How many feds or promotions are you currently running? Want to create a sort of NWA/territory vibe.

Impossible answer in my opinion . How many times have I said to myself that's it NO more feds unless there is AEW , WWE or/and Impact Wrestling edition/s . But with Legends and Indies just keep on coming . You do wonder is there too many wrestlers in a current legends/ indies then fed with say 32/45 single wrestlers on the rosters . Okay go on one more . It doesn't help when my wife and mother-in-law keep offering me biscuit / chocolate tin at say Christmas .

I love this idea and have dreamed about doing it myself many times. Such a big project but could be so great if done without being overwhelmed.
My idea would include one main fed (call it the NWA). You have your main guys there and your top title. Say it has a 40 man roster limit. You run X amount of cards per month (say 3) and a supercard every 2 or 3 months. In the meantime your top champion travels through the territories
Then you create your smaller territories. Say 5 regions. Pick your top 3-5 stars in each region. Run 1 or 2 cards a month rotating in and out your undercard talents. Your main champion from your main fed competes and defends versus these wrestlers.
As things grow and develop you move guys from your regional feds up into your top fed while moving guys out and into the lower regions (could be based on performance or just it’s up to you promoter). It’s exciting just taking about it. One day I’ll try it.
Would be great fun tracking who the strongest champs are as they defend the big belt throughout the regions.

I kind of do this already, so far just running tournaments to create Champions. Sort of sporadic right now, but will be an NWA Territory system of LOW/Indies.
So to answer your ? Of how many? Here's mine:
NWA Powerrrr (mix of all the promotion) ROH Chikara EVOLVE CWFH CZW Prime Time (Best of...ie: NXT, AEW, MLW, Impact, etc) Shimmer Legends
My plan is to run like 3-4 house shows & one PPV card for each territory and that would be a "year" and start a new season after that!

I have a large system with the NWA at the top. They are the overseeing organization. Underneath are my 7 territories. So there's lots of titles. Each group has their own. The NWA has singles world, I-C, N-A, TV, Jr. hwt. and tag world, I-C, N-A, and six-man. USWA CEW MWE WWC EPW JWA AEW

Back in my younger days I did a territory system that had 3 promotions and a Japanese territory that did a tour system. It was a lot of fun and really let some off beat names get some time to shine in smaller organizations. I just don't have the time to run side promotions now. I try to get up Saturday morning and do the weekly TV and then if I am lucky I might get a house show in during the week. I just can't keep up with more than one promotion anymore.

So my original idea was that I would run my main fed LAW like the NWA and run on Saturdays and then some day I would go back and do territories that would run during the week.
That being said I've had a lot of fun trying to catch up and have ideas in place to do this just not sure it will happen lol

How many feds or promotions are you currently running? Want to create a sort of NWA/territory vibe. I'm only doing one but I'll soon start a second one built around the vintage guys. If I was going to do a territory thing with a shared champion, I'd probably do three to start with, 30-40 guys in each. I'd just appoint the territorial champions and have a tournament for the big belt. I'd also create a calendar to keep track of where the main champion is.

I don't have a territory system.
Instead for LOW, I have a 3-way brand split to maximize the number of wrestlers I use while keeping my rosters at a manageable size.
For my Indy feds, with the new IWTV set, I just announced VWTV (Vegas Wrestling TV) with different promotions based in Las Vegas that will run once per month. Each promotion will have its own champion but there will also be a VWTV Champion who defends that championship in all of the VWTV promotions on a rotating basis. So that is sort of like a territory system (except for geographically as my VWTV promotions will all be in 1 city on the same channel- VWTV-and just rotate their shows on a weekly basis.)
