Shark Valley Championship Wrestling
5/6/09 - Card #9
Bout #1: Alexis Smirnoff vs. Reid Flair - A great opener here, as both men tried to show that they not only belong here in SVCW. Reid weathered the early offense of Smirnoff, until he had an opportunity to take control. Reid won with a backslide at 19:47.
Bout #2: Angelina Love vs. Daffney - These two young ladies showed the crowd that they are here to prove themselves as well. A good match-up, as Daffney used her insane laugh and high impact offense to score several close falls. Angelina showed why she is a top contender in Shimmering Star. Angelina used her Lights Out at 16:37 for the win.
Bout #3: Brodie Lee vs. Dupae Rupa - The big bully Lee thought he would have an easy time with Rupa tonight, but that was not the case. Rupa, who came to the ring tonight with his CCW TV Championship, controlled the match in the early going. Lee overpowered the smaller Rupa and used his Big Boot to win at 9:50
Bout #4: Sheamus O'Shaunssey vs. Harry Smith - Sheamus attacked Harry on his way to the ring. Sheamus drove Harry's head into the ring-steps, cutting open Harry's head all before the bell. Sheamus used this to his advantage, as he nailed his Celtic Slam for the win at 1:40.
Bout #5: Alofa vs. Drew McIntrye - Drew looked great against the big Samoan, as he never allowed himself to be manhandled by Alofa and used his speed advantage to wear him down. Drew used his Thee Move to win at 7:49.
Main Event Bout #6: Dakota "Maverick" Darsow vs. TJ Wilson - Dakota used some fast kicks and tried to lock up Wilson with his Crowbar early, but TJ got to the ropes. Dakota pushed the advantage until TJ gouged the second generation wrestler in the eyes. TJ mounted his comeback and used another eye gouge to slow down Darsow. TJ used his Code Blue to finish off Dakota at 15:15.

Shark Valley Championship Wrestling
5/13/09 - Card #10
Bout #1: NIWA International Championship Shelton Benjamin vs. Satoshi Kojima (c) - Kojima looked impressive in this defense, as Shelton didn't get off an offensive move the entire match. Kojima won at 2:19 with his Cozy Crash Dynamite.
Bout #2: Steve Lewington vs. Ryback - Ryback used his size and power advantage to dominate Lewington. Ryback used his Silverback Attack at 4:33.
Bout #3: Sebastian Slater vs. Alofa - The big Samoan had a hard time last week with Drew McIntrye and now he has Slater. The fiery red-head started quick, but was sloppy and allowed Alofa the opportunity to score with some big moves and a few near falls. Slater turned the tide with a well placed knee off the ropes and never let up, scoring the win with his Caught With Sweetness at 12:44.
Bout #4: Slyck Wagner Brown vs. The Greatest Colo - Brown looked great here, using all of his offense to daze Colo and finished him off at 5:30 with his Haterbreaker. As Brown's hand was raised, Savage-T came out of the crowd and attacked him. Savage-T was able to use this blindside attack to drive Brown to the mat. Savage-T used a Vertabreaker on Brown, before he rolled out of the ring and was escorted out by security. Savage-T looks like a man possessed. This situation is far from over.
Bout #5: Mortis vs. Erick Stevens - Stevens is a huge favorite here in Florida, but Mortis drove a knee into the fan-favorites spine as he waved to the crowd. Mortis didn't let up, because he knew if he did that Stevens would be on fire. Mortis used his Flatliner to win at 7:06.
Bout #6: Wrath vs. Brodie Lee - Lee has been a bully thus far here in SVCW, so today he gets to face off with the big Wrath. They blasted each other super-size shots, each man being rocked with the shots. Wrath blocked a shot and head-butted Lee in the nose. Lee grabbed his face, but then eat a knee to the ribs. Wrath used a spinning side slam to win at 6:11.
Bout #7: SVCW Heavyweight Championship Match Drew McIntyre vs. Joe Hennig (c) - Drew impressed the championship committee with his last few matches, so he earned a title shot. Hennig knew this would be a very tough match. Both men tried to impose their will and dictate the pace. It was back and forth for the first 10-minutes or so, with neither man getting any advantage. As the match went on, Drew was able to attempt a sunset flip on the champ, which also allowed him to get in some quick moves. Nearly won the gold with his Thee Move twice during the match, but Joe was able to get out each time. Joe, turning the tide back in his favor after an elbow in the corner, was able to score the pinfall at 32:16 with his Hennig-Plex to keep the title.

5/23/09: Cove Championship Wrestling (CCW), the parent company for Shark Valley Championship Wrestling, is sad to announce that due to financial hardships, Shark Valley Championship Wrestling will have to close down operations for the time being. If, in the future, it is possible for Shark Valley Championship Wrestling to be reopened, CCW will gladly do so and continue to provide the top young talent a place to showcase their skills. filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=fed2&thread=622&page=9
