Thanks, throwingtoasters and navy! Good to have you both along for the ride. I have rolled the Night of Champions card (and two other TV cards) and will be posting those results later this week (time permitting). For now I can tell you that two new names have entered the LPW. Also, throwingtoasters, you will be happy to know that The Spoiler got back on track with a win, so hopefully he'll be working his way toward the top of the card soon.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #9
Today's show opens with Gordon Solie's preview of the next LPW event, which is the inaugural Night of Champions house show. As announced last week, the semifinal matchups in the LPW tag team and heavyweight title tourneys will be the Killer Bees vs Too Much, Marcus Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio vs The Dream Team, The Patriot vs. Tiger Conway, Jr, and Stevie Richards vs Joe Blanchard. The semifinal winners will meet at the end of the show to determine the first LPW champions. To tide viewers over until then, we have four great matches today that feature some of the top names who have been eliminated from the title tourneys.
Ted DiBiase (with Johnny V) defeats Jake "The Milkman" Milliman DiBiase walked out to the ring wearing a black leather glove for the first time. Johnny V joined Solie on commentary and said the glove is a symbol of DiBiase's new mindset after he was unfairly disqualified in his quarterfinal match versus Tiger Conway Jr. He says it will be no more Mr Nice Guy from DiBiase. Milliman can attest to that after being pummeled and then pinned after DiBiase's full power slam.
Bob Armstrong defeats George South Armstrong won an easy victory with his Georgia Jawjacker. After the match, Angelo Poffo and Jim Dillon walked out and Poffo grabbed the mic to officially invite Armstrong to become the #4 man in the Old School stable (now that he had finally won another match). Armstrong said he had reconsidered his previous plan to go it alone in the LPW... but he would still never join Old School. As Poffo and Dillon looked on with confusion, Armstrong announced that his new teammate was in the building. At that moment, Jackie Fargo strutted out from the curtain and the four men exchanged blows in a Pier Six brawl as the show went to break!
After the commercials, Poffo and Dillon were nowhere in sight. A disheveled Fargo and Armstrong told Solie that they would keep beating up the members of Old School whenever they cross their path.
The Spoiler defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay Jay proved to be a capable opponent, but The Spoiler used his Bionic Claw to get back on the winning side of the ledger after being upset in the tournament by Stevie Richards.
The Russians (Alexis Smirnoff & Boris Zhukov) defeat The Blue World Order (Blue Meanie and Super Nova) Smirnoff pinned Meanie after a piledriver to gain the expected victory, despite a solid showing from the bWo.
Solie closed the show with a reminder of the great tournament matchups at the upcoming Night of Champions show. Get your tickets now!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) House Show #1: Night of Champions
Gordon Solie welcomes viewers to this closed circuit television presentation during which we will crown the inaugural LPW heavyweight and tag team champions. Let's go straight down to the ring...
The Killer Bees (Jumpin' Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) defeat Too Much (Scott Taylor & Brian Christopher) Brunzell and Blair targeted Taylor and wore him down, keeping Christopher on the outside for most of the match. Blair ultimately gained the pinfall over Taylor after a Bee Sting.
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeat Marcus Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio Bagwell and Scorpio controlled much of the action, and Bagwell gained near pinfalls on both members of the Dream Team. However, Beefcake eventually caught Bagwell with a jumping high knee for the 1-2-3. As expected, the championship match later tonight will feature the Killer Bees versus the Dream Team.
Tiger Conway, Jr defeats The Patriot This was a shocking outcome in the first heavyweight tournament semi! The Patriot was the odds-on favorite to win the title, but his hopes were dashed when the evil Russians, Alexis Smirnoff and Boris Zhukov, approached the ring while Conway was down. Zhukov distracted the referee and Smirnoff choked The Patriot with a Russian chain before hightailing it to the locker room. Conway was oblivious to the interference, but when he regained his feet, he saw an opening to catch The Patriot with a flying headbutt. Conway went for the pin, and just like that, The Patriot's title hopes were dashed. In a show of good sportsmanship, Conway helped The Patriot out of the ring and toward the back.
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon) defeats Stevie Richards (with The Blue Meanie & Super Nova) Blanchard had Richards in trouble numerous times, but Richards kept kicking out of the pin attempts. Poffo and Dillon eventually took matters into their own hands on the outside, as Dillon started a fracas with Meanie and Nova while Poffo slipped brass knuckles to Blanchard. Blanchard blasted Richards with the foreign object and covered him for the pin. It will be Joe Blanchard vs Tiger Conway, Jr for the heavyweight title in tonight's main event.
The Killer Bees (Jumpin' Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) defeat The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with "Luscious" Johnny V) The Bees came in as the fresher of the two teams, and it made a difference as the match wore on. Valentine and Beefcake got early heat on Brunzell and nearly pinned him multiple times, but they wore themselves out, and in the end Valentine succumbed to Blair's sleeper, while Beefcake and Johnny V were unsuccessful in their attempts to save him. The Killer Bees are the inaugural LPW Tag Team Champions!
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon) defeats Tiger Conway, Jr. In a near repeat of Blanchard's semifinal match with Stevie Richards, Blanchard controlled the action, racking up six fatigue tokens on Conway, but he had trouble putting him away. Ever impatient, Angelo Poffo jumped onto the apron to distract the ref while Dillon took off his boot and hit Conway upside the head, allowing Blanchard to cover him. Joe Blanchard is the first-ever LPW Heavyweight Champion!
After the match, the Blue World Order ran down to ringside to tell the referee what had happened, but the referee indicated that he couldn't call what he couldn't see. The members of Old School celebrated inside the ring and mocked the "crybabies" in the Blue World Order. Solie closed the show by telling fans to tune into the LPW's weekly TV show next week for more exciting action.

The Patriot defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay The Patriot wins a quick match with a Star-Spangled Suplex. During his post-match interview, he's interrupted by the Russians (Alexis Smirnoff and Boris Zhukov) and a melee ensues as we go to commercial. The Blue World Order (Blue Meanie & Super Nova) defeats Chaz Taylor & Tug Taylor Nova beats Tug Taylor with a step-up tornado DDT for the win. There's a dance party in the interview area after the win, and Meanie gets Solie to briefly join him in the Meanie Dance!
Old School (Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon, with Joe Blanchard) defeats Ric McCord & Jake "The Milkman" Milliman The Old Schoolers ran into a little trouble with the plucky dup of McCord and Milliman, but Poffo finally beat Milliman with a neckbreaker. After the match, Poffo bragged to Solie about Blanchard's title win last week. He dodged Solie's questions about the team's use of foreign objects to help Blanchard win, explaining that everyone is jealous of Blanchard's success. Because of the threats they're receiving, he announces that Old School has added a new member for added protection. Here he is: Bob Orton, Sr! Orton comes out and tells Solie that everyone should think twice before challenging any of the members of Old School.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #11
Gordon Solie welcomes viewers back to another exciting week of action. Let's get straight to the ring...
Tiger Conway, Jr. defeats George South Conway, the #2 ranked challenger for the heavyweight title, wins with a flying headbutt in an impressive showing. After the match he tells Solie that he thinks he deserves a rematch with Joe Blanchard. Ted DiBiase then comes out and says that they have unfinished business because Conway knocked him out of the tournament on a technicality, but they both know he's the better man. Conway accepts the challenge.
Bob Orton, Sr. defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Kay Orton's in-ring debut goes very well, as he wins with a piledriver.
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeats Ric McCord & Jake Milliman In a quick match, Beefcake pins Milliman after a jumping high knee. After the match, the members of the Dream Team tell Solie that they're the #1 contenders for the tag belts and they want a rematch with the Killer Bees at the next house show.
Stevie Richards (with Super Nova & The Blue Meanie) defeats Tug Taylor (with Chaz Taylor) Tug Taylor got the jump offensively and scored a pair of two counts on Richards, but Richards recovered and hit the Stevie Kick for the win.
At the end of the show, Solie interviewed Jackie Fargo and Bob Armstrong. They congratulated Stevie Richards as the Blue World Order walked by after Richards' match and pulled them into the interview. Armstrong said he had been talking to Commissioner Costa, and he thinks it would be a good idea for Old School to back up their tough talk and dirty tactics in the ring. Armstrong says he wants to be in the corner at the upcoming house show for matchups between Fargo and Bob Orton, Sr. and for a 6-man match between the Blue World Order and the other members of Old School, including the heavyweight champ. The bWo says that sounds great to them, and Fargo joins them for a celebratory dance as we go off the air.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #12
Gordon Solie opens the show with Commissioner Jeff Costa, who says that because of the bad blood between Old School and Armstrong, Fargo, and the Blue World Order, today's two main events will feature those men against each other before their bigger matches next week. He also confirms the matches for the upcoming house show. The lineup will include Jackie Fargo vs Bob Orton, Sr; a 6-man match featuring Joe Blanchard, Angelo Poffo, and Jim Dillon vs Stevie Richards, Blue Meanie, and Super Nova; Ted DiBiase vs Tiger Conway, Jr; The Patriot vs Alexis Smirnoff; a tag team title rematch between the Killer Bees and the Dream Team; and more! Now let's head down to this week's matches:
2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell defeat Chris Candido & Kenny Jay Scorpio pins Jay after a flying cross body block. It happened so fast that Candido never got into the match, but Candido took offense and stomped Jay after the bell. Scorpio and Bagwell made the save, with Candido gesturing at them on his way back to the dressing room.
Ted DiBiase (with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeats George South DiBiase wins a quick match with a full power slam. After joining Solie at the interview area, DiBiase and Johnny V say that Conway is probably scared and might not even show up for their match at the house show. If that happens, they'll find him somewhere and beat him in a back hallway if they have to.
Stevie Richards (with Super Nova & Blue Meanie) defeats Jim Dillon (with Joe Blanchard)
In a partial preview of the 6-man match at next week's house show, Richards beat Dillon with his Stevie Kick. Meanie and Nova kept Blanchard from interfering, and then held him up for Richards to give him a Stevie Kick too!
Jackie Fargo & Bob Armstrong defeat Angelo Poffo & Bob Orton, Sr. Fargo delighted the crowd when he beat Poffo with an atomic drop, but there's more to come in this feud when LPW newcomers Fargo and Orton face off in a singles match at the house show.
See you next week for our regular programming, which will precede the big late June house show. The Spoiler and the LPW tag team champs, the Killer Bees, will be in action on TV.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #13
Gordon Solie opens this episode by hyping the house show tomorrow night. The Killer Bees will be defending their titles against the Dream Team at that show, but here they are in today's opening bout...
The Killer Bees (Jumpin' Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) defeat Ric McCord & Jake "The Milkman" Milliman The tag team champs got a bit of a scare when Milliman gained a near fall on Brunzell with a falling head butt, but Blair eventually entered and beat Milliman with a sleeper.
The Spoiler defeats Chaz Taylor The Spoiler was in all kinds of trouble (picking up 5 fatigue tokens) and he nearly fell to Taylor's Chaztizer finisher. The only thing that saved The Spoiler was a masked lookalike entering the ring and breaking up the pin before he scampered away fromt he ringside area. The Spoiler took advantage of his new lease on life by pinning Taylor after a knee lift.
After the match, Solie asked The Spoiler who the second masked man was, but The Spoiler said he didn't know what he was talking about because he was the only masked man in the ring. Stay tuned in future weeks to see how this mystery unfolds.
Scott Taylor (with Brian Christopher) defeats Bob Armstrong (with Jackie Fargo) Scott Taylor (no relation to Chaz) picked up a great win when he beat Armstrong with a super kick. At the time of the kick, Armstrong was distracted by an impromptu strutting contest taking place outside the ring between Christopher and Fargo.
Marcus Bagwell (with 2 Cold Scorpio and The Patriot) wins by DQ over Boris Zhukov (with Alexis Smirnoff) Bagwell picked up the win after Zhukov was disqualified when he and Smirnoff used their Russian chain against Bagwell after he was thrown out of the ring. Scorpio and The Patriot intervened to save Bagwell and chase the Russians away. This development is sure to give The Patriot added incentive to beat Smirnoff at the upcoming house show.
See you at the house show, where the main events will include Tiger Conway, Jr vs Ted DiBiase and a 6-man match between the members of the Blue World Order and Old School.

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) House Show #2
Six big matches are lined up for this late June house show. Let's see what happens!
Chris Candido defeats 2 Cold Scorpio (with Marcus Bagwell) These two had a disagreement after a TV match last week, so they tried to settle it in the ring. Candido took advantage of his rare opportunity in the spotlight by scoring a good win. When Scorpio went for sunset flip, Candido countered with a roll up for the 1-2-3.
The Patriot (with Marcus Bagwell) defeats Alexis Smirnoff (with Boris Zhukov) The Patriot scored a clean win with his Uncle Slam and got some revenge for the Russians' many interference attempts against him in recent months.
Bob Orton, Sr (with Angelo Poffo) wins by DQ over Jackie Fargo (with Bob Armstrong) Orton picked up the win by DQ, but this burgeoning feud is far from settled. Fargo was disqualified when the ref spotted him pull out a pair of brass knuckles as Poffo was roughing him up on the outside. After the ref called for the bell, all four men brawled around the ring until ringside officials broke it up.
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeat The Killer Bees (Jumpin' Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) The LPW tag team belts changed hands when Valentine got Brunzell to submit to his figure-four leglock while Beefcake held back Blair from breaking the count. Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine are the new LPW Tag Team Champions! This rivalry between this fed's two top tag teams is sure to continue.
Tiger Conway, Jr defeats Ted DiBiase (with "Luscious" Johnny V) DiBiase demanded this rematch and declared himself the better man after losing by DQ to Conway in the LPW championship tournament. But Conway made him eat his words by winning this back and forth contest with a Flying Headbutt, despite Valiant's interference attempts. After the match, DiBiase was irate about losing to Conway again and he threw a tantrum in the ring.
Old School (Angelo Poffo, Joe Blanchard, & Jim Dillon) defeats The Blue World Order (Super Nova, Stevie Richards, & the Blue Meanie) This grudge match was won by the wily veteran grapplers of Old School who fought off some bWo pin attempts to emerge as the victors. Dillon gained the win when he hit a legdrop on the Blue Meanie and used the ropes for pinning leverage while the other four men exchanged blows outside the ring.
I'm now caught up with my backlog of match reports, so I'll see you back here next weekend for a recap of the upcoming LPW TV program, which will feature Ted DiBiase, The Spoiler, and a tag team match between Too Much and the Russians.
