I hear you. The dice have ruined quite a few of my plans. Not sure if you do this but one thing I do is if I am rolling one die for moves and it feels like it is not getting the rolls I prefer I will switch to the other die. Does not always work but sometimes it does. Sometimes if feels like one die is only getting low numbers and the other will get high.
