So I'm trying to find the original version that came out, so many moons ago, but that's proved impossible so far. I thought I should broadcast my search, see if anyone can point me in his direct? Any help would be much appreciated!

If I remember correctly, Hood was part of the comic book offer (NOT the Headlocked comic book) of Champions of the Galaxy (entitled "Genesis"?), but I might be mistaken.
If you got the comic book, they'd include Jack Hood. And I think the timeline for him was pre-2087, but I really don't know.
You'd have to ask TournamentMaster for more info, and to see if there are any copies of the comic book and Hood left.

That would be correct....something Kris Osk (and maybe someone else...it's been so long) did ages ago. It was an unofficial but very interesting thing. Closest we have to an official is the Jack Frost card. (not counting obviously his POW official card)
