Speaking of the Briscoes, they just won the GCW tag titles! So if that's an indication of where things are at. Jon Gresham was there too. It will be interesting to see where the talent lands in the next three months.

It's got to be over because no company shuts down 3 months, releases all talent and starts back up like nothing happened IMO. This feels sadly accurate. I know there were reports of them continuing to pay talent until March but all talent are released. Can't imagine too many willing to resign again for April after getting released. Looking at social media it seems as if its over from the posts of talent and Management figures like Maria

it's sad if this is the end but I'm also surprised ROH has lasted as long as it has. That being said, this would be a good time for the NWA to sign some guys to short term deals for world title programs.

Bricoes to AEW? It would be great to see them on a big stage before they're done, especially since their loyalty was for naught. That’s the one I want to happen the most. They are on my Mount Rushmore of Tag Teams. FTR are dying for this to happen. Sad to see ROH go. Definitely one of my favorite feds ever.

That being said, this would be a good time for the NWA to sign some guys to short term deals for world title programs. They need something. Their Champions are pitiful (& I like Trevor Murdoch, but come on). Maybe Josh Woods or Tracy Williams? Can’t imagine anyone choosing what has become of the NWA & put themselves in another company that likely has little left in it. Impact has been a revolving door as well. No one seems to stay long. Hopefully MLW can get some help & variety. WWE may scoop a few. AEW will prob take at least half a dozen. GCW can get some good additions in this. But NWA will be lucky to get the stragglers who are waiting by their phones two months after their no-competes end. That’s why FunkASaurus has a belt.

Even if it was 10 years ago I wonder if the Briscoes' past Twitter comments make them employable by either of the two national promotions.

I was sad to hear this news today although I have noticed some strange things with ROH lately such as the Briscoes recently showing up in GCW.
I would really like to go to Final Battle in December as Final Battle I think is about the only major current ROH event I have never attended as I have been to Anniversary, Supercard of Honor, Death Before Dishonor, Survival of the Fittest, etc. But it is just not feasible for me this year as I am flying to Germany the following weekend.
I hope ROH is able to return in the Spring. If they return though, instead of Supercard of Honor, I think the 20th Anniversary PPV (probably in Philadelphia where ROH started in 2002) should be the return show to acknowledge their impressive history even if the fed is being reimagined.

Been on the ropes for a few years though aint it ? Shame The Triple H version of NXT and then AEW sapped a ton of talent and sort of rendered them redundant. And their disastrous offering at MSG--their biggest show ever--led to bad feelings from fans and essentially ended their relationship with New Japan. Also, it was clear that Sinclair was a benefit in terms of keeping them alive but also a hindrance in that they were never, ever going to be allowed to spend money to make money. They were cheap filler programming--no less, but no more. The ceiling was always going to be there.
