Those cards are cool, CZ! Thanks for doing those up! I may even team up Ray Steele and George "The Animal" Steele somewhere down the line! Todd C WTIC

Really cool stuff, not familiar with them, but will add them to my files! Thank you! The Duseks were basically the birth of chaos in tag team wrestling. They cheated like no one's business, used anything not nailed down at ringside, etc...and all in the early 30s throughout the 40s, before "hardcore" wrestling was even in pre-natal stages. Rudy, Emil, and Ernie were all pretty solid singles wrestlers as well, but that's not what these cards are meant to reflect. Everett Marshall was an NWA (Association, pre-Alliance) World Champion, he lost the belt to Lou Thesz in a match that supposedly went 3 hours. It was Thesz's first World Title. He's a legitimate hooker and definitely someone who could put a hurting on anyone in any promotion. Ray Steele is another NWA (Association) World Champion. He beat Bronko Nagurski for the belt in 1940 and held it for just over a year (the 4th longest reign on record). He also had a hand in training Lou Thesz to hook along with Ad Santel. Dick Shikat was the first NWA (Association) Champion, and a holder of the original World's Heavyweight Wrestling Championship. He was considered to be one of the finest shooters and most dangerous hookers of his time.

You make my vintage loving heart so happy Carlzilla. Yeah, this stuff is where I spend a good deal of my research and reading time. I'm just not really that interested in wrestling past the early/mid 70s...so it bums me out that most of what people want is stuff from the late 70s onward (most people's preferred era I guess, the late 70s through the early 90s). I'm super excited for Expansion IX because it's all guys from before that period so far. I know everyone wants a color OMG or a Kevin Sullivan, but I hope they stick to the era they've been sticking with, because it interests me a lot more, and after the 80s / 90s focus in the Memphis set (which is why I don't care for that set as much as everyone else seems to), we could use some older wrestlers.

Yeah, I'm quite happy with the new set and if it means I get the Kangaroos, I'll be that much happier.

Carlzilla, you have outdone yourself once again! Your bootlegs are becoming some of my favorite cards to use. I too enjoy this era of wrestling, it’s very interesting to me. Have you ever thought about making a card for Bert Assirati? He’s someone that has eluded me for some time..

Have you ever thought about making a card for Bert Assirati? He’s someone that has eluded me for some time.. Not sure that I know enough about Bert Assirati to bootleg him. I mean I know who he is and all that, but I'd have a hard time coming up with moves that made sense since I've not really read/heard/seen enough of him to do him justice. If you want to help me stat a card, at least with possible moves, I'd be happy to try to do some of the black and white line art type stuff I've been doing.

Like I said, not really sure how to stat him...but here's what I came up with after some research.
