Bob Backlund defeats Nikita Koloff with a Double Underhook Suplex (1*)

Randy Savage defeats Roddy Piper by DQ, when Piper hit him with a chair on the outside of the ring. (1*)

Piper was so frustrated with the decision he argued with referee Joey Morella, before shoving him and going to attack Savage again, however Savage took the chair from Piper and Piper ran to the dressing room.

Harley Race defeats Ted DiBiase with the Pile Driver. (2*)

Kevin Steen defeats Barry Windham following the F-Cinq (5*)

Magnum TA defeats Manny Fernandez after reversing a Sunset Flip by Fernanez, by dropping on him and hooking the legs. (3*)

Following the match, both men shook hands, however you could see the frustration in Fernandez face

Nick Bockwinkel defeats Hulk Hogan* with the Bockwinkel Sleeper (2*)

The Spoiler defeats Tully Blanchard by DQ, when Dillon interfered. (1*)

Dillon began the match in a neutral corner, however when Spoiler pinned Blanchard following the Rope Walk Smash, Dillon jumped in the ring and broke up the pin, resulting in the DQ. The Spoiler focused his attention to Dillon, as Blanchard went to sneak up behind him, but Spoiler caught Blanchard and chassed both men to the back.

Bob Orton demolished The Grappler after a Double Ax Handle from the top rope. (2*)

Orton dominated from the get go, and delivered 2 Super Plex early in the match and just dominated the match

UCWN Classic All-Star Wrestling

Gordon Solie welcomes the fans to another great episode of All-Star Wrestling. He mentions that 2 big main events on today’s program. The Rock & Roll Express will battle Terry Gordy & Steve Williams, while following what happened on Inferno, this past week, The Spoiler will battle Tully Blanchard in a rematch.

Prior to the opening match, Gordon Solie is joined by Ted DiBiase, the Million Dollar Man. However, DiBiase does not resemble the “Million Dollar Man”. DiBiase says that he’s beginning to realize that all the money in the world cannot buy you World Titles. He says that it’s time for a change, and change that is needed for the growth of DiBiase.

Ted DiBiase defeats George South following a Full Power Slam.

South making is debut never stood a chance, as DiBiase’s new attitude demolished South.

Press Conference with Bill Apter. Guest British Bulldogs

The Bulldogs mention that they realized that being nice guys means nothing. That was proven in the Tag Team Title tournament. Now, they want the Long Riders in the ring again, to prove to the world that it was a fluke and they are ready for bigger things. The Long Riders come out laughing saying that there’s no fluke, and they accept the challenge and will take them the next Inferno TV Show.

Brad Armstrong defeats Barry O with the Russian Leg Sweep.

Gordon Solie is joined by the Spoiler. The Spoiler says that he knew that he would not only be facing Blanchard, but Dillon also. He knew that Dillon would do something, and he proved him right. Spoiler says tonight, he won’t think about what Dillon might do, because he already knows. Blanchard will be in a world of pain tonight.

Jazz defeats Tina Moretti with a Fisherman’s buster. (3 ½*)


Terry Gordy & Steve Williams defeats Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) following a double Face First Suplex.

The Spoiler defeats Tully Blanchard (With JJ Dillon) by DQ. The Spoiler got the Bionic Claw on Blanchard, when Stan Lane, Tom Pritchard and Redd Dogg charged the ring and attacked the Spoiler. It was a 4 on attack, until the British Bulldogs charged the ring to make the save. The Spoiler shock hands with the Bulldogs, in what was a surprising rescue.

Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan welcomes the fans to another great episode of Inferno. They mention the Quarter Finals for the UCWN Universal Title will take place, plus Non-Title match between the UCWN Universal Tag Team Champions Road Warriors battling the Midnight Express.

Quarter Finals for UCWN Universal Heavyweight Title

Randy Savage defeats Bob Backlund following 3 Flying Elbow Drops. Backlund needed assistance to the back, as Savage made a statement (5*)

Harley Race defeats Kevin Steen by referee stoppage with the Indian Deathlock, when Steen passed out from the pain. (5*)

This was an amazing match , that saw Steen survive 3 Pile Drivers during the contest, however the Indian Deathlock was just too much. Steen needed help from the referee to the back, as the Crowd gave a standing ovation to Steen.

Tag Team Match up

British Bulldogs defeats Long Riders by count out, when Dynamite Kid Snap suplexed Bill Irwin on top of the broadcast table, as Smith was battling Scott. Bill was unable to make it back to the ring (4*)

Quarter Finals for UCWN Universal Heavyweight Title

Nick Bockwinkel defeats Magnum TA with the Bockwinkel Sleeper (3*)

Bob Orton Jr. defeats The Spoiler after rolling thru a flying Cross Body block and hooking the tights for the 3 count. The Spoiler looked on stunned, as Orton immediately high tailed it to the back.

Non-Title Match

Midnight Express (Eaton & Condrey) (With Jim Cornette) defeats Universal Tag Team Champions Road Warriors (With Paul Ellering) by DQ, when Animal took Jim Cornette’s Tennis Racket from him and hammered Eaton with it. He then hammered Condrey, as Cornette tried to escape, however Cornette was clobbered by Ellering in the ring. The Midnight’s manage to grab Cornette and drag him to the back.

Gordon Solie welcomes us to another great program of UCWN Classic All-Star Wrestling. Before going any further he welcomes UCWN Commissioner Teddy Long. Long says that on The Semi-Finals will feature Harley Race Vs. Randy Savage & Nick Bockwinkel Vs. Bob Orton Jr. on Monday Night;

Christmas Massacre will take place on Christmas night with he crowning of the Universal Champion

Plus the Road Warriors will defend the Universal Tag Team Titles against the Midnight Express.

Long mentions that also at Christmas Massacre, the UCWN Family will grow as 3 new promotions will be joining the UCWN. National Wrestling Alliance, American Wrestling Alliance and Continental Wrestling Federation. Matches also held on Christmas night. CWF action Eddie Gilbert battles Soul Train Jones, NWA action British Bulldogs Vs. Heavenly Bodies, Spoiler Vs. Tully Blanchard in a No DQ match. AWA action Vampiro Vs. Alexis Smirnoff, Ladies action wil see the Sea Stars Vs. Glamour Girls

Bellomo got 2 quick pin attempts on Orton, and appeared to be enroute to an upset, when he missed the charge in the Turnbuckle and Orton finished him off

Ted DiBiase defeats Sam Houston with a Full Power Slam (2*)

Red Dogg (With J.J. Dillon) defeats the Spoiler after grabbing the Legs while reversing a Sunset Flip.

Semi-Finals Universal Title

Nick Bockwinkel defeats ”Cowboy” Bob Orton with the Bockwinkel Sleeper. (2*)

Harley Race defeats ”Macho Man” Randy Savage, after reversing a Sunset Flip by hooking the legs

Following the match, Bobby Heenan entered the ring and hugged Race. Bockwinkel came out on the ramp and looked at Race and Heenan. Heenan invites Bockwinkel in the ring. Has Bockwinkel enters the ring, Heenan hugs him also, but Bockwinkel does not return the hug. Race and Bockwinkel just stare each other down.

Eddie Gilbert defeats Soul Train Jones following a Pile Driver (1*)

Mean Gene Okerlund in the back with Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel says that he’s ready for a war tonight against Race. He mentions that he knows Race, and he’s ready for anything that he can throw at him.

Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo) defeats Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin), when Vox pinned Kai following the Flopping Fish. (2*)

Mean Gene is joined by Commissioner Teddy Long. Teddy announces that the Finals for the Universal Title that the following are in place. No managers allowed at ringside. There will be No DQ and No Count Outs. There will be a winner by pinfall or submission.

Vampiro defeats Boris Zhukov with the Nail in the Coffin (2*)

Mean Gene is joined by the British Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are ready for their match up against the Heavenly Bodies. They mention that they came out to help the Spoiler, because they believe in a fair fight, and they will always stand up for a fair fight. Heavenly Bodies better be ready for fight because the Bulldogs want to take a bite out of them.

Bill Apter is joined by the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette. Cornette mentions that they’ve been the #1 contenders, since they lost the tournament and tonight they will be sending the Warriors away for good.

Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Tom Pritchard)/With J.J. Dillon defeats British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) by DQ, when DBS rammed Pritchard head in the turnbuckle. Following the match, both Smith and DK argued with the referee to no avail. (1*)

Mean Gene is with the Spoiler. Spoiler says that tonight he’s going to teach Blanchard a lesson. NO DQ, anything goes. He tells Blanchard that he’s been around longer and knows more dirty tricks. Tonight will be a war.

Bill Apter is with Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon. Dillon says that the Spoiler was always week, that was exposed in the tournament. Now Blanchard will finish the deal tonight.

Tully Blanchard (With J.J. Dillon) defeats The Spoiler following 3 Slingshot Suplexes (2*)

Bill Apter is with the Road Warrior and Precious Paul Ellering. Ellering says that the Midnight Express and loud mouth Cornette needs to learn a lesson. Tonight the Warriors are going in and walking out as Universal Champions

Mean Gene is with Harley Race. Race says that he doesn’t need anybody in his corner to prove to the world who the real Universal Champion is. Tonight the top 2 men enter, one leaves a defeated man, while the other one is Harley Race.

UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Road Warriors © (With Paul Ellering) defeats Midnight Express (With Jim Cornette), when Animal pinned Bobby Eaton following a Power Slam. (5*)

This was an amazing match up that saw all pin saves on both ends used including Cornette was a force on the outside using all distractions and interference, while Ellering used 1 distractor and 1 interference. Both teams hit their finishers multiple times, to no avail. Animal pulled out the Power Slam out of nowhere to finish it

UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

Harley Race defeats Nick Bockwinkel following a Pile Driver to capture the Universal Heavyweight Title.

Following the match, Bobby Heenan came out and celebrated with the new Champion.

UCWN Continental Wrestling Federation from Memphis

Lance Russell and Dave Brown welcome the fans to the premier edition of CWF Wrestling from Memphis. They mention that they have a great card with some guys that are familiar to Memphis fans and some newer guys.

Big TV Main Event, the Moondogs will battle Rock & Roll Express

They send us to the ring for the opening contest.


”Dirty” Dutch Mantell defeats Steve Lombardi* following the Double Dutch Clutch. (3*)

*Lombardi brought the fight to Mantell and almost pulled off the upset, in the opener.

Lance is with Jackie Fargo, Fargo immediately mentions that Savage returns to Memphis as loser, cause he was unable to win the Universal Title, and he’s going to show Savage what it takes to have heart and win later.

While Fargo continues to talk about Savage, Randy comes flying out of the dressing room with a chair and knocks out Fargo from behind. Lance is in shock and asks for some help, when Tracy Smothers, Tommy Rich and Dutch Mantel come out from the back to help.

Tracy Smothers defeats Koko Ware following the Jawjacker (4*)

Jimmy Hart comes out with Jonah Rock. Hart says that he’s got the greatest find ever, and he will bring gold to the Hart Family.

Jonah Rock (With Jimmy Hart) defeats Paul Roma & Jim Powers in an Handicap Match after pinning Roma with a Slingshot Corner Splash.

Lance Russell & Dave Brown announces that the big Monday Night card at the Mid-South Coliseum will crown the Southern Heavyweight Champion in a 1 night 8 man tournament.

Randy Savage is in the ring laughing at the damage he did earlier to Jackie Fargo. With Savage not paying attention, Tommy Rich charges the ring and both Savage and Rich began brawling all over the ring. The next thing you know Lanny Poffo charges the ring and attacks Rich. It’s a 2 on 1 assault, until Dutch Mantell comes out and joins the fight. Security comes out and breaks up the melee as we go to commercial.

Lance Russell announces that next week on TV Savage and Poffo will team up against Rich and Mantell.

Moondogs (Rex & Spot) defeats Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), when Rex pinned Gibson following the Tombstone Piledriver.
