So it’s been awhile in the making but my first set is ready it was different trying to come together with a cohesive group of ladies but I think it works especially with the recent release of vintage legends. Much thanks to Jerod who contributed by formatting and checking over my work as well as by coming up with the stats for one of the ladies. The set consists of 8 ladies from wrestling’s golden age and a darling little surprise. I also did a card for Taya Valkyrie but she’s not part of the set.

Hi phantasyfan, Is the wrestler in your avatar part of the set as that art looks awesome. I am not too knowledgeable on female wrestling. I am interested in the set and wondering how to get a copy etc? Sounds awesome

wayne I believe the picture is Wendi Richter and that she may have been previously released by phantasyfan. I wish the forum had like a wiki of bootlegs to make them easy to find, phantasyfan has a lot of good boots to bolster ones female division

That is definitely Wendi and I believe she was released earlier. Some interesting names..wasn't Ethel recently put in the WWE HOF as a pioneer?

Yes, and apparently WWE did such a great job that they didn't bother to inform her family (same with most of the other "legacy" inductees, though) and they used footage of the WRONG WOMAN in their video package. I guess once they had that billion dollars of NBC Universal FU...nny money they just quit caring.  |

It’s incredible how difficult it can be to find competent workers these days. I was in a meeting a few days ago where a high ranking employee literally said “This is going to be a lot of work!” as they argued why they weren’t on board with the project. Nobody wants to work these days. Everybody just wants to play online. |

A great set. A lot of good names here. I hope in the near future, you release an opponent or two for Dagmar. Diamond Lil, Princess Little Dove and Gypsy Rose all come to mind.
