It seems so petty that the people who were released previously and now rehired with the new regime. Just petty. I think some of the releases in the first place were petty. Vince wanted to remove people who were close to triple H behind the scenes such as road dogg. Personally if they improve the show and do a good job I've no issue with them being rehired Same, I believe alot of the released were valuable, and the petty part was Vince, wanting to shake things up. Sometimes, it's ok to clean house, but damn...

Not surprised JJ is gone. I too actually forgot he had re-signed previously. Given that he had worked with the NWA and Ric Flair's final match, only makes me believe his employment at WWE wasn't that important. I kinda wonder if the hire was to keep him from doing anything with Impact at the big shows this year. He was with WWE during Slamm and released where he cannot be on BFG if he had a 60 day no compete.

I've already seen some of the former nxt UK stars announced for shows as early as next week. Millie McKenzie is on the GCW/TNT show With Double J being a Backstage agent essentially would he have a no compete clause? Can't remember if Scotty 2 hotty had one or not if anyone can remember?

Not sure if GCW/TNT is televised in any way beyond streaming so that is a factor. Also unless I am mistaken JJ did appear on TV, at least at a PPV I think, as a special referee. Thus making him an onscreen talent along with being backstage.

Nigel McGuiness has been released ......... Nigel is a fantastic commentator and an asset to any broadcast booth. He'll be great doing commentary for ROH next week. Well, this is one Tony Khan would be silly not to go after!

The following names have been released by the company:
Bodhi Hayward. He had been seen in skits/vignettes with Andre Chase University. Duke Hudson took him out as a way to write him off TV.
Sloane Jacobs. The 19 year old previously wrestled as The Notorious Mimi on the independent scene before signing with NXT in March of 2022. She had worked on some NXT live events and in the Women's Breakout Tournament.
Eric Yan, who last wrestled in September was also let go. She first appeared on NXT shows late last year.
Damaris Griffin, who was signed less than a year ago and appeared on NXT Level Up.
Ru Fend signed with WWE NXT last year and had been working as an enhancement talent.

I feel like once again it is a situation where one of them might go "Oh, that is right. I WAS signed by WWE. I forgot." Seriously, I wonder if WWE management or Tony Khan ever say to someone in their company that they should sign so and so only to have it pointed out that the person is already signed with their company.
