It wouldn't be a Gage invitational without Nick f'n Gage himself! Great defence by Ibushi. The tag team deathmatch was superb as well. Cannot wait to see if Akira can leave the NGI still Ultraviolent champion

{Promoter's Note: This is my 1,262nd consecutive day for posting fed results on this board.}
It is time for the Nick Gage Invitational where the VCW Ultraviolent Championship will be defended throughout the tournament!
VCW Show #29: Nick Gage Invitational Chicago, Illinois (First Third of show)
- commentators: Todd Keneley and Veda Scott
Match #1: Mance Warner defeated Kennedi Copeland and Cole Radrick in a First Round deathmatch
- Copeland qualified for this tournament due to her recent victory over Mickie Knuckles and Radrick qualified for this tournament as a result of a combination of winning the scramble match on the previous show and his deathmatch pedigree.
- Warner advanced by pinning Copeland via a pop-up headbutt.
Match #2: VCW Ultraviolent Champion Akira defeated Markus Crane in a First Round deathmatch
- This was a very violent deathmatch between two Midwestern deathmatch wrestlers. The first move of the match saw Crane smash Akira with a light tube and then throw Akira out of the ring where Akira countered by sending Crane through a pane of glass and the violence was just getting started as these two repeatedly attacked each other with various deathmatch weapons and deathmatch objects.
- Crane had the loud backing of the Chicago crowd but could not quite put Akira away even with his SNOWPLOW INTO RED LIGHT TUBES. Akira finally won via his SHATTER STAR BOMB.
- As a result, Akira retains the VCW Ultraviolence Championship which he will next defend against Mance Warner in the Semi-Finals.
Match #3: G-Raver defeated Alex Colon in a First Round deathmatch
- G-Raver won this match after he placed Colon on top of a flaming door and then hit his TOP ROPE METEORA.
Match #4: Nick Gage defeated Jimmy Lloyd in a First Round deathmatch
- This final First Round match pitted the most recent VCW Champion (Gage) against the most recent VCW Ultraviolent Champion (Lloyd.)
- Gage won via his CHOKE BREAKER.
- As a result, Gage advances to the Semi-Finals to take on G-Raver.
End of First Third. Second Third is next.

Awesome start to the show! Akira vs Crane was savage, by the sounds of it. Mance will not be easy competition for the Ultraviolent Champion in the semi-final.

- As a result, Mance Warner wins the VCW Ultraviolent Championship but will have to defend it in tonight's Finals.
Match #7: Nick Gage defeated G-Raver in a Semi-Finals deathmatch

Good win for Bussy! Mancer was always going to be tough opposition for Akira, but he now has the toughest challenge of them all in the final!

Gage is a tough cookie in deathmatches, and will always be my pick to win deathmatch tournaments he enters I believe Nick Gage is 3-1 for me in regards to winning deathmatch tournaments. He has now won: Nick Gage Invitational Deathbowl VIU Death Cup but he did lose in the Quarter-Finals to Necro Butcher in Tournament of Survival he did not participate in the most recent Combat Vegas Wrestling (CVW's) Tournament of Death despite being in CVW at the time becuase he instead had a title shot agaianst CVW Champion Sami Callihan on that show but he will more than likely be booked for the next Tournament of Death

I think I would probably still back him to win, but he isn't as all conquering as my mind deceived me into thinking!
