Very happy that you're enjoying the tournament, my friend... Should be able to get the second half of the opening round done during my shift today... Fingers crossed!

HIGHWAY to HELL
Deathmatch Tournament Opening Round
JIMMY LLOYD def. Ruckus. (8:09) **1/2 - Lloyd pinned Ruckus after a Tiger Driver. Despite landing some impressive offense, Ruckus had went down hard when Lloyd caught him rebounding off the ropes with a blow from a metal crutch.
EDDIE KINGSTON def. Jeff Cannonball. (11:52) *** - Kingston pinned Cannonball after a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE.
SAMI CALLIHAN def. Rickey Shane Page. (9:31) **1/2 - Callihan pinned RSP after a CUERNO KILLER. While trying to build some momentum, RSP mistimed a high risk move and Callihan knocked him down with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.
NICK GAGE def. Devon Moore. (10:04) ***1/2 - Gage pinned Moore after a CHOKEBREAKER onto broken glass. Moore was looking quite impressive until Gage delivered a vicious assault with a weed whacker to gain the upper hand.

HIGHWAY to HELL
Deathmatch Tournament Opening Round
MAD MAN PONDO def. BLK Jeez. (2:48) squash - Pondo pinned Jeez after a PONDO DRIVER. Multiple saw bat attacks helped Pondo claim a virtually unopposed victory.
ORIN VEIDT def. Sick Nick Mondo. (6:26) *1/2 - Veidt pinned Mondo after a CRADLE SHOCK.
G-RAVER def. Masada. (13:54) ***1/2 - Raver pinned Masada after a TOP ROPE METEORA. Masada missed a suicide dive and crashed into a light tube structure, providing G-Raver with just the opportunity he needed.
MANCE WARNER def. Alex Colon. (11:17) ****1/2 - Warner pinned Colon after a KNEEPAD UP/KNEEPAD DOWN. This seesaw battle was definitely the best match of the event so far. Colon nearly took the win following a TOP ROPE BELLY TO BACK INVERTED SLAM through a flaming table, but Warner got a shoulder up just in time! Warner executed a springboard DDT off the referee to set up a dynamic finish.

Looks like the Raver has a talent to pick the tough draws. I really like that Card a lot,so I will support him. Callihan against Gage should be a hell of a match

Looks like the Raver has a talent to pick the tough draws. I really like that Card a lot,so I will support him. Callihan against Gage should be a hell of a match If you ask me, Vegas did an exceptional job of crafting the deathmatch wrestler cards to ensure they perform very well in these kinds of matches... The tweaks are subtle, but they are definitely there... I'm quickly becoming a big fan of G-Raver, Orin Veidt and Jimmy Lloyd in particular... Plus Mad Man Pondo - his card is a beast in any no DQ setting. Truly appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
