The FG site says the G-Con rate at the Mainstay Inn is $101. I'm on the hotel website checking availability and the only room that comes up says $100.95. OK 5 cents cheaper but if $100 is their normal rate we're not getting a deal. I believe that’s significantly cheaper than last year. $100 a night isn’t too bad Probably not but I'm used to the $85 range when I go places. I was more saying that I'm not seeing a special deal. |

Just found out I’ll probably be sitting on a beach in Florida during GCon. Awesome.
I love the beach, but won’t get in the ocean, so since my cards have those plastic protectors, going to play legends on the beach. Even more awesome! lol

Have a good time all who go. I'll be helping virtually as I plan my trip to Waterloo this year instead. Will be back for physical G-Con when it heads to Chicago finally.

Troy, GCON actually ever going to go to Chicago? If so, that drive would be one I would be much more tempted to make (3.5 hours vs. closer to 15 hours). |

Last year when I went to The Collective in Indianapolis, I could not find a flight that left for Indianapolis late enough (I had to work the day before) without it being a red eye which I wanted to avoid since I wound be attending wrestling from something line 11AM until 3 AM. So instead I flew into Chicago (much more flights available to Chicago) that Wednesday night and then made the drive to Indianapolis with a friend. I don’t remember how long that drive was but I think it was shorter than the drive to PWG from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. |
