After the match, Candido said this winning streak should earn him some respect and better matches.
The Spoiler defeats Redd Dogg Redd Dogg's debut was spoiled as his older masked opponent won with a devastating knee lift. After the match, Solie again asked The Spoiler when we're going to see more of the masked double who helped him last week. The Spoiler stormed off without answering.

Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) defeats The Russians (Alexis Smirnoff & Boris Zhukov) The Russians have been struggling in the ring of late after placing too much of their focus on unsuccessfully trying to eliminate The Patriot from the LPW. Next week you can look forward to seeing The Patriot and Jackie Fargo in singles matches, and our main event will be a tag team bout between Marcus Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio and the Old School team of Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon.

Really like the roster mix and the straight ahead presentation of this fed. Thanks, bookerbill! I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm not someone who typically mixes eras, but it's working well here. I still have a lot of interesting guys from Prime sets to introduce at some point, so I don't think the fed will get stale any time soon. Thanks for following!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) House Show #3 (late July)
Chris Candido defeats Konnan In a shocking upset, Candido beat the exciting newcomer, Konnan, with a Blonde Bomb after the luchador was briefly distracted by a beautiful blonde fan of Candido's in the audience. Look for a rematch between these two!
Jackie Fargo (with Bob Armstrong) defeats Boris Zhukov (with Alexis Smirnoff) Despite Smirnoff's interference attempt, Fargo had little trouble dispatching of Zhukov. He bloodied the Russian (5 fatigue tokens) and then finished him with a big atomic drop.
The Killer Bees (Jumpin' Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) defeat The Spoilers (I and II) The Bees controlled this one and picked up the win when Blair beat Spoiler II with a sleeper. He attempted to take the mask off his mysterious slumbering foe, but the original Spoiler made the save and preserved his partner's anonymity... for now.
Bob Orton, Sr. (with Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon) defeats Stevie Richards (with The Blue Meanie & Super Nova) There's been a lot of bad blood recently between the Blue World Order and Old School factions, and it was on display again in this one. Orton looked great in picking up the win with a piledriver, and after the match, the Old Schoolers entered the ring and mocked the bWo's dance routines.
The Dream Team (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine & Brutus Beefcake, with "Luscious" Johnny & Ted DiBiase) defeats 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell (with The Patriot) This exciting match for the tag team championship went back and forth, but the Dream Team retained their belts when Valentine pinned Bagwell after a throat drop on the ropes. After the match, DiBiase entered the ring and began roughing up the fallen Bagwell, but The Patriot shoved him aside and the two exchanged words. It looks like a new feud is brewing for these two!
Joe Blanchard (with Angelo Poffo & Bob Orton, Sr.) defeats Tiger Conway, Jr. LPW champion Joe Blanchard was in control of this match throughout, and in a rare development, he didn't need outside interference to win. He retained his title by beating Conway with his dreaded abdominal stretch.
Come back next weekend for another episode of LPW's TV program, which will feature Ted DiBiase, Bob Armstrong, and The Spoilers in action!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #19
The show opens with Gordon Solie's recap of last week's house show, featuring successful title defenses by Joe Blanchard and The Dream Team. He also presents the official LPW rankings for the month of August:
Singles
Champion-Joe Blanchard 1-The Patriot 2-Tiger Conway, Jr. 3-Ted DiBiase 4-Bob Orton, Sr. 5-Jackie Fargo 6-Stevie Richards 7-The Spoiler 8-Chris Candido 9-Konnan 10-Bob Armstrong
Tag Teams Champions-Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine) 1-Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) 2-2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Bagwell 3-Old School (Angelo Poffo & Jim Dillon) 4-Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) 5-Jackie Fargo & Bob Armstrong
Let's head to the ring for today's first match:
Chris Candido defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay Candido wins with a Blonde Bomb. Afterwards, he brags about his house show win over Konnan and makes fun of the luchador's skirt.
The Spoilers (I & II) defeat George South & Jake "The Milkman" Milliman The Spoiler (#1) beats South with a Bionic Claw.
After the match, the Killer Bees are interviewed about their big win over The Spoilers at the house show. They say they still want to de-mask the mysterious Spoiler II, but what they really want is another shot at the Dream Team so they can recapture the tag team belts.
Alexis Smirnoff (with Boris Zhukov) defeats Bob Armstrong (with Jackie Fargo) Smirnoff notched the victory with a heart punch, but Fargo chased off the Russians as they attempted to drape a Russian flag over the fallen Armstrong.
Ted DiBiase (with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeats Marcus Bagwell (with 2 Cold Scorpio) Bagwell felt he had a score to settle after DiBiase, who was in the Dream Team's corner, took liberties with him after the tag team match at the house show. But DiBiase proved to be too much in this match, winning with a full power slam.
In a post-match interview with Solie, DiBiase called out The Patriot, as the two had gotten into a shouting match at the end of the house show. The Patriot came out from the back and said, "You know I have a problem," which prompted DiBiase and Johnny V to attack him. The Patriot fought back and rammed DiBiase into a table. DiBiase appeared to be legitimately injured as the show went off the air. Come back next week to check on DiBiase's condition!

LPW (Legends Prime Wrestling) TV #20
Gordon Solie opens the show with an update on the health of Ted DiBiase, who was injured in a melee with The Patriot last week. Turns out that DiBiase will be out of action for 6 weeks. His manager, "Luscious" Johnny V storms out and demands that The Patriot be suspended. Commissioner Bruiser Costa comes out to say that won't be happening, so Johnny V threatens the entire LPW and says that payback won't be pretty.
Let's go to the matches... Konnan defeats "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay Jay almost pulled an early upset with an especially devastating Beell Throw, but Konnan fought back and won with a Niagara Driver.
Next, The Patriot comes out and says he was just defending himself last week and he didn't mean for DiBiase to get badly hurt, but he doesn't feel too sorry for him. He says his main concern now is landing a championship match against Joe Blanchard. That brings Angelo Poffo out from the back, and he says The Patriot can have a championship match as long as he can beat one of the members of Old School later today. The Patriot picks Poffo, and the so-called brains behind Old School is beside himself!
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, with "Luscious" Johnny V) defeats Jake "The Milkman" Milliman & George South Johnny V's revenge tour began here as Valentine quickly beat Milliman with a figure-four leglock, which he kept applied for a few extra seconds to inflict as much pain as possible.
Jackie Fargo (with Bob Armstrong) defeats Alexis Smirnoff (with Boris Zhukov) The latest installment in the rivalry among these four men was a wild one, as Smirnoff was split open and beaten when Fargo hit him with the pole holding the Russian team's flag. It all broke down outside the ring when Armstrong and Zhukov came to blows over Zhukov's attempted use of the flagpole to interfere. Armstrong wrestled the pole away and handed it to Fargo while the referee was distracted. The crowd was pleased with the outcome, to say the least.
Before the main event, The Patriot brings out Ranger Ross to watch his back. He tells Solie that his friends Marcus Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio aren't in the building today, so he called up his old friend Ross to keep an eye on any members of Old School who want to interfere.
The Patriot (with Ranger Ross) defeats Angelo Poffo (with Bob Orton, Sr.) The Patriot wins with an Uncle Slam after a long back and forth match. At one point, Ross saved The Patriot from certain doom when Orton attempted to interfere. With the win, The Patriot secures a championship match against Joe Blanchard at the house show in two weeks.
Come back next week when we'll see Bob Armstrong, Ranger Ross, and more great stars in action!
