Live Road Show from The Sportatorium, Dallas, TX
Rod Fenton vs Jim Londos - In a curious pairing of styles, Fenton is able to get the brawl he wants, only for Londos to crush him with a power slam on the arena floor. Fenton is unable to make it back to the ring to avoid the countout.
Roy Heffernan vs Fritz Von Goerring - The Aussie outmaneuvers the German in a closely fought match, pinning Fritz after a slinghsot toss.
Maurice Tillet vs Danny McShain - McShain pounces at a sudden opportunity, and fells the French Angel with an Octopus Legbreaker to get a surprise pinfall.
The Crusher vs Antonino Rocca - The match goes back and forth, with neither man able to execute much of anything for several minutes. Rocca eventually takes Crusher to the mat, wears him down, and finishes him off with a backbreaker.
Bronco Nagurski vs Chief Don Eagle - The former champ returns to his old dominant form and quickly overpowers a game but overmatched Don Eagle.

Mick McManus vs Gorgeous George - The plucky undersized Brit's antics are enough to drive George crazy, until he decks him with his infamous perfume sprayer outside the ring. The ref calls for the bell. MCMANUS WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION
Bull Curry & Mad Dog Vachon vs Angelo Poffo & Mike DiBiase - The dangerous and unpredictable duo of Vachon and Curry administer more violence than the Italian Crew can handle. It finishes with Curry cold-cocking DiBiase in the center of the ring, while Vachon kept Poffo away.
Chief Don Eagle vs The Blue Demon - The Luchador puts on a high-flying exhibition at the expense of the unfortunate Chief.
Don Leo Jonathan vs Yukon Eric - Jonathan controls the bulk of the action in this rematch of west country giants.
Verne Gagne vs Lord James Blears - In our Main Event of the evening, Blears and Gagne put on a top notch exhibition of skill and athleticism. In the end, it's Gagne putting his Lordship to the mat after a gut wrench suplex. With this win on his resume, is Gagne in line for a title shot?

Live Road Show, from The Sportatorium in Dallas, Texas
Bull Curry vs Maurice Tillet - The ironically named French Angel stands in the ring, glaring, as the disciple of violence himself, Wild Bull Curry enters. To the surprise of no one, as soon as the bell rings, the mayhem begins. This one was a brutal brawl from the beginning. The ref could only maintain any semblance of order for so long. When the fight spilled out of the ring, and up the ramp, the ref had no choice but to end it as a no-contest. DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION
Gorgeous George vs Billy Varga - Our next match presents the matinee idol, Billy Varga against the prettiest boy in the building, Gorgeous George. The match goes back and forth, with neither grappler able to gain much of an edge. Varga kept on his feet, kept George moving, eventually coming off the ropes and dropping George with a shoulder block, then hoisting up high before slamming him to the mat with a loud crash before finishing with the pin. VARGA PINS GEORGE
Gory Guerrero vs The Black Shadow - The veteran Guerrero would face off against The Black Shadow. The Shadow was electric, far too quick for Guerrero to muster any offense. The Shadow would climb to the top rope and vault onto the prone Guerrero to finish off the match with extra flair. SHADOW PINS GUERRERO
Freddie Blassie vs The Sheik - The Sheik continues his war with Freddie Blassie. Farhat would control most of the match, locking on his Camel Clutch, but was not able to get Blassie to concede. Feeling he had Blassie finished, he went to climb the turnbuckle for the coup du gras. Blassie recovered, and sent the Sheik out of the ring. After roughing up the stunned Sheik, Blassie executes his neckbreaker and finishes Farhat. BLASSIE PINS SHEIK
El Santo vs Lou Thesz - In our main event of the night, former champions El Santo and Lou Thesz renew their rivalry. Santo would match Thesz hold for hold, move for move, but as the contest went on, it would be Thesz who would eventually take the momentum, grind down his opponent, and cap it off with his Greco-Roman backdrop. THESZ PINS SANTO

GWA Wrestling Showcase on the Dumont Network
Yukon Eric vs Don Leo Jonathan - The two titans from the west clash again as their feud rages on. Don Leo Jonathan issues a convincing statement as he controls most of the action in this one, finishing off Eric with a rolling back splash. JONATHAN PINS ERIC
Freddie Blassie vs Red Berry - In our next bout, Wild Red Berry meets the matinee idol, Freddie Blassie. Blassie wastes little time in taking over, dominating the red head. BLASSIE PINS BERRY
The Outback Raiders (Heffernan & Costello) vs Rod Fenton & Stu Hart - We now get a matchup of tag title contenders, as the Out back Raiders meet the Canadians, Hart and Fenton. The Raiders work like a well tuned engine, and methodically take control of the match, evidenced by their doubleteam boomerang move on a unwitting Fenton to finish it. HEFFERNAN PINS FENTON
Bronko Nagurski vs Buddy Rogers - Next, a grudge match between two men who just flat out dislike each other. Rogers jumped out at the bell and took the early initiative, but could not capitalize. The former NFL and GWA champion persevered, and scored the pin after a withering head drag flip slam. NAGURSKI PINS ROGERS
Killer Kowalski vs Johnny Valentine : GWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - The imposing Killer Kowalski takes to the ring for his first shot at the GWA Championship. Kowalski has been boastful, confident that the belt would rightfully be his. Early on, it appeared he may be right. For his part, Valentine fought back like a champion, fighting his way out of the Killer's abdominal claw into an abdominal stretch of his own. After a shocked Kowalski scrambled for the ropes, the champ pounced to execute his Atomic Skullcrusher. VALENTINE PINS KOWALSKI

The GWA's month long residence at The Sportatorium wraps up with a fun card tonight
The Crusher vs Mad Dog Vachon - Two rough hewn brawlers kick off the card tonight in what quickly turns in to the brawl we expected. Crusher drops the Algerian with a KO shot to the chin and pounces for the pin.
Gory Guerrero vs Bull Curry - Guerrero puts on a grappling clinic tonight at the expense of the wildman. This one was over quickly via the Gory Especial.
Mick McManus vs Rod Fenton - the young McManus' run of success is tested by the veteran Canadian tough man. Mick Mac answered every question. Things spilled outside the ring, where Fenton sent his opponent into the crowd, drawing the call for the bell from the ref.
Lou Thesz vs Fritz Von Goering - The dethroned ex-champ continues his road to redemption. This stop, Fritz Von Goering. The rest of the GWA received the message. Lou Thesz is still here, and not going anywhere.
Antonino Rocca vs Jim Londos - The Argentine squares off against the capable veteran Greek. Rocca's elite athleticism enertains, but can't seal the deal. Londos perseveres, and overcomes Rocca with a thunderous fireman's carry slam.

GWA Wrestling Showcase on the Dumont Network
Al Costello vs Chief Don Eagle - The Mohawk warrior stepped into the ring to face the crafty Aussie Costello. Neither man was able to take the early advangage, exchanging blows and holds, but ultimately, Eagle's athleticism earned him the upper hand. Red Berry was unable to draw the ref away as Eagle took down Costello with a flying body block and locked the pin. EAGLE PINS COSTELLO
Yukon Eric vs Buddy Rogers - The cunning and ring smarts of Buddy Rogers pitted against the size and brute force of the man from the Yukon. This time around, Rogers could not find a way to topple the big man, as Eric wore down and eventually finished Rogers with his Kodiak Crunch. ERIC PINS ROGERS
Gorgeous George vs Roy Heffernan - Red's other Raider would take to the ring against the one and only Gorgeous George. Red would be able to sit back and watch this one, as Heffernan mowed down George, who could muster only a feeble offensive on this night. HEFFERNAN PINS GEORGE
Danny McShain vs Verne Gagne - Verne Gagne may have expected to make a statement tonight, at the expense of Danny McShain. McShain, however, would prove just as loud as Gagne, as this match went back and forth right up against the time limit. Gagne made one last valliant burst, and managed to slip his infamous sleeper hold on McShain. The timekeeper called for the bell just as the ref signalled for it. What followed was a minute of confusion. Did Gagne manage to put his man out in time? Would it be a draw? After a tense conversation, Gagne was awarded the submission victory. GAGNE WINS BY SUBMISSION
The Hollywood Stars Freddie Blassie & Billy Varga vs Los Luchadors Black Shadow & Blue Demon - GWA TAG TEAM TITLE BOUT - The champions from south of the border would defend the belts against their former owners from Hollywood. Los Luchadors controlled the action from the bell, isolating their prey while working like a well oiled machine. Blassie appeared to be done for, when Varga leapt into the ring to save the day. What resulted was a wild melee inside and outside of the ring. The ref was unable to regain any semblance of order, and disqualified both teams. This isn't the last for this rivalry! DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION

Live Road Show from the St. Louis Arena, St. Louis MO
Rod Fenton and Stu Hart vs Angelo Poffo and Mike DiBiasse - The Canucks take on the Italian crew in our first match. The teams appear evenly matched, and the action goes back and forth early on. Things became heated, and eventually broke out in to a street fight. When order couldn't be restored, the ref called for a double DQ.
The Sheik vs Yukon Eric - The big man from up north was feeling it after his recent victory, but didn't count on the guile of Sheik Farhat. The wily Sheik had Eric's head spinning with his unpredictable attack, eventually ending it with the camel clutch.
Buddy Rogers vs Red Berry - The on again, off again Buddy Rogers wasted little time in putting away Red with a pair of atomic drops softening him up for the figure four.
Fritz Von Goering vs Don Leo Jonathan - The Mormon Giant literally threw the German madman around the ring, notching a one sided win.
Maurice Tillet vs Lord James Blears - Our main event in St. Louis continues the historical rivalry between England and France, tonight in the form of Maurice Tillet and Lord James Blears. The Frenchman would use his strength to his advantage, wearing down Blears, but seemed unable to pin the man. Things eventually spilled outside of the ring, where Tillet would hurl Blears into the crowd, drawing the bell from the ref.

GWA Wrestling Showcase on the Dumont Network
Red Berry vs Danny McShain - Coming off of an impressive performance against Verne Gagne, McShain steps in against Red Berry. McShain would be in for another pitched battle, as he and Berry engaged in a highly competitive back and forth match. In the end, it would be Berry coming out on top via his Gilligan Twist. BERRY WINS BY SUBMISSION
Antonino Rocca vs Gory Guerrero - Two of the most athletic grapplers in the GWA meet as Rocca steps in against Guerrero. The match would be a back and forth encoutner, getting more and more heated as it wore on, spilling outside the ring, where Rocca would lose his cool, grabbing and tossing the ref aside to get at Guerrero. That was enough to draw the bell. GUERRERO WINS BY DQ
Sombra Negra vs Killer Kowalski - The menacing Killer Kowalski would face the Black Shadow, accompanied to the ring by his champion tag team partner, the Blue Demon. Kowalski would dominate from the opening bell, as neither the Demon nor their championship hardware could save the Shadow from the Kowalski claw. KOWALSKI WINS BY SUBMISSION
Mick McManus vs El Santo - The plucky McManus has had a surprising run of success in the GWA. Today would be his truest test to date, as he faces the former champion, El Santo. The champ would take charge early, with his usual fast tempo attack of varied moves, but McManus could not be put on his back. Eventually, Mick would get his opportunity, and would not squander it, as it would be Santo tapping out to McManus' single leg crab. MCMANUS WINS BY SUBMISSION
Bronko Nagurski vs Verne Gagne - Our main event tonight pairs two of the GWA's best, as Bronko Nagurski faces Verne Gagne. It's a classic matchup of Nagurski's power against Gagne's finesse, but both are great all around grapplers to be sure. The former champ would unload on Gagne, twice narrowly missing victory as Gagne gamely fought back. Gagne would find himself with the upper hand, and eventually catch Nagurski with the growingly infamous Gagne Sleeper. GAGNE WINS BY SUBMISSION
