Hello everyone, Thank you for ordering the Ringside Companion. I wanted to give you an update on the progress of this incredible resource. It's been a long process compiling this book of all the matches in Legends and COTG history. Late in the editing process we discovered a number of matches that were missing in the earlier draft. Rather than putting out an incomplete book, we decided to delay it a bit to make it the best possible book possible. You may have noticed a message today saying your order is complete. If you ordered any other game items besides the Ringside Companion, those have been mailed to you today. Express mail orders should arrive in the next few days, and Priority mail should hopefully arrive before Christmas. I will be shipping out the ringside companions using the same shipping method you paid for already. So if you upgraded to Priority or Express shipping, your cards will be sent that method and your Ringside Companion will too. Once the books are ready to ship I will email you again to let you know to expect it. I do not have an exact timeframe yet, but it will be some time after Christmas. I apologize for the additional wait, but I guarantee it will be worth it! Todd Thanks for the info, TB! I was confused for a sec as to why TM took over your account to post that, but then I realized that you ( ToasterBoy) were just quoting TM! I didn't order the RC just yet, so I didn't get said email. Rather have it done right. We’ve waited awhile, a little longer won’t hurt.
I Feel bad that FG has to incur the shipping cost twice on this.
Any kind of 2 pack or promotion that could be pumped out to ship w the companion? Maybe help offset the cost?
That way, we would pay shipping on the new product, & u wouldn’t have to twice. You could ship the companions w the new cards.
Would that help or be feasible?
It could be Doring & Roadkill. Maybe the new mystery signing(s) that could have made the set. Anyone really.

Um that's a fantastic idea ... I would be up for that or something like black Friday. Use code companion and get some kind of deal.
I was contemplating getting promoter prime 21 and messaging todd to see if I could get a time table on companion so then I could order prime and get that with companion and that way pay for shipping

We couldn't put out a half-assed Ringside Companion. Chad, it is totally understandable. The quality we come to expect from FG is why the game(s) have so many repeat customers. It's also the holidays, as far as I know, everyone that is working for FG, including the guy who created the game, has other full time jobs. I'm just super appreciative of all the work from folks like yourself, Todd, Mike, Sam, Ty, Zeke, Rob, and anyone else who has had a hand in making this something that we all look forward to. I also concur, I'd happily buy something from FG, to help defray the cost on shipping, as well. |
