I guess this means we'll never get the long-awaited updated card for Dalton Castle. Well if he has a significant character change or elevation in standing on the indie scene, we could always see one. Zeke and I have never felt the need for an update.

For a moment there, it looked like he should have one, but honestly, any change would mostly be moveset changes right now. He was basically a moment in the sun before injuries derailed him.

AEW booking has been tremendous over the last two years. Hard to notice when ur yelling at the clouds. Curb your privelege and entitlement, fella. You don't even know me. The AEW women's and tag division have been booked unevenly for some time, the mid card scene is often a merry go round, and well Pockets is Pockets. Back to topic this news explains why ROH has more recently been willing to allow it's talent to work Indy shows. I'd also argue that the booking of the Dark Order has been pretty abysmal. I also don't know why GCW is really in the conversation for picking up some of this talent getting released, other than the fact that some wrestlers have wrestled there recently. They are just another indy promotion. Why bring them up and not bring up PWG or Beyond or CZW or whatever. Do they offer longer term contracts of any kind? Or is it all just one-off bookings like most other indy promotions? I'm sure WWE, AEW & Impact will pick up a fair amount of ROH's talent. Some will likely end up in MLW and NWA or the indies. Probably a little in Japan over time. Maybe some will end up back in ROH once they come back. Time will tell.

Agree with this. There was so much potential when Brodie came in and took over. Then they went from being a threatening force/back up to comedic sidekicks for Hangman. Think there was a lot of Hope that Wyatt would be the new leader with this Cult stuff he's been teasing

It might be weird having a full cult faction AND Malakai Black AND Abadon AND Luther (even though he isn't as prominent a member of the roster as the others). How many evil guy gimmicks does one show need. Then again, I'd take more evil guy gimmicks than I would goofy guy gimmicks and AEW has a lot of those as well.

Hell at this point I'd take the dark order joining the House of Black if it gets them more serious. Uno and Greyson especially could easily have a tag title run in the future if Dark Order were more valid than comedy skits

So Martina posted apparently there is a rumour that a lot of ROH stars have signed with AEW.
These names include Briscoe brothers Rush and dragon Lee Bandito Brody King Lethal and Gresham Dalton Castle Danhausen
I think there was a few others but from the top of my head those are who I remember lol. Rush and dragon Lee I thought as soon as it happened would sign duento their friendship with Andrade. Some incredible matches could happen and maybe the boost rampage needs to help their ratings. That show needs it's own identity and feel to it. Give it the Briscoes, King, Black. Make Rampage more of a hard hitting show like the name makes it sound

They are a very hot indie promotion. They have been putting on consistent shows all over the country and kept themselves relevant. I would go so far as to say they have eclipsed PWG at this point.

Unfortunately, as a fan, these guys will join so many others lost in the bloated roster and sloppy booking of an AEW. Most of these are top guys and there is very little room at the top in AEW as it is. I hope some of them will feel better served on the indies where they can still stand out. A big fish in a small pond is preferable to just another fish in a muddy, polluted ocean IMO.

MLW (who also released Jordan Oliver) today finally released Mance Warner who had been trying to get released for awhile so he could sign with AEW.
