'Black & Blue 2024: Night #2'
Frontier #79; Kentucky State Fairgrounds; Louisville, KY; 1 Sept 2024

---In the opener for the Frontier Middleweight Championship, Kyle O'Reilly (c) retained over his tag team partner, Bobby Fish after he forces Fish to submit to ARMAGEDDON. Fish initially showed frustration at his loss but eventually shook Kyle's hand.



---Jazz/Jordynne Grace go over Kenzie Paige/Ella Envy after Jazz locks in the STF on Ella for the finish. Huge brawl between Jordynne and Kenzie afterwards that was eventually broken up by security.



---Jake Something went over Jay Bradley by DQ after O'Shay Edwards, Simon Gotch, & Wrecking Ball Legursky jumped Jake during the match. Jake took a beating from the four until the Von Erichs & 'Cowboy' James Storm chased the heels from the ring. Jake got to his feet, grabbing the house mike and lays out a challenge to Bradley and his crew.

Jake challenges them to WARGAMES on Sept 27. Bradley accepts the challenge under one condition and that is if his team wins, he gets a Frontier title shot at Frontier's 'Black Friday' show in November.



---In the rubber match between these two, Eddie Edwards goes over Zack Sabre Jr w/ the BOSTON KNEE PARTY to win the series 2-1.



---Grizzled Young Vets vs Samoan Swat Team went to a No Contest after SAnitY jumped both teams during the match. Things get crazier as Violence Is Forever run down with steel chairs and start swinging at anybody moving. Finally, security hits the ring to break up the brawl. Up until then, the match was a great tag match with members of both teams kicking out of finishers galore. Combined token totals for GYV was 8 and SST was 7.



---In the Main Event for the Frontier Championship, Marshall Von Erich (c) retains over Keith Lee, winning w/ the PENDULUM CLAW SLAM. Great match as both competitors kicked out of pin attempts after several big moves. Both shake hands afterwards as the crowd gave their approval.

---In the opener for the Frontier Tag Championship, Los Macizos (c) retain over NIck Iggy/Kerry Awful after they put Nick Iggy down w/ the DOOMSDAY DEVICE in a better than expected match.



---Karl Fredericks goes over Kevin Ku in a good match that saw both competitors busted open. Fredericks drops Ku w/ MANIFEST DESTINY for the finish.



---For the Frontier Middleweight Championship, Kyle O'Reilly retains over Hunter Drake, winning w/ ARMAGEDDON in his V2 title defense.



---In a great tag match, Masha Slamovich/Killer Kelly go over Jazz/Jordynne Grace after Killer Kelly puts Jazz to sleep w/ MORTE SUBITA. Afterwards, Kelly challenges Jazz for the Women's title at 'Of Monsters & (Wo)Men coming up on 26 Oct.

---Eddie Edwards continues his win streak after getting the win over Jay White w/ a Blue Thunder Bomb in a **** match.



---Deonna Purrazzo steals one from Kenzie Paige after hitting a cross body from the top rope and grabbing Kenzie's tights for extra leverage. Kenzie is irate as Deonna laughs at her angry opponent.



---In the 'WARGAMES' Main Event, Jay Bradley/Wrecking Ball Legursky/Simon Gotch/O'Shay Edwards go over Jake Something/The Von Erichs/'Cowboy' James Storm after Storm turns on his team and blasts Jake Something w/ a beer bottle. Storm plants Jake w/ LAST CALL that sends Jake careening back into the DOUBLE CHOKESLAM from the Fixxers for the finish.

Afterwards, Storm and 'Wildcat' Chris Harris beat the Von Erichs to a pulp before security can hit the ring to break up the melee. Bradley grabs the house mike as the show ends, telling Marshall that he will see him in San Antonio on Veteran's Day to take the title off his waist.

---The opener has a 'Heavy Hitters' Sole Survivor Match between Allysin Kay, Deonna Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace, Kenzie Paige, & Masha Slamovich.

Kenzie Paige eliminates Masha Slamovich w/ a Package Piledriver.

Jordynne Grace eliminates Allysin Kay w/ the GRACE DRIVER.

Deonna Purazzo eliminates Kenzie Paige w/ a Queen's Gambit.

Deonna Purazzo eliminates Jordynne Grace w/ the FUJIWARA ARMBAR.

Deonna wins the Sole Survivor Match and will get a Women's title shot at our 'Black Friday' card on 29 Nov.



---Wes Brisco & Simon Gotch put on another classic, reminiscent of their match at 'Black & Blue' in August. However, this time Wes Brisco gets the duke as he pins Simon after hitting a Jumping Flatliner for the finish.



---SAnitY goes over Violence is Forever after they hit CONTROLLED CHAOS on Dominic Garrini for the finish.



---In a Death Match, the debuting Hoodfoot gets the win over Jimmy Lloyd after putting him through a stack of light tubes w/ the GHOSTBUSTER in a better match than expected.

---For the Frontier Middleweight Championship, Kyle O'Reilly (c) and Francesco Akira go to a good **** match that ends in a 20-minute Time Limit Draw. Akira had just landed SPEEDFIRE as the bell sounded to end the match. The two shook hands afterwards as these two will met again in the very near future.

---For the Frontier Tag Team Championship, Grizzled Young Vets get a DQ win over Los Macizos (c) after the Samoan Swat Team rush the ring and attack both teams. SAnitY and Violence Is Forever run out to join the brawl as all hell breaks loose before a ton of security can break things up. Look for an announcement concerning this situation after the show.



---For the Frontier Women's Championship, Jazz (c) goes over Killer Kelly, winning w/ the STF in hard-hitting match. Kelly had her moments during the match but Jazz kept coming back.



---In the 'Cage of Survival' Main Event, Nick Gage/Pagano (Poke's PWI 2022 set) go over Kevin Thorn/Vampiro after Pagano puts Vampiro through a stack of tables & light tubes w/ an AIR RAID CRASH from the top of a scaffolding at ringside. Brutal match that saw Shelly Martinez try to get involved but Gage ended her night by putting her through a pane of glass w/ the a PILEDRIVER. Gage and Thorn also bleed heavily as well.

The main event for the 'Black Friday' on 29 Nov 2024 will be contested in a 5-team Sole Survivor match that will feature the teams listed below.

The team that survives will walk out with the titles.
