Colby Corino & CW Anderson eliminated by Chris Hero after Hero tosses Anderson into Corino & they both go flying over the top rope

Bad News Allen eliminated by Jay Bradley

Jay Bradley and Chris Hero are the last two entrants left and one will become the first ever Battle of Tradition Champion!! Hero lands the DEATH BLOW for a long 2-count but Bradley responds to a missed death jump w/ a huge Corner Big Boot. Bradley turns Chris inside out w/ the BOOMSTICK for the win and the title!!

Afterwards, Bradley runs off Colby Corino & CW Anderson with the title belt as they tried attacking Hero. Bradley grabs the house mike and officially enters the Scramble match at Night #2 for his first official title defense!



---From Russia With Love (Alex Koslov/Leyla Hirsch) go over Eric Young/Portia Perez after Hirsch hits a Rising Knee Strike on Portia in a very competitive match. During the match, Koslov put Young through a table and turned the match into a 2-on-1 in their favor.



---Calvin Tankman goes over Shane Mercer after nearly crushing Mercer w/ the GF DRIVER. Afterwards, KTB jumps Tankman and leaves him laying w/ GO TO BEAST in an impressive display of strength.



---Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero/Berreta) go over Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher/Mark Davis) after they plant Fletcher w/ STRONG ZERO in a great match.



---In a huge Grudge Match inside a Steel Cage, Nicole Matthews gets a big win over Killer Kelly w/ an AVALANCHE VANCOUVER MANEUVER onto a pile of steel chairs in the middle of the ring. Bloody match that seemed like Nicole wasn't in danger of losing. Afterwards, Nicole grabs the house mike and tells Masha that she's coming for her.



---In the Main Event for the Frontier Championship, Josh Alexander (c) retains over Tim Storm, winning w/ repeated ANKLE LOCKS. Storm landed awkwardly on a dive from the top turnbuckle to the outside and appeared to twist his ankle. This was the opening that Alexander needed and he went to work on that ankle to set up the finish. The two shake hands afterwards to end Night #1.

....Night #2 will be headlined by a 'Super Dream' match as Bryan Danielson battles AJ Stylesin the Main Event....



....Plus, 3 title matches and a Steel Cage match....

---Battle for Tradition Championship Scramble: Jay Bradley (c) goes over Jimmy Lloyd, Jordan Oliver, Alex Kane, Colby Corino, & Chris Hero. Hero looked to have won when he crushed Corino w/ the DEATH BLOW but Bradley pulled Hero off Corino and blasted Chris w/ the BOOMSTICK to retain the title.



---In a 4-Way Tag Match, Iron Beast goes over the Von Erichs, PME, & Bear Country after they hit Bear Boulder w/ the POWERBOMB & BRIDGING SUPLEX to get the win. The Von Erichs and Bear Country went at each other throughout the match and could be leading to a series of tag encounters further down the line.



---In a Steel Cage Match, Jake Something gets the win over Mike Bailey w/ Veda Scott after putting Bailey through a stack of tables w/ MFKR. During the match, Veda was able to get the cage door open and slide several tables into the ring as Bailey repeatedly slammed Something w/ the cage door. Jake rallied back to get the win in the end but was jumped by Rhino afterwards who GORE'd him through a table to a loud chorus of boos.



---For the Frontier Women's Championship, Masha Slamovich (c) retains over LuFisto after hitting the WHITE KNIGHT DRIVER before locking in Kremlin Walls. LuFisto nailed the champ w/ the BURNING HAMMER but Alex Koslov jumps on the ring apron, allowing Leyla Hirsch to land the MOONSAULT on LuFisto. Masha recovered and went on to retain the title. We get a huge stare down between From Russia With Love and the NINJAs/Eric Young afterwards.



---For the Frontier Tag Team Championship, America's Most Wanted (c) retained over Monster Sauce after AMW hit Alex Zayne w/ DEATH SENTENCE in a great bout. Look for these two teams to lock horns again in the very near future.



---In the huge Super Dream Match Main Event, AJ Styles goes over Bryan Danielson in a 35-minute back and forth instant classic, winning w/ the STYLES CLASH. They shake hands with each other as the crowd gives them a standing ovation. Josh Alexander comes out and shakes both combatants hands as AJ tells him he wants a shot at the Frontier title to close the show.

I love seeing different champions in feds on here, so enjoyed seeing Jay Bradley win and then retain the Battle For Tradition Championship. Styles vs Danielson will always be a classic, regardless of the winner, but can Styles overcome Josh Alexander?!

'Peach City Brawl'
Frontier #56; Center Stage; ATL; 23 Sept 2023

---Scramble Match opens things up as Rey Horus goes over Flip Gordon, Jack Cartwheel, and Roderick Strong after dropping Gordon w/ the PIZZA DDT for the finish. Excellent match that was all action throughout.



---Suge D/Myron Reed get the win over Phlliy Marino Experience after Suge drops the SUGAR HIGH HEADBUTT on Marino as Reed set up the move w/ a Stundog Millionaire.



---Manders make his first Frontier appearance in over a year and puts down Jimmy Lloyd w/ the SECOND ROPE POWERBOMB. Manders dominated the match as Lloyd got very little offense in.



---For the Frontier Middleweight Championship, Kerry Morton steals the win from Jeremy Wyatt (c) after Ricky Morton gets involved and low-blows the champ as Kerry was distracting the referee. This led right into KISS IT GOODBYE and Kerry Morton is the new champ!!



---From Russia With Love go over the Canadian NINJAs after Masha forces Portia to submit to Kremlin Walls. Afterwards, Masha/Leyla double-team Nicole and put her through a table w/ the WHITE KNIGHT DRIVER. The duo stand over their fallen foes as the boos rain down from the crowd.



---Calvin Tankman gets the win over KTB in a hard-hitting match w/ the TANKMAN DRIVER.  Good hoss match.



---In the Main Event, Jake Something goes over Rhino after Rhino misses a turnbuckle charge and Jake rolls him up for the pin. However, Jake gets GORE'd afterwards as he was getting his hand raised in victory. This feud is far from over.

Alittle but if a dirty win there by Kerry Morton. I did not expect that. Something/Rhino is a great feud and does not seem over by a long shot. Great job, and keep it up!

---In an excellent opener, Suge D goes over Caleb Konley after landing the SUGAR HIGH HEADBUTT.



---The Von Erichs get the win over Bear Country after dropping Bronson w/ the IRON CLAW/BACK SUPLEX combo. Afterwards, War Beast hit the ring and toss Bear Country to the floor and set their sights on the Von Erichs. Ross gets tossed to the floor and posted by Josef Sammael before Sammael starts digging at Ross' forehead with a railroad spike while Marshall and Jacob Fatu are trading stiff rights and lefts in the ring. A ton of security hits the ring and separates the two teams but Ross had to be helped to the back and taken to a local hospital to be checked out.



---Roderick Strong goes over Rich Swann w/ a Gibson Driver in a good back & forth match.



---In a big Grudge Match, Nicole Matthews gets the win over Leyla Hirsch after interference from Masha Slamovich backfires and Matthews hits the VANCOUVER MANEUVER for the finish. Afterwards, Masha tries to hit Nicole w/ a belt shot but Nicole sends Masha to the floor w/ a huge Lariat. These two will face off in the main event of our next big card for Masha's Women's championship.



---A reunited Kings of Wrestling take down Erick Stevens/Austin Aries after they hit KRS (+2) on Aries for the finish. The Kings get a standing ovation from the fans afterwards.



---In the main event for the Frontier Championship, Josh Alexander retains over Jon Davis after surviving 3 SECONDS AROUND THE WORLD, comes storming back to hit the C4 SPIKE for the finish.

'Of Monsters & Wo(Men)'

---In the opener, Manders goes over Alex Kane in a hard-hitting match. Manders hit Alex w/ the 2nd ROPE POWERBOMB for the finish.



---For the Frontier Middleweight Championship, Kerry Morton (c) got the win over Rey Horus with a little help from Ricky Morton. As Kerry had the referee distracted, Ricky blasted Rey w/ the title belt. This led to KISS IT GOODBYE to get Kerry the win.



---AJ Styles/CW Anderson go over Josh Alexander/Ethan Page after AJ levels Josh w/ the STYLES CLASH in a great tag bout. This match was a precursor for when Josh defends the Frontier title against AJ in two weeks.



---In a heated grudge match, Jacob Fatu gets the win over Marshall Von Erich after landing the BSME for the finish. Marshall put up a helluva fight but just couldn't over come the 2-on-1 situation w/ Josef Sammael interfering at every turn. At one point outside of the ring, Sammael bludgeoned Von Erich with his railroad spike before the ref could pry Sammael off Marshall. Afterwards, a bloodied Von Erich told Sammael that he would see him in the ring in two weeks at SALUTE.



---For the Frontier Tag Team Championship, America's Most Wanted (c) retain their titles over Iron Beast after landing DEATH SENTENCE on Shane Mercer for the finish. Manders was providing commentary for the match which James Storm took an offense to and starting jawing at Manders during the match. Afterwards, both Storm and Chris Harris were jawing w/ Manders before Storm levels Manders w/ LAST CALL that sends Manders flying over the broadcast table.



---In a Tables Match, Jake Something puts Rhino through two stacked tables w/ a Something Bomb from the top turnbuckle!! Rhino just couldn't hit GORE as he had Something propped up onto a table in the corner twice but Jake moved out of the way both times.



---In a Death Match, John Wayne Murdoch goes over Nick Gage after a masked man gets involved in the match as Gage had Murdoch set up for the CHOKE BREAKER. The interference allowed Murdoch to drop Gage through two panes of glass stacked between two chairs w/ the BRAINBUSTER. Afterwards, the masked man revealed himself to be Matt Cardona as the fans almost boo'd him out of the building. Cardona soaks in the boos before flipping the crowd off and leaving the ring.

Main Event for the Frontier Women's Championship
Half Barbed Wire Cage Death Match
Masha Slamovich (c) vs Nicole Matthews

---The bad blood has been raging between Masha and Nicole for over 3 months now as the two tear into each other from the get go. The barbed wire cage gets put to use early as both rake each others faces across the barbed wire, leaving both wearing the crimson mask. The two take turns bashing each other with light tubes, steel chairs, and a barbed wire bat that Masha pulled out from under the ring. Masha puts Nicole on top of a door/light tube tower combo help up by two chairs and lands a sick death jump but somehow Nicole kicks out at 2!!

Later in the match, Nicole puts Masha through a pane of glass between two chairs w/ the VANCOUVER MANEUVER but Masha is the one who kicks out at two. The sequence gets a huge pop from the crowd. The match goes over the 15-minute mark before Masha is able to put Nicole through a stacked pane of glass w/ the WHITE KNIGHT DRIVER to get the win. There was no hand shake afterwards as a bloody Masha taunted Nicole w/ the title belt before dumping her out of the ring to a loud chorus of boos.

There is still two months left in 2023 but I feel that Masha is the Frontier Wrestler of the Year and it's not even close. We will see who steps up to challenge the dominate champion in the near future.

A great win for Jake Something against Rhino, and for Murdoch there as well (albeit with a little outside involvement). Masha is in her element in those brutal surroundings and I would absolutely agree to her being WOTY!
