The Road to GalactiCon 2021 Kickoff Event

Tournament Master had earlier told me they were looking at the Philadelphia area for Galacticon this year and I told him that Major League Wrestling was having their 1st show in front of fans in almost 1 1/2 years the Saturday night of that weekend at the ECW Arena.

Cort Bauer has said that tickets are going fast and there is limited seating capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions which is currently at 25% for that venue. That percentage is expected to rise at least a little, but if you are going I would definitely advise you to get your ticket or tickets ASAP.

I bought a 2nd-row seat to this MLW show as front row is already sold out.

This will be the 3rd time I have gone to a show at the ECW Arena on Galacticon weekend in Philadelphia as I previously went to ROH in 2016, EVOLVE (their 10th Anniversary show) in 2019, and now MLW this year.

After Galacticon I am going somewhere else for a few days and then I will be in Iowa starting that Thursday for the Hall of Fame weekend.

While not optimal, I'm looking at if its doable. I would like to do an in person G-Con for sure.

The hotel (& staff) last time were great, just so far from everything. Are the plans to use the same location? Not sure if I can go yet, but any early info is helpful.

MHardcore I am hoping you can make it, you can go see Major League Wrestling with me that Saturday night (just make sure to get your ticket to that MLW show ASAP if you are going.)

I'm really trying to talk myself into it, I really want to see MLW and bummed I missed out on the front row VIP package. And if anything I think my drive is 30 minutes less than MHARDCORE lol

yeah, I am going to be on the road for about 10 days in July

I thinks it’s a 7 hr or so drive from my house (which is long for me). I meant that Philly wasn’t close to the hotel. We spent a ton on Uber rides getting back n forth. The one night traffic was so bad it took us over an hour to get to Philly from our hotel. The hotel was very nice, just not in an great place if you want to see anything in the city.
