Ok Boys and Girls, Got an idea to do a new fed (Yes NGPW will still be going strong, Don't worry) that is a play off of the idea that Stu and his History of Joint Promotions is.
So here is how things will work on this. Instead of simulating the results like in NGPW, I will be rolling things out online using Cotgonline website. The inaugural card for the promotion will crown the champions but not in the way you think.
What I did was I put every singles wrestler into a random name wheel and spun it out til I had the list of 16 wrestlers. The top two names on the list will fight on the inaugural card to become the first champion of the promotion. What happens then is we start going down the list with each card. Since every match is a title match, Once a champion loses the title. He takes the place of the wrestler on the list that he lost to and we move to the next person on the list. The only way someone can get a rematch right away for a title is if the champion is disqualified and retains his title. We will then go back to the wheel and give it a spin to see what match they will face off against for the title. Same thing happens with the tag team division as well. I tested this out a few nights ago and I was really have fun with it and cruised through 5 cards before I knew it (not hard since each show is only 2 matches but you get the idea.)
Time to see who can set some records and what surprised are in store for us.

GWF Progress - 1.2.87 Press Release - From The GWF Progress Home Office -
GWF Progress is a new promotion where only champions will wrestle every Saturday night against a new challenger. Year 1 (2087) will start with just two championships being defended. The GWF Galaxian Championship and The GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships.
Both singles wrestlers as well as tag teams in this promotion will all receive championship matches as they were randomly drawn and placed on a list in that order. Once a champion has been defeated, He will take the place of that person on the list and will have to wait for his rematch for the championship.
All matches in year 1 will take place at the home venue called the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. Year 2 will see the start of expansion for GWF Progress in terms of new arenas, championships and roster members.
The goal is simple, how long can someone hold on to a championship before they fall. How many days and defenses will they last with the pressure of being champion? 52 cards will happen each year. What upsets will we see if any? We only know one thing for sure...IT ALL BEINGS HERE!!!

- GWF Progress Tag Team Championships Match - Greek Gods vs. Gladiators of Aethra Actagon defeated Brute with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: This match was very much a back and forth technical battle. The Greek Gods almost ended it just mere seconds into it but Brute was able to barely kick out. The Gladiators did hold most of the offense in the match but in the end it was the GWF Progress Tag Team Champions coming out on top after Actagon slapped on the Grecian Sleep Grip on Brute for the victory.

I figured it to be a unique take on what you do with the Joint Promotions. As the years go on and the roster grows and more belts come into play the card will grow but stay with just the title belts being defended. It was a good system and I am glad you like the tweeks that I did to it. Thanks for the follow.

GWF Progress #3 Rise of the Rookie 01.18.2087 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena Overall Card Rating: 1.25 - Attendance: 152,579
- GWF Progress Tag Team Championships Match - Greek Gods vs. Neptunian Space-Croppers Proteus defeated Beast-Rider with an OVERHEAD TOSS Match Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: The Greek Gods continue to reign as tag team champions. Beast-Rider and Renegade were able to do some damage in the match but the tag team champions were able to capitalize on a mistake to hit the Overhead Toss for the win.
- GWF Progress Championship Match - Comrade Terror vs. Pulsar Comrade Terror defeated Pulsar with an ATOMIC WARHEAD Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Pulsar gave Comrade Terror a run for his money tonight. Held a good amount of offense in the match but when it spilled outside, Comrade Terror took over. In mere moves he nailed Pulsar with the Atomic Warhead for the win and retaining the GWF Progress Galaxian Championship.
After Match Promo: After the match was over, Terror stood tall over the fallen Pulsar with the belt over his shoulder. Terror leaned in and started telling Pulsar that Rookies don't belong with champions and slapped him. Terror then went to pick him up when the crowd started coming to their feet. We then notice that Commander Sam slides into the ring and Terror bails to the outside. Commander Sam said you want to pick on someone, Here I am and I am your next challenger. Comrade Terror has a look of disgust on his face as the show fades out.
