I am going to try my hand at running an all female wrestling promotion. For those familiar with my Mad, Mad World posts this will take place in the same universe. I was going to add this promotion to that thread but that one is on hiatus and not sure when I will get back to it. Meanwhile thanks to Blehschmidt I have the five SHIMMER sets so got the creative juices flowing. I am organizing things and hope to have things set up in a few days. I plan on the next post to be an introduction/press release for the promotion and then start rolling cards. I am exciting to she where it goes. Just need to find time to work on it and stay focused. I tend to get distracted with other things including my COTG feds which I am having fun with.

Official Press Release
A new era in professional wrestling is about to begin. Some of the best in business and entertainment, men and women, have come together to form a company, Shattered Ceilings Entertainment. Their first project in an all-female wrestling promotion, XXciting Women's Wrestling (XXWW). They are bringing the best women wrestlers from around the world together to compete.
There will be a weekly TV show, Amazons, four times a month. Occasionally these shows will be longer than normal and have a special name. Eventually they plan on adding PPV specials. The second and third Amazons will each feature four qualifying matches to crown the inaugural XXWW World Champion. The eight winners will compete on card #4 in an eight-lady gauntlet match. Wrestlers are eliminated as they are tossed over the top rope until two are left. Those two will have a match to find out who the World Champion will be. At a later time XXWW will crown World Tag Team Champions.
It will take a special person to run things and make XXWW the place to be. That person is Hall of Famer Gail Kim as the GM. Calling the action will be future Hall of Fame inductees Victoria and Daffney on commentary. Both have had great careers in the ring so will know what they are talking about.

Card #1 - Birth of a Promotion
Cheerleader Melissa over Athena by pinfall.
A long, very good match. It went back and forth with both ladies having a chance. Melissa hit Air Raid Crash for the win. After the match Melissa offers her hand and Athena shakes it as fans cheer. Great way to start the era of XXWW.
Regeneration XX (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) beat Made In Sin (Allysin Kay & Taylor Made) by pinfall.
Danger and Bates came out to the ring with their arms forming an X over their heads. Victoria points out they've teamed before as Regeneration X but added a second X in honor of the promotion. They were a well oiled machine using frequent tags to control their opponents. They hit their tag finisher, Sonic Screwdriver, on Taylor Made. Allysin tried to make the save but Danger stopped her as Bates made the pin.
A reminder that the tournament to crown the first XXWW World Champion begins next week.
Madison Eagles over Saraya Knight via pinfall.
A couple top vets in Amazons first main event. Knight put up a good fight but Eagles was too good. She finished the match with a Hell Bound. After the match they shake hands. Then as Eagles goes to leave the ring Knight attacks her from behind. Knight punches and kicks Eagles till security come out and make her leave. Eagles is hot and being held in the ring by security as the show ends.

Card #2
The show begins with a pre-recorded video from GM Gail Kim. She says tonight begins the road to crowning the first XXWW World Champion. She holds up the belt they are competing for. It's a black belt with purple trim. The main plate is silver and sports a view of Earth with XXWW above and World Champion below. One one side of the belt are three small plates with flags. The USA, Canada and Mexico flags. On the opposite side are three more. The England, Japan and Australia flags.
Saraya Knight over Shazza Mckenzie by pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
The veteran Knight was in control from start to finish. A couple corner dropkicks led to the pin.
Daffney: That was a nice opening match. Our next match is between Athena and Solo Darling.
Victoria: That Solo Darling is a unique creature. She lists her height as taller than a stack of pancakes.
Daffney: I'm not buying it. If someone in the production truck can hear me can you send an intern out to get me a stack of pancakes. For scientific purposes.
Victoria: Oh come on. I'm sure she is.
Daffney: Yea but we should be sure. Plus after we prove it I can eat the pancakes. I'm hungry.
A slight pause.
Victoria: Make it two stacks.
Athena defeated Solo Darling via pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
Solo was putting on a good showing till she went to toss Athena into the corner. Athena reversed it, Solo ran up the ropes and flew off the top toward Athena for an attempted diving crossbody. Athena caught her and slammed her to the mat. A bit later Solo tried to get her sugary drink for a surge but Athena stopped her and hit her O-Face finisher.
Nevaeh beat Xandra Bale via pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
Nevaeh looked really good. She seemed to have the win when she hit a Backpack Stunner. Xandra kicked out of the finisher however. A couple minutes later Nevaeh hit a diving crossbody and rolled Xavier up to win and advance.
Hudson Envy over Allison Danger by pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
This was a bit of an upset that didn't look like it would happen. Envy hit her Air Raid Crush finisher not once, not twice but three times. Allison kicked out each time. Envy showed frustration but kept attacking. A spinebuster finally took the fight out of Allison and Envy pulled off the upset.
We have four of the eight qualifiers for the Gauntlet match. Who will be the other four? Tune in next week to find out.

Card #3
Victoria: It's time to find out the last four ladies to advance to the gauntlet next week where we will crown the first XXWW World Champion. We have a great card but it will be hard to beat last week.
Daffney: I agree. I think the best chance to top last week is some French Toast.
Victoria: Can't argue with that. I think you are growing on me girl.
Daffney: Oh interns.
Taeler Hendrix defeated Nicole Savoy by pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
Nicole started strong but only a minute or so into the match Taeler quickly turned things around and hit her finisher, The Long Kiss Goodnight, then pinned Nicole to advance.
Madison Eagles over Veda Scott via pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
Veda was overmatched in this match. But she showed she would not go down easily. She kicked out of a Hell Bound, partly due to a casual cover. Eagles went right for her finisher again. This time Veda got a rope break. Eagles took Veda to the center of the ring and hit Hell Bound a third time. Veda kicked out right before the three. Fans were getting behind her. Eagles unleashed some other offense before hitting a fourth Hell Bound and finally putting Veda away.
A promo for next week. An eight lady Gauntlet match. Two ladies start and every minute a new one will join the match. Elimination is by being tossed over the top rope and landing on the floor. This goes on till two ladies are left. They will have a tradition match to a fall. The winner will be the inaugural XXWW World Champion.
Allysin Kay beat Cat Power by submission in a World Championship qualifier.
Most times Kay has a size advantage in her matches. Not here as both ladies were evenly sized. They fought back and forth for a couple minutes. Then Cat started pulling away. A couple pin attempts showed Kay was getting tired. Cat hit her finisher but as she went for the cover Taylor Made ran down and slid a chair in the ring. The ref saw this and ignored the cover as he went to remove the chair from the ring. Taylor got in the ring and hit a DDT on Cat. Taylor slid out and Allysin covered Cat. A two count and a kick out. Allysin quickly put Cat in the camel clutch. Cat tapped and Allysin advances. Allysin and Taylor laugh and celebrate after.
Cheerleader Melissa beat KC Spinelli by pinfall in a World Championship qualifier.
Momentum went back and forth and for a bit it looked like KC might pull off an upset like Hudson Envy did last week. Then Melissa got on a tear. She finished KC off with an Air Raid Crash. Cheerleader Melissa advances.
We have the eight ladies who will enter the gauntlet.
Saraya Knight
Athena
Nevaeh
Hudson Envy
Taeler Hendrix
Madison Eagles
Allysin Kay
Cheerleader Melissa

Card #4 - Hail To The Queen
The commentary team, Victoria and Daffney, welcome us to a special Amazons. The night we crown the first XXWW World Champion. They throw it to the ring for the opening match.
Jessie McKay defeated Mrs. X by pinfall.
This match set the XXWW record for the shortest match. Granted being only the fourth show but this will be hard to beat. Jessie hit a monkey flip right after the bell. Mrs. X got up and turned around into a School Girl Crush. She looked knocked out as Jessie made the pin.
Victoria: What a debut.
Daffney: Makes you wonder why she wasn't in the World tournament.
Solo Darling and Marti Belle over Regeneration XX via pinfall.
The commentary team talk about Bella making her debut and how Solo makes them want pancakes as they came out. Then when Regeneration XX come out they talk about Leva Bates being dressed as a lumberjack and how it's reference to Solo being from the Enchanted Forest.
Solo started the match with Leva and was not happy with Leva's chopping motion. Solo was all over Leva. Solo hit her finisher but only got a two. She tagged Marti in. Leva stayed in trouble as Marti unleashed on her. After Marti hit her finisher and got a two count she tagged Solo in. Solo took Leva to the center of the ring and whipped her into her team's corner. Then she hit a corner splash. Solo went for the cover which brought Danger into the ring. Danger was cut off by Marti as the ref counted three. An upset victory for Solo and Marti.
A look back at last week when Taylor Made helped Allysin Kay beat Cat Power and advance in the World tournament. Cat Power has asked for and been granted a match with Taylor Made on next weeks Amazons. Now it's time for the 8 Women Gauntlet match.
8 Women Gauntlet match.
- 1st out is Taeler Hendrix.
- 2nd out is Nevaeh.
- The two ladies went back and forth. Neither getting much of an advantage. A highlight was when Taeler kissed Nevaeh and Navaeh turned it into a guillotine choke.
- 3rd out is Hudson Envy.
- The three ladies brawled. Taeler kissed Hudson who did not seem to enjoy it as she hacked and wiped at her lips. That gave Taeler an opening to try and toss Hudson, the first attempt in the match, but was unsuccessful.
- 4th out is Saraya Knight.
- Knight slides in the ring and hits a DDT on Nevaeh. Knight lifts Nevaeh and almost gets her over the top rope. A lifting DDT then Saraya puts Nevaeh in Knightmare. Nevaeh is in pain and even taps but there are no submissions at this point. Knight grabs Nevaeh's other leg, lifts her and flings her over the top rope. Nevaeh crashes to the mat and is eliminated.
- 5th out is Athena.
- Athena quickly grabs Envy and hits a standing suplex. After an unsuccessful attempt to toss Envy Athena hits an O-Face. Then Athena eliminates Hudson Envy. She joins Saraya Knight in double teaming Hendrix.
- 6th out is Allysin Kay.
- Allysin attacks Knight. After a few attempts to throw her over the top Allysin tosses Knight toward Athena. Athena performs a sidewinder slam on Knight. Athena gets Knight partly over the top rope but Knight is fighting to stay in. Allysin Kay comes over and helps Athena eliminate Saraya Knight. Taeler Hendrix runs up and attacks Athena from behind. After a couple attempts to toss Athena out doesn't work Taeler hits Ginger Snaps and finally eliminates Athena.
- 7th out is Cheerleader Melissa.
- This means only Madison Eagles is left. There is a stare down between the three ladies in the ring. AK tosses Taeler into Melissa. They battle then Cheerleader Melissa hits a Kudoh Driver and flings Taeler over the top rope to eliminate her.
- 8th out is Madison Eagles.
- Three ladies left. One more elimination and then this becomes a traditional match. Again there is a stare down. AK tries to fling Melissa into Madison but Melissa was prepared. She avoids it, attacks Allysin and flings AK into Madison. Allysin is met with a big boot to the face. Madison beats down on Allysin and goes to eliminate her. A desperate AK fights out of it. When Madison tries a second time Cheerleader Melissa runs over and helps her lift Allysin over the top, sending her crashing to the mat. AK is eliminated.
- Cheerleader Melissa and Madison Eagles survive the gauntlet and will now battle to be the first World Champion.
Cheerleader Melissa over Madison Eagles via pinfall to become the inaugural XXWW World Champion.
The two ladies circled around in the ring eyeing each other. Once the action started things went back and forth. Eagles got on a roll and had Melissa in trouble. The action went to the floor. Eagles was assaulting Melissa. The ref started warning Eagles to stop and get back in the ring. Eagles ignored him and almost went to far. She lifted Melissa and looked to slam her on the announcers desk. The ref gave one last warning. Eagles laid Melissa on the floor gently and rolled into the ring to stop the count the ref had partly began. Eagles went back to the floor and stomped on Melissa a couple times before rolling her into the ring.
Back in the ring Eagles kept her advantage for awhile then Melissa started fighting back. She was on fire. A couple pin attempts. Then Cheerleader Melissa hit one of her finishers, Air Raid Crash, and hooked a leg as she covered. The ref counted three and we had our first World Champion.
The fans cheered for the Cheerleader. The ref is handed the World title belt and goes to give it to Cheerleader Melissa. He is stopped by Madison Eagles. She rips the belt out of his hands. Some fans boo. Melissa and the ref look worried. Madison holds up her hand as if to say "relax". She then slowly walks behind Melissa. She places the belt around Melissa's waist and buttons it. Then she lifts Melissa's hand with one of hers and points to Melissa with the other as the fans cheer.

Card #5
As the show starts XXWW World Champion Cheerleader Melissa is standing in the ring with the belt over her shoulder.
Cheerleader Melissa: What a great first month in the history of XXWW. It ended with me winning the World title. I'm going to try and be a champion you fans can be proud of. I will take on any challenger and not duck anyone.
A wrestler has made her way down to the ring.
Victoria: That's Melanie Cruise. She's making her XXWW debut in our opening match.
Daffney: Looks like she's coming out a bit early.
She gets in the ring and stands in front of the champ, staring intimidatingly. Then she takes the mic from Melissa.
Melanie Cruise: Yea we got it champ. (she looks at the title) Enjoy that while you can. I'll be coming for it soon enough. For now, leave my ring. I have a match and I need to create a roster spot opening.
Cheerleader Melissa stares intently at Melanie for a bit then slowly makes her return to the back.
Melanie Cruise beat Veda Scott via pinfall.
Melanie was simply dominating in this match. Nothing Veda did seemed to work. As has been her MO she would not go down easy. She kept kicking out. Even after Melanie's finisher. Finally, a tombstone piledriver ended the match. Melanie was not happy with just earning a win. Maybe she was upset it took so long. Either way she brought a chair into the ring, laid it on the mat and performed a tombstone piledriver onto the chair. Veda Scott was not moving after. Security and medical staff came down. One kept Melanie from doing more damage as the other checked what damage had been already done.
Back from commercial the camera shows the fans around the ring. It stops on fans to the right of the ring in the first row.
Victoria: Well, well, well. What do we have here? Seems we have some lady wrestlers in the crowd checking out the show.
Daffney: I recognize the three of them. That's Cherry Bomb, Courtney Rush and Vanessa Kraven. They are signed to SMASH Wrestling, a promotion up in Canada. I wonder what they are doing here.
Victoria: Probably checking out the hottest show going today, Amazons, live and in person. To see what an all-female promotion looks like.
Daffney: Or maybe they want to jump ship. It might be a good idea for Gail Kim to come out and have a talk with them.
The Pink Ladies (Madison Eagles & Jessie McKay) over Solo Darling and Marti Belle by disqualification.
Victoria points out that it seems Madison might be moving on from losing in the World title match and looking toward the tag team belts down the line. Daffney says they better not look past Solo and Marti who are looking for a second upset.
Early on it looked like an upset was what was going to happen. They worked over Madison, maybe showing wear and tear from last week, and Marti hit her finisher but Madison kicked out. The match went back and forth for 5-6 minutes after that. Both teams made frequent tags trying to get momentum. Marti and Madison ended up on the floor, brawling. Marti grabbed some TV cables and started choking Madison. She ignored the ref's orders to stop and the ref called the match. Marti got her team the DQ.
We are introduced to the backstage interviewer, Todd. He is joined by Nicole Matthews. Todd starts to ask a question but Nicole grabs the mic and pushes Todd away.
Nicole Matthews: What crap is this. A whole month and I am not on the show. Then when I finally get air time it's to be interviewed by some pencil necked geek. Such disrespect. Well, I won't stand for it. So, I called a friend and she's coming to XXWW to join me and we will go after the XXWW Tag Team Championship. We BETTER be in the tournament to crown the first champs. You don't want to piss off...The Canadian NINJAS.
Taylor Made w/Allysin Kay beat Cat Power by pinfall.
Allysin got Cat Power's attention as the match started allowing Taylor to attack her from behind. That advantage was all she needed. She dominated the match and finished Cat Power off with an Ace Crusher.

Card #6
Xandra Bale beat Athena via pinfall.
The opening match was a competitive contest. Athena looked like she was the better wrestler and would win. But Xandra kept fighting back. Xandra's finisher didn't earn her the victory but a kick to the chest later did.
We see the same three SMASH Wrestling women wrestlers sitting in the front row to the right of the ring. A graphic lists them as so and lists their three names; Cherry Bomb, Courtney Rush and Vanessa Kraven. Todd, XXWW's back stage reporter goes over to try and talk to them. They just ignore him and Cherry Bomb shoos him away.
Saraya Knight over Taeler Hendrix by disqualification.
This was a banger as momentum swung from one woman to the other like the pendulum of a grandfather's clock. A slight edge went to Taeler. The action then went to the floor. The two brawled a bit then stopped to catch their breath. They were near the ladies from SMASH and Cherry Bomb stood up and was yelling something at Taeler. Then Taeler got in her face and was talking back to her. Security came over to separate Taeler from Cherry Bomb who was in essence a paying fan. Taeler was hot and took out her anger on Saraya. She got too vicious and when the ref tried to pull her off, she shoved the ref. That ended the match as the ref DQ'd Taeler. This causes the three SMASH wrestlers to break out in laughter. Well two of them, Kraven just sat there looking menacing.
A promo for XXWW first new signee who will debut soon, Saturyne.
Victoria informs us that do to the heinous attack by Melanie Cruise on Veda Scott last week Veda has been injured and will be out an undetermined amount of time.
Regeneration XX beat Solo Darling and Marti Belle via pinfall.
The ladies of Regeneration XX were looking to avenge a recent loss to Solo and Marti. They were really focused. Frequent tags and some double teaming helped them get the job done. Allison Danger pinned Solo after a Flirting With Danger.
