Ricochet & Nation should be able to find success as a team... And even though I was rooting for Galloway to win that top contenders match, I still hope Roddy can BREAK the BACK of EC3 to become the new champion. Martin Stone is a solid addition to the FIP roster, but I think the Notorious 187 will make a monster impact... Without a doubt! I'm looking forward to see if Ric&Uhaa can beat the Bravado Brothers and Roddy is looking tough, so he could beat EC3. I'm a fan of both, but Martin Stone is my all time favorite going back to his days in IPW:UK which I forget how I discovered, but that was fun stuff. At this point, you'll be seeing wrestlers who were actually in the real FIP and also Evolve, but I'll be mixing once I feel I have a nice history built up... |

Next out is Team Tremendous who are cheered loudly for by The Orpheum crowd and our opening contest starts with Dan Barry going on the offensive versus Anthony Nese. This match you could see that Team Tremendous were the better team and they win the match by way of their BOOK'EM DANNO finisher, then Nese who got under the skin of Bill Carr-n-Dan Barry was blasted by a post match double team beat down... CHRIS HERO over Biff Busick (Rolling Elbow)Biff Busick is out first and Lenny Leonard talks about how Busick really needs a win here in EVOLVE pretty bad, then walking out is Chris Hero whose ring gear is a homage to the Tampa Bay Rays and it was Busick (3 tokens) who survived a DEATHBLOW by Hero, but ends up losing the match none the less. Our Main Event here at EVOLVE 16: WORKHORSEMEN vs. BRAVADO BROTHERS begins with Harlem Bravado going on the offensive versus Anthony Henry... OPEN THE UNITED GATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHBRAVADO BROTHERS (*)(HARLEM BRAVADO-N-LANCELOT BRAVADO) over Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry-n-James Drake)
(HARLEM BRAVADO over Anthony Henry/GENTLEMAN'S APPROACH)What a great tag team title match we witnessed where Antony Henry (7 tokens) really took a beating, but Harlem (3 tokens) and Lancelot (4 tokens) also took on damage during the match. James Drake did save Henry twice from being pinned, but it was Harlem Bravado who gets the 4th successful title defense for his team and it is the Bravado Brothers who close out this broadcast holding up the OPEN THE UNITED GATE CHAMPIONSHIP belts above their heads in celebration of the victory... (RICOCHET over Bill Carr/630 SENTON)Team Tremendous have been on a nice roll of late and we witnessed Dan Barry (3 tokens) and Bill Carr (2 tokens) each take on damage, which at one point Dan Barry saved Carr from a 630 SENTON by Ricochet. Ricochet missed a 630 SENTON earlier in the match, but in the end it is Ricochet-n-Uhaa Nation who end up winning themselves a OPEN THE UNITED GATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. Our next match has the young but improving debut of Adam Page to EVOLVE and he blocked a HALF AND HALF SUPLEX that ended up with him losing directly after that move to Biff Busick... BIFF BUSICK over Adam Page (Biff Blockbuster)
TOMMASO CIAMPA over Rich Swann (PROJECT CIAMPA)Tommaso Ciampa (4 tokens) was on the ropes from the get go with Swann having such a strong start, but Ciampa bounced back and defeats Rich Swann (1 token) with his finisher. We now see Joanna Rose in the ring and she introduces Roderick Strong first and then introduces Eathan Carter III the current reigning EVOLVE CHAMPION and our Main Event begins with EC3 on the offensive... EVOLVE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHRODERICK STRONG over Ethan Carter III (*)(STRONGHOLD)EC3 (4 tokens) had a strong start to the match and it looked like Roderick Strong (4 tokens) would lose the match, but Strong bounced back from a few TK3's to EC3 surviving a early SICK KICK to a STRONGHOLD. In the end though, it was a 2nd STRONGHOLD that finished off EC3 and Roderick Strong is your new EVOLVE CHAMPION and this broadcast of EVOLVE 17: STRONG vs. EC3 ends with Roddy holding up the EVOLVE CHAMPIONSHIP belt with a smirk on his face and Lenny Leonard signing off... Absolutely stoked that Ricochet & Nation are getting their crack at some tag team gold... And also could not be happier that Roddy Strong has claimed the Evolve Championship... Here's hoping that EC3 just packs up and moves along quietly... Fun times!

Anthony Nese (3 tokens) had some offense, but Carr was the better wrestler on the night and Su Yung at one point made a distraction that saved Nese, but in the end it was Carr who takes the victory... After the victory, Lenny Leonard interviews Adam Page and he talks about how he wants to prove he is a top wrestler and several fans cheer for that statement... JOHNNY GARGANO over Chuck Taylor (Hurts Donut)Johnny Wrestling was not fooling around in our 3rd match of the night and he started on the offensive and he wins the fight with a Hurts Donut, then when he was celebrating you could see anger in the eye's of Chuck Taylor and Taylor attacks and injures Gargano. Gargano had to be helped by several referee's to the back and the crowd were mixed on the actions by Chucky T. We now hear from Lenny Leonard about a special event that is coming up after EVOLVE 18: HERO vs. PERKINS and it will be a 3 night event, then our Main Event of the night starts with Chris Hero going on the offensive versus TJ Perkins... EVOLVE CONTENDERS MATCHTJ PERKINS over Chris Hero (2 Amigos)In a bit of a stunner after Hero started on the offensive, TJP takes control and ends the match with a 2 Amigos which draws cheers from the crowd.
