have to think there's some executives at Peacock not wanting there to be more wrestling content than everything else.

You have to think there's some executives at Peacock not wanting there to be more wrestling content than everything else. Probably, but Peacock doesn't have near the amount of worthwhile content compared to HBO Max or Disney+ or even Paramount+. I guess the big deal with WWE is their way of trying to bridge that gap.

I wonder how many Peacock subscribers who weren't subscribers to the Network will give wrestling a chance, though.
"Hey, honey, do you want to watch The Office?" "No, dear, let's watch Wrestlemania III. I hear that Andre the Giant finally gets what's coming to him."

"No, dear, let's watch Wrestlemania III. I hear that Andre the Giant finally gets what's coming to him." The Network acquisition is 100% them trying to bring wrestling fans onto their service. I seriously doubt anyone is checking out the wrestling footage who isn't already a wrestling fan.
