Galacticon 2021 is in the books, and Mike and Todd are reporting live, on-site from the con on closing day. Sam, meanwhile, is back in CotG Studios... His basement, he's in his basement... with a brief overview of his experience of the con virtually, the interview with Tom & the Dark Menace, and a brief tribute to "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. Mike and Todd give us a boots-on-the-ground perspective of the entire con, from the reveals to the tournaments, to the amazing auction. Whether you attended in-person, online, or had to sit this one out, you won't want to miss this one. WebsiteAppleSpotifyGoogle

This was another great episode. Sam Fain we missed you in Waterloo. Tournament Master, I'm willing to say that Pete Beck went about $150 above what my max bid would have been - bravo for him. One other question, I know Jerry Brisco challenged us to raise $10,000 next year for the hall. Is there a way that we could possibly raise the cost of the T/T sets by say $5 or $10 with the above $20 going as a donation to the Hall? It was just something I thought of. I know myself, I'd be willing to pay $10 extra for next year's Tragos/Thesz set, it's a worthy cause for sure. Or, even offering a donation box on the order form?

We’ve already started discussing how we can do more next year. Obviously, the auction will be a big piece of that but we have a few other ideas that we’ll let everyone know about when we’ve got the necessary approvals.

I may have something I'd be willing to donate to the auction next year as well (a certain prize from a certain Podcast review contest) - that hopefully will earn some scratch for the HoF. Additionally, since my plan is to attend GCON in person I may donate my typical priority mail shipping cost to T/T, if possible - as I do not think there is anyway to not have it charge my card for shipping

Lets worry about a TNT set if there is one for next year....no idea yet but we only have two names known signed that are in the Hall. Would take at least six more to release a set.
I would not care for them to raise the price even if its for the Hall....good cause but it could also easily turn off new customers and those in less than ideal financial situations.
Whatever FG does do though should be awesome.

Correct me if I am wrong Tournament Master, but is that not the case?

And, we have about what, 10 months until stuff needs to be finalized - so that means more times for signings.
