Hi all, when a wrestler has a mechanic for comebacks that may only be tried once per match how do you handle it? Say the comeback is attempted but fails/play normally comes up do you class that as the one attempt and that's it. Or do you keep trying the comeback until it works and then that's it? Hope that makes sense. A classic example is on Aethran Overmaster card where you have on roll of 6 on his level 3 defence:
Overmaster might make an amazing comeback. Roll one die. 1-4: Overmaster Rising - 3 Add 1. 5-6: Play normally. If opponent used an Add 1 move then Overmaster Rising works on rolls of 1-2. Overmaster Rising can only be tried once per match.
thanks, Wayne

Overmaster Rising can only be tried once per match. For me, it's all about the wording used in the mechanic description... Here it says, Overmaster Rising can only be tried once per match. Sometimes, I think you'll find the mechanic reads the move can only be used once per match... In which case, I would keep the option on the table until the move actually hits.

Good point, I didn't think of that. What you say makes sense to me!
