A JJSB rematch there, and the same result! Maybe one day, Joey will beat Ibushi Janela's chances for that would be enhanced if he got a needed update from his 2016 stats, but I don't see him or another GCW or deathmatch wrestler (i.e. Matt Tremont) likely winning an update poll as those winners are usually TNA talents.

Yeah, sadly they don't seem to have much chance of winning the poll right now for the update. As you say, both could really do with one though!

Match #8: ROV Tag Team Champions Briscoes defeated Second Gear Crew's Mance Warner and Matthew Justice in a VCW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders match
- The Briscoes turned out to be the mystery tag team opponents of the Second Gear Crew in this #1 Contender's match.
- A great match. During this match, Mance Warner, who once held the ROV 6-Man Tag Team Championship with the Briscoes, twice nearly put both Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe away with his LARIAT but they kept managing to kick out at the last second. This match came to an end when Jay Briscoe pinned Matthew Justice via a JAY DRILLER.
- As a result, the Briscoes have earned a match for the VCW Tag Team Championship for which they will challenge MexaBlood on the next VCW show!
