Speaking of the Dusty Finish. New Japan and All Japan loved their non-finishes to the point that the Kinnikuman manga made a joke about Inoki and Baba getting into a fight and both guys getting counted out.

All due respect to the Olsons, but Verne Gagne was really the most prolific practioner of not just Dusty Finishes, but pointless, counterproductive Dusty Finishes. Them's fighting words, Pete!  I like the AWA for the characters and interviews. The match finishes themselves could be best described as "disappointing". |

All Japan especially is fascinating for their booking philosophy changes through the later part of the 80s into the early 90s. |
