Yeah, Mance will likely be low on the card but making more money. Stability is important to people.

Yeah I guess that's fair, I always say I'm in things for the love of the game or sport but not sure I could say no to the money either.

I dont know, I might be a "homer" here ... but Pillman and Mance are crazy. Pillman was about to get pushed in MLW and now hes an undercard in AEw. If i was Mance i would not want to go to AEW. Theres 300 guys there, MLW has a lot less than that and youd probably get used better. There's way more money and more exposure in AEW than there likely ever will be in MLW.

Yeah I saw the card game , nearly fell off my chair . What's this ? . Out of curiosity has Mance Warner left ? I haven't seen him for ages on it Mance Warner is in a contract dispute with MLW. He wants to leave for AEW who has indicated they want to sign him and MLW won't release him from his contract. Unlike the contract for Brian Pillman Jr., it appears Mance Warner's MLW contract does not allow him to work for both MLW and AEW. I think Pillman Jr. is under an actual AEW deal now. I read back in like November/December that his MLW deal was expiring towards the end of 2020. Yeah I guess that's fair, I always say I'm in things for the love of the game or sport but not sure I could say no to the money either. Well the rumor is (and Tony Khan kinda confirmed this when he talked about signing MJF) that most of MLW's contracts guarantee below minimum wage (which is why virtually none of the talent were exclusive pre-pandemic and worked a ton of indies) and AEW, even at the lowest level guarantees, pays more than a living wage...it's pretty easy to see why guys want to leave for higher paying jobs. It's a career for some of them and not a hobby, after all. The whole point is to make as much as you can and retire and live comfortably. Curt Hennig said it best, "you get in to get out".

I remember it being reported he had been trying to get out of his MLW contract last Summer as MLW was not doing any shows at that time.

Yeah, I remember those reports and Pillman was definitely working AEW before the MLW deal was up. Harry Smith was trying to get out of his deal as well but there's no real indication of where he's going yet. I was assuming WWE.

Trouble is AEW is the cool place to be at the moment . Yeah I would consider being on TV and getting paid handsomely pretty cool.

It seems as if AEW is pushing Pillman Jr's stock up. Varsity Blondes (Pillman, Jr and Griff Garrison) are booked against The Young Bucks for the titles tonight on Dynamite. Of course, I don't expect a title change, but getting booked with the Bucks has to count for something.
