Hello promoters,
I started a defiant league and made all the matches singles matches with British round rules.
6-3 minutes rounds. I incorporated the "cube" timer that I found on this board. In a bag I put:
5 green cubes (1 minute), 10 yellow (2 minutes) & 5 red (3 minutes) . After each pinfall attempt successful or not draw a cube. If the round did not total 3 minutes continue. If the round is over start the next round and roll for initiative.i do not put the cubes back in the bag.
You must get two falls in a combination of pin, submission or countout. If no one has two falls at the end of six rounds the person with the most falls wins. If they are tied after 6 you go to sudden death.
Fatigue is cumulative
Dq or k.o. ends the match
A k.o. occurs when a pinfall is a roll of doubles within a successful pinfall (so you could technically win in one fall if it's a double roll)

Interesting. Good ideas. There are official British Rounds rules for the game if you did not know that.

IIRC the World of Sport rules in the Promoter don't incorporate rounds, just falls. This is one of the better ideas for simulating the passage of time, since it's the first way I've seen that doesn't involve the cumbersome process of having to count moves.

The World of Sport Rules did incorporate rounds, based on a number of moves. These will be rereleased in the Ringside Companion later this year.

"Two falls, two submissions or a knockout will decide the winner!"

I use British rounds rules in my Anarchy in the UK Fed (British based) . But Dq you are allowed two Dq , if you are Dq'd . They are classed as public warnings (nothing really happens) 3rd time you are Dq'd that counts as a Dq

Were the World of Sport rules in an online Promoter? He asked me where they were to be found and I don't remember.

According to Grant's thread he posted about six weeks ago, it was in Issue #17.

I seriously had no idea this many official matches existed. I'm more excited for the compendium release now.
